I went into Great Clips at this location a couple of weeks ago. I have long hair down to the middle of my back. I had an issue with a frozen shoulder and could not wash or style my own hair so thought I would drop in for a quick shampoo, dry and style, expecting to pay a typical Great Clips price. The process took two hours, literally, to wash, dry and style my hair. The bill was $59. Are you KIDDING me? I think the technician milked the time just to make more money off of me in a difficult situation. I will never go back! read more

But let me tell you, my experience was nothing short of fantastic. Long long wait, I checked in using the app. Almost three hour wait initially. Grateful for the app, but as it got closer the time kept jumping around making it hard to time my arrival. Once in I love the energy and atmosphere, kinda loud but good music playing so the staff was in a great good. BEWARE: BAIT & SWITCH TACTICS! Last night I popped in to Great Clips to inquire about getting a perm. Sarah quoted me a price of $89 for medium length hair, and set an appointment for 10:00 AM this morning. When I arrived, Sarah wasn't there but the woman at the front desk told me my perm would cost considerably more than $89 because I had "long hair" and that it was "shoulder length " I informed her that, first of all, my hair was not shoulder length (it does NOT touch my shoulders), and that furthermore, since a haircut was included with a perm, I intended to have a couple inches trimmed off, making the length even less of an issue. This woman proceeded to argue with me at length about whether my hair was currently touching my shoulders, and she made me extremely uncomfortable, so I opted to leave. Came in Thursday night for a quick cut. Was told a 30 minute wait. Watched the barbers dither around for 30 minutes until I started to suspect they wouldn't be able to see me in under an hour. Round about 45 minutes the main guy sat down at the desk, took down his mask, sneezed in his hand, wiped it on his short, pants and beard and then put his mask back on. Great Clips is ALL about making sure clients check in using the Great Clips mobile app. So if you're in the neighborhood and just drop by, while one or two people maybe waiting. You'll still wait an hour or so as people who have already checked in online will walk in and pass you up. This is a big thing to this place. This could ruin your first experience especially if you need a haircut right away. Don't let that prevent you from downloading the mobile app and checking in online. It will tell how long the wait is roughly before you even show up. Be careful to keep an eye on your waiting time. If no shows dont show. You wait time drops quickly. Alright, aside from that... This place is a chill little spot. I got a quick "military style haircut without it being too military, but still in regs so big sarge won't be on back all day about getting a haircut". A solid haircut without any issues. In and out and in with my life. It's not the greatest place on earth however it isn't terrible by no means. The staff is pretty friendly as well. read more

I got a postcard saying haircut $9.99. That price sounds good. I use the computer to set a time, zero wait, so I'm there within 5 minutes, and there's no other customer there. I show my postcard at checkin. Without looking at card, clerk says, that's not good until November. I look at the card, it says Expires 10/28/20. I give card to clerks, they check the "single use code," which causes no problems. Then they say they won't know if my $9.99 coupon is good until after the haircut. Definitely not legit. They will tell you when you walk in that you can check in and go elsewhere until the time is up. DON'T! I made the mistake of taking them at their word... I left for 1 hour of the 75 minutes they told me. I had gone from 11th to 8th. Seems unlikely. Then I went home for 30 more minutes before returning to be 7th. The lady told me "it's been slow because we only have 3 stylists". I guess that means the fact that all the names in front of me had changed. Clearly, I was being skipped and put last, but I could not get anyone to admit to doing that. Then someone walked in with only 2 names left (me and another guy ahead of me) and they were met at the door by a stylist and taken back. The "put you at the end" principle seems to be selective. A bad hair cut is a terrible thing, but it happens. Terrible service and a bad attitude is inexcusable. On Saturday, Cori buzzed cut my son's hair to a 1/4 i. His hair was nearly three inches long and he wanted a fohawk. He has done this before so I let him tell Cori what he wanted. After the damage was done, I asked her why didn't she ask me if he wanted all his hair buzzed off? Her reply was, "That is your fault, you should of gone back and told me what you wanted. He(my son) told me he wanted his hair buzzed short." She then asked someone to come to the register and back her up that it was my fault and that is what he wanted. Here are my problems with Cori and Great Clips: 1. if she was in doubt, she should of asked me first. 2. instead of listening, she immediately became defensive. 3. she blamed me for the bad hair cut, how is it my fault that she gave my son a bad hair cut? 4. she wouldn't even listen, but called on a fellow employee to back her bad attitude and decisions. 5. she could of simply apologized, I would of been fine. and finely, the receipt says "...complete satisfaction is guaranteed", I am far from satisfied, but still paid. read more
