I've been going to Sankë for the past three years and have had nothing but excellent service. Brianna Mendoza has been my stylist and has completely transformed my hair! She and the other stylists have amazing talent and I've never seen anyone leave there with anything but fabulous hair! The entire staff is helpful and friendly and the environment is relaxing and pleasant. I always look forward to my appointments. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I called this hair salon to do a hair consultation, and I specifically asked them who specializes in blondes and who is good with time plus giving them details about how I get my hair done. The person who answered the phone could not recommend a specific person saying they are all good. So I chose to go with someone who was a higher level colorist & then she matched me with someone that was available. When I came in for the consultation, the girl I met with didn't really seem confident in doing my hair and with timing, so she asked her coworker Brianna if she would do my hair and she said no problem plus she's blonde so thought maybe it was a better match. We made my appointment around when she would be able to pick up her child from daycare. Weeks later I get a text message from the salon saying they no longer offer my service. So in my face they made my appointment but behind my back they cancelled it. They had no intentions of doing my hair. My hair is pretty much just highlighting but instead of weaving I do slicing. If you can weave you can slice lol but they must lack highlighting experience in general bc no one would say this service is no longer available. I'm not sure why you would have "high level" inexperienced colorists doing color. Making a consultation & coming to this salon was a complete waste of my time. read more

I've been going to stylists here for 10 years or so. My go-to Trish retired, however, I got my most recent cut from Brianna! She did an incredible job. She communicated with me about the process and made me feel very comfortable! I asked her to lighten my hair but not to use bleach and she did an amazing job. I now live in San Antonio but I'll happily make the drive to continue going to Sanke. read more

I've gone here a couple times and never had any problems and usually see someone different every time. However, this experience has come to me deciding to never go there never again. Do not get your haircut by the stylist Kimberly! Whenever cutting my hair dramatically short I choose to pay a little more to get it done. Paying around 30-45$ I expect a quality cut. The cut was fine, however she missed hairs that I had to cut myself at home. So I went back to touch up my hair and to cut my bangs straight across...I asked for them to sit right at my eyebrows and she cut them where they sat FAR from them. In addition to that, the bangs where not cut evenly of both sides. Super cuts would've done a better job and would've saved me 25-30 bucks!! I was furious. I didn't know how simpler to explain how I wanted them done. I've been wearing a hat for about two weeks now. I had to reschedule my senior photos! She is a terrible stylist, do not see her. If she can't cut a simple pair of bangs who knows what else she can do. read more

I got my hair extensions done at Sanke with Brianna, and I LOVE everything about this place. The salon, the stylists, the hair, the price! Literally everything. I've always been sketched out going to salons because I always felt the stylists never listened to what I wanted , and always left less than satisfied. Brianna did the complete opposite!!! She made me feel comfortable, and that I could trust her. She did exactly what I wanted! I really loved that I could zelle , Venmo or cash app Brianna her tips because I rarely carry cash , and I love taking care of stylists that cars of me so that made me fall in love with the place so much more!! Liah was amazing. Not extremely chatty like most hair dressers are. Love that I could sit in peace. I do wish the technique was a bit better but she really did address my concerns and with time she would be amazing at doing my hair. Sasha always makes my hair look amazing. My hair is thick with a few waves and mostly straight so I consider my hair hard to work with. My cuts and colors are always perfect so I make my husband take me for a date the night of which ever day I go see her. read more
