My sister purchased a product and was eager to begin using it that same night. But as she opened it that same day she bought it, she found the box empty. We quickly contacted guest support but they suggested we go to the physical store to get it resolved. I went in place of my sister as she didn't think they would believe her. When I got there and explained the situation, the assistant manager told me that she talked to the cashier who sold my sister the product, and watched the video feed, and told me there was nothing that could be done and was acting as if we were in the wrong. My sister bought quite a few things that day and the product in question was a form of eyelash serum, and is naturally light, so she thought nothing of it. What I don't appreciate is the managers lack of empathy, and the subtle accusations that we were unsavory customers and that we had stolen. I ended up purchasing a new box to ensure my sister had what she needed. The assistant manager also mistakenly provided me with the empty box I brought before I corrected her and told her it was the empty one, and I needed the box with the product in it. I did not appreciate the experience and am not happy my sister purchased a stolen good product for the sake of the stores. Two and a half stars I would say. Even though this store is newer than the one on Concord Pike it doesn't have as much inventory. Some of my favorite brands can not be found here. No First Aid Beauty, very limited Philosophy. Also alot of shelves are bare even within Ulta's own brand. On the plus side the store is a welcome addition to Fashion Center Boulevard. Other than Sephora inside the Christiana Mall and the make up counters at Nordstrom and Macy's, no other dedicated beauty stores exists. read more

Let me preface my review with this: I am very picky with who cuts my hair. I have trust issues. Jaclyn is fantastic not only at curbing anxieties, but at cutting hair. My hair used to go down to the small of my back and I wanted to chop it to collar bone length, I was terrified! I had been growing my hair out for years, but I was looking for a change. Jaclyn gave me her advice and opinion based on the shape of my face and did a wonderful job cutting it with the layering style I like. A little later, I went back. I wanted to chop it again, this time to the length of my chin. Coming in riddled with anxieties, Jaclyn helped calm me and decide the logistics of the cut. She even remembered me! Similar to the first time I visited, I loved my hair coming out. Jaclyn not only cares about her clients, but is extremely talented. I will only be seeing her for my haircutting needs in the future! read more

I have came here on two different occasions to buy the good girl perfume. I pointed to the exact one I wanted and when I got home they gave me the wrong one. I visited this Ulta location twice in one week. The first time the staff at the register were helpful and patient in helping me use a discount code. The second time I had to return my item to get a different shade. One staff member was very personable and genuinely interested in helping me find the right shade, helping me return my original purchase and placing an order online for the new item because they did not have the shade I needed in-store. I went to the salon here and got a blowout for my senior pictures. I loved how my hair turned out and really enjoyed the experience. Jaclyn did an amazing job with my hair and even took a few extra minutes to fix a botched haircut from a different salon at no extra charge. I had never gotten a blowout before, but she gave me exactly what I wanted and it turned out great. Would definitely recommend getting a blowout here! read more

I love ulta! When it comes to beauty supply stores this beats any other company. The rewards program is awesome and they always have a coupon for $3.50 off of a $10 purchase. I love Ulta and would way rather shop there than any other beauty store, like sephora. But I took away 2 stars because of how they treat their staff. A coworker of mine told me how when she worked at Ulta they weren't allowed to bring purses to work and showed me the clear bag they were all given to use as a purse at work. Why hire someone that you think would steal? They also have to put green dots on makeup that they own and if you have stuff in your coat pocket, they'll 10/10 ask you to show them what it is. And that's for their EMPLOYEES. I would feel so embarrassed because some of the things I carry in my purse I don't want the world to see. AND I wouldn't want to work for someone who constantly thinks I am stealing. read more

I went here to get eyelash extensions from the benefit cosmetics bar inside. I have been to many New York benefit cosmetics in my life and they are awesome with applying the eyelashes so I figured I would give this one a try. Horrible. My lady made me cry as she applied them and did it in a way I have never had done before. They looked atrocious and were not applied evenly at all. Within a day almost half had fallen off and looked so fake and bad. I love benefit cosmetics but this one was horrendous. The people working there need to learn how to actually do the applications or they should not be allowed to be putting chemicals near peoples eyes. read more

Been to this ulta many times and it's the only one I go to really. SOOO much better service than sephora. Joanne who does the benefit eye brow waxing seriously has some magic. And Lizzy and the salon does my hair never a bad cut also had Barbara who is the manager and amazing as well. Mary the stylist I've heard very great things too! This ulta is easy to get to if you're on 7south and take the Christiana exit and make a right at the light and straight from there. Never had a experience with cashiers either and I love the rewards system it's pretty easy to get rewards. read more

Very disappointed that I did not receive bonus points as per a recent email. I questioned the cashier and was told to check online but a week later nothing showed up on my account. A call to Ulta customer service got lot of apologies but no missing points. Manager said sorry but bonus offer had expired and nothing he could do. It hadn't expired when I was in the store and had I known there were issues, I would have called before the expiry date. I expect employees to know about current offers and also expect Ulta customer service to have the power and desire to make a repeat customer feel appreciated. read more

I love Ulta, but my experience at this location was terrible. I was so disappointed. I entered the store happy and excited to make new skin care purchase. The store was not very busy, but still no one greeted or approached me to offer assistance. About 5 minutes in I approached a sales woman and she responded "what" and virtually refused to help me, only pointing to the NARS section of the store. I was shocked and embarrassed and left empty handed. I hope this Ulta location will reevaluate its customer service and staff. read more
