Inside is a clean well maintained salon with two working today. They were finishing with their customers when I walked in. Adding my name on the wait list on the app it was pretty easy and when I arrived saw that I was the only one on the list. I'll be glad to be the only name and was soon taken to my chair for my typical cut. Removing pretty much all my hair is always a shocking sight after growing it out for so long and being lazy to get to the salon. Clippers on the side and scissors on the top, my stylist was friendly and pleasant chatting about the recent events and how she can handle a crowd going thru over two dozen on her own yesterday. No small feat! My haircut was quick, clean and efficient but I did notice she didn't take my sideburns off or didn't ask. A little sad about that. I'll fix it at home.

I asked what would be the waiting time since I did not sign up online. Twenty minutes was the answer. It tells you how fast they actually cut their clients. Fast and great quality are opposing parameters and the result is rather predictable. So I have avoided them in my path through life. However: This time I got a coupon in the mail and it was an offer I could not let pass by.... I have thin hair on top as opposed to very thick hair on the sides and I explained my hair was cut accordingly so it was left longer on top intentionally. Very typical older male. It6 is vwery common to do that to give the impression of more hair on top.....I asked her to take off an inch everywhere consistently. This was the length of my neckhaoir that I had not trimmed down since last time I had a haircut. I had to take my glasses off so I could not follow her activity. When I came home it turned out she had left no hair untouched and all were now an inch long consistently. Even if she misundestood me somehow (she must eithe rhav ebeen stupid or of very low IQ or not being listening) she should have verified that "interpretation" before just going ahead with that damn clipper. the level of stupidity, lack of interest, negligence and minimal intelligence is just staggering. AVOID AT ALL COST. It is also well-known in the restaurant industry to never hire waiters that cannot take an order. But in the hairdress community bottom of the barrel, that appears to have no parallel.

Asked if she could help me and when I told her I had a lash appointment she rolled her eyes and said "I'm not even set up! Go sit down." Literally. Word for word. I sat in a salon chair - because you know I had a salon appointment. She said "Not there" and I then had to ask where?? I've never been there before- did not know they had a little waiting area. I didn't care that she wasn't set up yet- if she had politely said hey I have to get set up, please have a seat" I would have had no issues. But I am not going to give my business to someone who 1. Obviously did not want to be there. 2. Knows no way to communicate without being rude and 3. Has to be mean spirited just because I don't know where to sit. She needs to find a job where she does not work with the public or where she actually likes the job. Maybe one where she can stay on her cell all day.
