Marie works out of Arturos Salon in Kingwood, TX. What I walked in with for Marie to work with was a total train wreck, and what I left with after her work was exactly what I wanted. I got back to uniformity that was close to my natural color, while covering my few grays and preserving just a bit of highlights that had been done years before. In addition, she gave me a great haircut that took advantage of my natural waves, but gave me a nice amount of flexibility. If you want a hair stylist that really listens, while being realistic about what she truly thinks is best, then Marie is your woman. She is an expert colorist, not to mention a pleasant, humurous individual who brings intelligence, insight, and experience to her craft. She told me she could check something when she got to work and she never got back to me. I had to find another place to go to. It was not only rude, it was pretty unprofessional. The owner of the salon did give my mom her money back but made my mom feel like the damage was her fault because she had to high of expectations.. and that what she wanted was going to be a process. I bought some hair care products here today and change my mind while I was still shopping in Walmart. I went back to the counter less than 15 minutes later to make a return and was told the owner would not issue refunds only exchanges. I asked to speak to the owner, Euri Acosta, and the manager called him on the phone I informed him that I did not want any other items in the store I simply wanted a refund for one of the products that I purchased. Euri informed me that they do not issue refunds and it was listed on the receipt. However what's listed on the receipt is all sales are final for clearance and sell products, what I purchased was neither on clearance or on sale. And then informed him that there was no sign in his store that indicated refunds were not allowed, have there been I would never have made a purchase there. He simply refused to refund the product even though he has no signage anywhere that indicates his return policy. I find his business practices shady to say the least and his customer service skills lack greatly. I will never, ever, ever shop in this establishment ever again. Updated: So, in addition to unclear business practices and poor customer service skills, I see that lying is also included in Euri Acosta's business strategy. An exchange was not offered to me in response to yelling; I was told that was the only option - period, when I requested the refund. Further, I do not yell at business staff - it's not how I handle myself; it is unseemly, ineffective and it resolves nothing. But, if this business owner finds this method more effective than actually establishing transparency in his business practices, so be it. You have been warned.
