No offense to any people working here - it's not personal - I have a hair salon phobia I want to spend as little time as possible in the salon and I got skipped in line and had to wait twice as long as I was supposed to and my dresser was nice and did a good job but I prefer it to have been faster and not interrupted mid haircut. I'm glad I got the dead hair cut off - my hair feels healthier. I don't recommend any great clips for a guy. The atmosphere is decent at best. Cuts for men just aren't the best at great clips.

I've been twice for me and my mom . I was "okay" with my hair cut but my mom was very displeased. She said it felt like they were practicing on her. She also stated that she wanted bangs and not to make it too short. Which ofcourse they did. It was so short it barely covered half her forehead. The stylist asked if she could make more bangs to cover the short hair and yet they still weren't long enough for her liking although she pointed where she wanted the bangs to be. We went on a Friday morning, and me and my family just wanted a hair cut, so, I went on the chair like normal, and picked my design, I already had a good design, so I wanted to just trim, when she started she was intensely mean, rude, then after she was done, it was horrible! My entire family has been coming here for over a year now and feel we get a good quality cut from most of the stylists here. They are all friendly and will work with you to give you what you want and make suggestions if you aren't sure. The price is $3 cheaper than my former stylist for a men's haircut. We probably favor Rick more than anyone else because he was the first to cut my sons' hair when we first started coming here and does a good job. We also have had favorable results with most of the other stylists. You can also call ahead to set an appointment or set one online through their website. When I get a haircut I generally get a standard men's haircut - pretty hard to mess up, right? Wrong. I've been to dozens of places throughout my life and found that getting a clean, even simple men's cut isn't always easy at a cheaper place. If you do manage to get one, you rarely get it with friendly service. That isn't the case here. I've had every person that works here cut my hair at some point and they all have done a great job. I'm always at ease due to how polite and friendly the staff can be. I know they are trained to do the most haircuts in the least amount of time, but I never feel rushed or pushed through. My favorite is the attractive blonde lady with the accent (Russian, maybe?), she does an excellent job and is super friendly. Her name might be Marina or something? Plus, I'm a sucker for accents and every time she talks I melt. LOL! The manager also does a great job, he is extremely friendly. I saw signs for $7.99 so I figured why not. A few days later when I had time for a cut the signs were gone. I was uncertain about the price so I called. The employee who answered the phone confirmed the price was indeed $7.99. I told the employee I would sign in on line and be there in just a few minutes. Well apparently the price went up within the 2 minutes it took me to drive up there. When I asked again about the price before the stylist started she told me $15. I've been going to the Atascocita location since it opened. Not once have they told me that a blow dry would cost $5 extra. I've always paid $12 for a cut & blow dry. The rude woman I saw this week asked me if I wanted a blow dry and it would cost $5. I asked her how long the price had been in effect because I was there a few months ago and was not told that, nor was I charged extra. She said, "you are welcome to call Corporate". I sat there incredulous and she stood there with dryer in hand looking distracted. I told her I wouldn't have enough money for a blow dry and a tip. She then said she could dry it a little, but ended up drying all of it. She told me twice that I would have to pay for the blow dry in the future. As if I needed to hear it more than once! He literally has chunks cut out on the top of his head, the stylist had his chair set to high and during mid cut she readjusted it because she couldn't see over him. Awful horrid experience. My daughter got a haircut and they were "finished" in literally 2 minutes. They cut her hair dry and and it left blunt choppy uneven ends. I mean an inch or two differences in pieces they missed. I luckily only got a shampoo blow dry by a completely different and equally incompetent "stylist"I should have known better when the lady shampooed my hair without even wetting the underside of my hair. Okay so this is the third and last time I'm going to go to this location. The first time they did my hair really well and did what I asked them to do. The second time I had the same lady cut my hair and she butchered it and added all kinds of layers, which specifically asked her not to do and I did not want. Today I went and got my hair trimmed and felt like I was annoying the lady, Tracy. When I asked her questions about my hair it was very uncomfortable and she kept running to the front desk to help other customers when I'm sitting there not happy with my haircut. I have waited a few days to post this review to get my thoughts straight. I have been to this location a few times since I have lived in Atascocita. I have never once had an issue like I had this past week. The girl who cut my hair cut it way too short. Two inches too short at least. I didn't realize what had happened until it was too late. I sat there thinking, "This is not at all what I asked for." The girl told me, "This looks so much better than that thick, frizzy hair you came in with." Rude much? I still tipped her because it isn't a necessarily bad haircut; it's just not at all what I wanted. I never wanted to go back to boy short hair because I look ridiculous. I give her the tip, and she didn't even say thank you.
