I was incredibly disappointed with my visit and I am baffled by these 5 star reviews. The lady at the desk said that she doesn't know how to cut bangs. (I'm glad that she can be aware) But when my uncle went for a visit, suddenly the lady knows how to cut bangs again! I'm sure she didn't recognize me but I was confused. We drove 30 minutes before here for her to tell us that she doesn't know how to cut bangs but can for my uncle. In the end, his bangs turned out floppy. I don't think they do these type of hairstyles, but my friend did tell me that their dad had been at Great Clips and they did screw up his beard when I was at her house. I went to talk to her dad and he told me everything. Even though I didn't fully experience my visit here, I think this place deserves a 2 star. Never mind knowing that your greeted with a bunch of random men with bulging eyes staring at you by the time you walk in, they wouldn't stop staring, and it really made me scared and uncomfortable. read more

My sister and I went here today for haircuts. She had relatively short hair hair already and she got a pixie cut. She really liked it and her stylist seemed to be very knowledgeable on her hair type. I feel like my stylist might be a little new but she did a great job and even consulted one of the more experienced stylists which I really appreciate! I wanted to donate my hair and I told them that and she even braided my hair for me. My hair looks beautiful now and I would definitely go back. My only critique is that I would have maybe liked to have a little more layering. But other than that, the staff is really nice and the wait wasn't too bad at all! read more

For the second time we have receive a bad haircut. I am angry because this stylist hid her bad job by spritzing my sons hair and combing it to the side. When he showered out the product at home he was in tears and I was fuming mad. We haven't had time to take him up for it to be fixed but I can tell you that he has been made fun of and he HATES his hair that usually gets compliments. Great place for military to get hair cuts. If your military then you get a special rate, and no taxes so that's a plus. Service is friendly and quick. I've been here about 4 times now and each time I get the same consistent quality hair cut. Awesome place. Also you can download their app and make an appointment over your phone. I went in on a fairly busy Sunday for a refresh on my layers. Heather was recommended to me and I was seated relatively quickly. The vibe of the shop was good. Heather assessed what I was looking for and delivered a great cut. It was an overall great, efficient experience. I certainly will be returning and requesting Heather again. read more

We have been using this Great Clips for almost 2 years, mainly because they were convenient. They were ok, under the previous management. Under new management they are terrible. They are always understaffed, so no care is taken with the client. Even with the info from the previous cut and us telling them the cut is often not right and has to be fixed. Our most recent visit was the final straw. We always check in online. When we did the wait time was 68 minutes and went up to 80 minutes. So, we waited an hour and headed in. What they don't tell you is if you are not in the store in 60 minutes you lose your check in, it does not say this on the website at all. So, first thing when we arrive there is a sign saying cash only. No problem I was willing to go to an ATM across the parking lot. Wait in line to check in, told we lost our check in and they won't do anything about it because there are 4 of us. They would help us if there were only 2. They were rude about the entire situation, which seems to be the new norm at this location. read more

I just received the worst haircut of my life. I walked in with a full head of hair and out bald. They had to shave my head to fix a simple fade. Words cannot describe how upset I am. I will never go back there and will not recommend it to any of my friends or associates. read more

Almost every single time my husband came here they screwed up his hair. It seems like no one knows how to do a proper fade and they would always leave random long hairs at the top that they missed to trim. The last time we were here they charged us $1 extra and the only reason I found out is because I look at my bank statements every month. My husband always writes on our receipt what he tipped and the total after tip. I really hope they are not doing this to other people, a dollar here and a dollar there adds up. I actually ended up calling this Great Clips because I wanted to make sure they knew this and the lady I spoke to didn't seem to care and never apologized and told me she would mail me a dollar in the mail, I agreed just to see if they would even send it to me and they never did. Please find another Great Clips, we had a better experience at the one across the street from Regal Cinemas. read more

I have mixed feelings..they did a great job on my husband's hair but butchered my daughter's. Luckily she's little because it is uneven and has random chunks cut out of the back. It's the kind of cut where you don't even want to mention it because it is so horrible you know they will only make it worse. We will not go back. read more

Military cuts seems to be the only thing the "stylists" want to do, so they would be better placed at Fort Gordon and not with the general public. I have fine, naturally curly hair and have used three different stylists there and one left it lopsided, and all wet my hair and blunt cut it. I am not a stylist but know enough that you do not cut curly hair wet or blunt. I have explained to them that once my hair dries it draws up and therefore, they need to cut less off. They nod their heads like they understand and hack away. After six different tries I gave up. read more

This is a great place for military personnel to get a great haircut. I have been going there for about a year once a week and I always get a great haircut. I will continue with the service as long as I can. The employee is always friendly. Did I mention about the price? The price can't be beat. The price of a hair cut is cheaper than on post charges. I took my daughter to get a simple trim. I noticed 2 people were combing thru her hair and Kayla in particular was pulling my daughter's hair and ripping it at the ends. I politely asked her is servicing curly hair was new to her but she said that when they get "that type" of hair they charge a $40 detangling fee because it cuts down on their productivity.. She kept pulling my daughters hair and I just told her to stop working on her hair and she got a nasty nasty attitude. Connie the manager asked me to call the owner before calling corporate so I did. I explained to the owner what happened, she was rude, laughed in a sarcastic tone saying I was making a scene, and took Kayla's side saying that I should take my daughter to the "back" and brush it first. I told her that clearly she was not understanding the problem and how offended I was for them making remarks about my biracial daughter's hair. The owner proceeded to say that I will not tell her how to run her business and hung up.. Please, if you gave biracial kids, do NOT take them here... They're unprofessional, impatient, inexperienced, and rude. All they had to say was it was too much hair or whatever instead of making comments about her hair. The owner hung up which is a reflection of her character. This place is garbage. Especially for a first visit. For the owner to have responded in that way speaks volumes about her character and stated she didn't care about me spreading the word about her business. read more
