Got my hair butchered. Asked for a little trim, and it went downhill from there. The hairstylist didn't spray my hair down with water as every other hairstylist at every other hair salon does before they start cutting, instead she just started snipping away. She cut my hair unevenly and I can't really save it by styling it a different way. She asked a lot of questions about how I wanted certain aspects of my haircut done, and while at first this seemed quite nice, it now seems like she was just indecisive and couldn't figure out how to cut my hair- because any other hairstylist would know exactly what to do when I tell them what I want done and show them a picture for reference. I left her a tip because I felt bad, but couldn't recommend her to anyone; her "signature style" is she wears a black hat. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Certain hairdressers are fantastic. But today the one my mom and I got were terrible! I'm not a professional, but I could've done better with kitchen scissors at home with my eyes closed. I asked for layering. She hacked and slashed my hair every which way. I'm not sure if this was the WORST or BEST haircut I have ever had... The experience... let's just say that my hairstylist needed to blow her nose (probably more than once...), and learn more lyrics of California Girls... The end haircut was phenomenal, but the experience was truly horrendous. read more

Took my daughter to have her hair just trimmed up and they hacked her hair up so bad. She was so upset to the point of crying. Will never go there again. We thought they would have done a better job. So these guys managed to take down my google review. But that won't deter me on exposing their bad practices so re-posting here. I've been a regular at Great Clips since about 5 years but a recent experience at this salon left a bitter taste in my mouth. Never coming back here. Took my 3 yo for a haircut. The stylist refused to even touch him if he wouldn't stay steady. We told her clearly that he is a bit tough to handle and has sensitivity to haircut and loud noises and we'll hold him and calm him down as much as possible. But none of the stylists were ready to cut his hair and refused to even talk to us properly. Hair cuttery graciously took us and the stylist was so patient with him and gave an awesome haircut. Now I want to make this clear that he has got a lot of his haircuts at Great Clips previously but this was my first such experience. Terrible behavior. I sincerely hope the management reads this and instill some sense of respect in their stylists that work here so that no kid with or without special needs gets turned away in future. If you can't handle them, better mention this on your website. read more

I went to Great Clips (store #1773) today for a military type "high and tight". I have to say, the haircut I received is in the top 3 WORST haircuts I've had. Hillary was my barber (at least that is what is on my receipt). I am, literally, embarrassed by the haircut. It is a total hack-job. If a particular barber cannot cut a certain style, they should say so. I was hoping Sherry was working. She usually cuts my hair and is fantastic. I am contemplating cutting it myself to make it look half-way acceptable. Oh yes, I can quantify my worst haircuts. I was there at the same time as Charles B. Both of the girls working were great and he doesn't know what he's talking about because California Girls wasn't even playing. It was my first haircut done by someone other than myself since 2008 and it turned out wonderfully. read more
