$15 haircut, what else do you want? This is probably the best deal in Seattle/Bellevue area. This is legit better than haircuts I got from 3 different hair salon in Bellevue (they all cost $40-60 for men haircut). Yes it doesn't come with service such as hair washing and a little head massage at the end. But at the same time it doesn't cost $40-65 for the haircut + extra services. Think about it, if a haircut cost $45 not including tips in Bellevue, you're basically paying $30 ($45 - 15) for hair wash and massage. $30 for a hair wash? Unless they are using some caviar shampoo infused with gold and mixed with some bonsai tree oil extract, you're getting scammed. Trust me, come here and get your haircut for $15 and go home and wash your hair. You don't need to pay the extra $30 to have someone wash your hair for you with some shampoo that probably cheaper than the buy one get one free deal from Walmart. read more

I scheduled a last-minute haircut appointment for my husband and he was able to come in for a haircut within 30 minutes. The hair stylist was professional and followed all COVID guidelines (social distancing, checking for symptoms, taking your temperature, etc). She was quick and effective in cutting my husband's hair, especially given the fact that I tried to cut his hair myself and messed up pretty badly. I've never cried in a salon until I came here. The stylist completely butchered my long hair, giving me all sorts of choppy and blocky lengths. I said something about it to her while in the chair, and she shrugged saying it was a layer and did nothing to fix it. I admit I was more nervous than I thought I would be taking my two year old son for his first real haircut, but I had nothing to worry about! Anna was fast and crafty while working with my wiggly boy--she did such a good job, you wouldn't know he was moving around for most of the cut! She was sweet with him when he didn't like the clippers or the blow dryer, too. He's going to be the ring-bearer in a big family wedding coming up, so I'm immensely pleased that the cut came out looking nicely-done handsome, especially considering he went in looking like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo! :) The shop isn't flashy or fancy, but it's clean and warm, and I can go there my schedule as a walk-in, which is a huge plus when going out with my two young children. I didn't feel like my four year old was going to break some fancy decorations or ruin the 'chill vibes' of an upscale salon, either. 'Fancy' is not always a plus with kids, so it's great to have a clean, unpretentious place to take them that still does a great job! This is a small and quaint salon with a few salon chairs but typically only one stylist, Anna. From the outside its easy to assume this is a salon desiged for females, from the sign to the fact that its right next to a nail salon. Don't be fooled, Anna does a super clean male cut and trim. Nothing super fancy to look at here, just a few plants, magazines, and a coat hanger. Not that much is needed- I have never been unhappy with a cut here, that's quite impressive because I've been going here on and off for 4 years. Am somewhat particular about my haircuts since I tend to grow out my hair and while how the haircut looks right after is important, how it grows out is just as important. Anna does a great job, if you're after a men's haircut and have wavy/curly hair, and want it to grow out shaggy with texture/layers around the back and sides in addition to the top, she can make that happen for sure. Ask for a taper around the back and sides that starts at a 6 and goes to a 3 or 4 towards the bottom, and ask for texturizing/thinning shears all around. Spontaneously decided to get a haircut, on a Sunday afternoon. I called around 11AM and was able to get a 2:45PM appointment. There was plenty of free parking available and the salon was clean & tidy. She was able to start cutting my hair right at appointment time. I got a 1" trim with light layers. First time visiting this place to get a buzz cut (I believe it's in new location on Northgate Way, not on Aurora Ave). After she's done cutting my hair, I asked whether I need to get my hair washed. She took me to a hair wash station, after it's done and I'm ready to pay, she added $3 extra to my total pay. I asked why it's $3 more than the advertised price? she said it's for the hair wash. I looked at the price list and I cannot find it anywhere on the list that mentions $3 extra for hair wash. I didn't argue and proceed to pay. I won't be coming back. I cut my hair at Great Clips, Super Cuts, Ulta, Sports Clips, Hair Sensation around the area and I never once charged extra for hair wash. If you want to charge, it's totally fine but please inform your customer before hand and display the extra charge on your price list.
