Don't go here! My sister came back crying because they messed up her hair. Horrible establishment

Checked in online, got at Salon at 5:30. I was told they are closed. This happened 3rd time to me, when store was closed before closing time. When mentioned to store manager, she was very rude and waved hand for me to leave. Great clips lost a Customer. read more

Regardless of the bad reviews, I tried it out! I checked in on the app and when I arrived I got right in according to my time estimate. The staff was friendly, fast, and did great work! The atmosphere was friendly and fun! I got a simple men's haircut and it was just that - a simple men's haircut! Candy did great! Will be back. read more

Missy has been cutting my hair for about a year and my husband's as well. She has been able to interpret what I/we want every time. Amazing. I trust her completely. That is a lot to say after the hundreds of beauticians who have cut my hair. My best story about Missy...I was sitting next to a man waiting for Missy. He said that last month someone else cut his hair. He went home and as he walked into his house, his wife said, "Missy wasn't there today, was she?". read more

I give them no stars!!!!!!! Will never step foot back in this place. Took my little girl to get her hair cut and they acted like they couldn't brush a tangle out. A nasty lady said we don't do detangling here and proceeded to make me brush my daughters hair out which wasn't bad and took me all of 2 seconds. What the hell do you do?? If I can brush a tangle out and you can't as a hair stylist we have huge problems. You have to brush hair out before you cut it. But being they are so trashy guess they didn't go to hair school to learn that which is why they are stuck at great clips and do subpar work. Trashy company and trashy employees go hand in hand. The owner needs to fire all of them and get qualified people with a personality. Waste of 20 dollars I advise you to not waste your money here and go somewhere else that is actually qualified to do a hair cut. If it wasn't for my daughter being there her and I would have not shared kind words! I hope the lady I am referring to reads this because you are pure trash with no personality and you need to find a new career because you are not cut out for the hair business. read more

Went to the salon in Hickory NC for me and my partner. We are 61 and 71 (had a lot of haircuts in the last 50 years). 2 different people cut our hair. Both did a horrible job. I can't call it a haircut; it is a CHOP job and lopsided one to say the least. It will take at least 6 months, if not longer for both of our hair to grow out so we can get someone that knows what they are doing to fix their awful cut jobs. Friendly staff, fair prices and the convenience of checking in online!

First of all, I will say the ladies were nice. The guy was a dick!! I went in with a soft cast on my arm after having surgery. I asked for a shampoo and a braid. He quickly responded that they don't do braids. I said anything to get it off my face for a day or two..."that will be an updo, a formal at $60. I don't think you want to pay that for a braid" After the nice lady washed my hair, the other lady asked if she was going to braid it for me because that's what I wanted. He briskly walked by stating that he already told my they didn't do braids, as if I was trying to undermine him and get it done anyway!!! I wish I could take them out of there and give them a good work environment. What an ass!! If he's the manager, they need to fire him and promote one of the kind ladies. read more

When I get my hair cut, I usually hang my coat on the back of the chair, so I don't forget it on the way out. This salon would not let me do that. One of the stylists (Candy) offered to hang it for me, but she didn't tell me where she hung it up. As a result, I ended up leaving my coat behind, and had to waste my time and gas to get it back. No haircut is worth losing a $200 coat! read more

If I can choose a negative star I would. Do not go to Great clips!!! They treat me like I am rushed! I look like Spock one side and I look normal on the other.
