I've been going to this Great Clips for a couple of years, stopped in today and got the worst haircut I have ever had. I asked for a fade with a 1 and a half attachment and got a 1 and a half cut to almost the top of my head but that was only on one side. The other side was almost what I asked for thanks to another employee, maybe the manager who tried to fix it. I ended up going someplace else to get it fixed! Every time I want to check in at Great Clips their CHECK IN IS TEMPORARILY DOWN. Why do they even bother to advertise it????? IT's ridiculous. So I signed up online and went to my hair appointment roughly 50 minutes later. Which is fine waiting line and the process was nice or decent. However when I got my haircut I did my best to chat with the hair stylist and to be friendly. Idk what happened but I asked for a higher type fade with a low or zero guard and to take 2 inches MAX off the top. Well the haircut itself lasted maybe 5 minutes. The fade wasn't even lined up whatsoever. The stylist took off at least 3-4 inches minimum and that was only in the spots she chose. The 5 minutes she spent outraged my fiancee'. She's not a hair stylist but she spent at least 30 minutes just trying to fix it. Due to the nature of the butchery of the hair cut she did the best she could. I know hair cutting can be a hustle but the other two hair stylists in the store still had the same customers in their chair when I walked in and when I walked out. My hair now has to grow a little bit before I can even try to fix more because I don't want to look like Sloth from the goonies for the next couple weeks. I'm not sure why I couldn't get any attention or like a double look over my hair after she made her cuts. It was truly terrible and I even tipped afterwards. For 23 dollars a haircut i should had been able to feel good. I shouldn't of had to use my woman's free time just before her work to get touched up. I'm very disappointed that no one up there seems to understand what one to two inches off mean. I don't need to be hustled to go back for a 23 dollar hair cut every two weeks. I was very disrespected in that regards. Also hate to say it but no I get my hair from my father's side. My mother's side has a bald person as her father before he passed away. My father's side had tons of hair. I'll never be bald because of my DADS side. Sorry that the hairstylist didn't understand actual genetics but reprimanded me cause I stated such. I'm all for woman power but maybe that's where we "crossed hairs" it's sad to say I actually did the same haircut MYSELF 2 years ago but you dont really always way to do it yourself but if this is the performance of the store then I will be forced to feel like a prisoner who can only get a haircut 1-2 times a year and only using a clipper. It's a shame that a 0 star rating isn't allowed. Checked in online and took a seat. After one of the stylists finished a customer she asked my name. I told her I checked in online. Her immediate response was to ask if I had a mask. I jokingly said it's hard to do a beard trim with a mask on. She said they're not allowed to trim beards due to state mandate. I said take me off the list and left. I looked at website, app, and around the salon. Nowhere does it state no beard trims. I find it interesting that I've had my beard done recently at this same salon with no issues, all during the epidemic. Wow! What an experience. I was the only one in the place, waiting... stylist was talking to a friend who was visiting and spent about 10 minutes gossiping and chatting while I sat patiently. He definitely knew I was there as we made eye contact multiple times. Finally his friend left and he complained to me about the same gossip of which I knew nothing about while hurriedly cutting my hair. Definitely won't be going back to this place. read more

I go to Great clips all the time. Most of the time I get great results. However, the last time I was there, the stylist(if you can call him that) did a chop job. They say the difference between a good hair cut and a bad is two weeks, try eight with this guy. Someone needs to take his thinning shears away and pound them into dust. He is more interested in himself and his tattoo artist, who had the temerity to get killed, than in the customer. This is by far the worst hair cut I have ever seen. I'm devastated over the chop job my son received. I've cried, laughed and lost sleep over this crappy hair cut. How could anyone cut hair like this and think it looks good. It literally looks like a blind or extremely drunk person cut it. My son went from having beautiful curly hair to having choppy looking hair there are huge chunks cut out of it, chunks of hair cut off by his ear. One side is longer than the other. It's uneven all over he has half moon shaped bangs that are cut to his scalp. Looks like she tried to give him long sideburns. What kind of beautician would try to layer curly hair on a baby boy? No wonder why she works at Great Clips no one in there right mind would hire her anywhere else but Great Clips chop shop of all chop shops. I wouldn't go here if you paid me! I moved here from Colorado and in Colorado, went to the same hairstylist. I kept asking her to cut my hair a certain way, and she never got it right. Sooooo, I took a risk and went to Great Clips on N. Sandhill Blvd. and Bailey gave me the exact haircut I had been trying to get for 10 years!!!! Sadly, Bailey moved back to AZ(?), soooo, I took another chance and went to another stylist there (Kelly) and he got it right the first time around!!!!!!!!!!! I will never go anywhere else.
