Nothing helped and they could not determine what was causing the pain. I finally gave up on them and went to see Mike. He spent the time to ask me questions and analyzed my walk and posture. He worked with me on different exercises which I continue to perform daily. Within 6 sessions my pain was gone. It's been three months, and I feel great. My lab has had two knee surgeries and while she is still very energetic, she does get sore and her knees need to be considered. Emily took it on herself to back up to curbs so it's easier for Rosa to get in and out of the truck. She also pays attention when she needs to take it easy on some days. Also, Rosa started eating things on the walk that she shouldn't (gross), and Emily quickly realized on her own that if she just gives Rosa a ball to hold onto while walking, she won't eat anything. One day when dropping Rosa off I was going to suggest it to Emily, but she brought it up first! She really cares about the dogs and tends to their individual needs. I started seeing her when I was pregnant with my twins and I was so uncomfortable during that pregnancy but her work was one of the only things that helped. I was also able to have a healthy pregnancy and labor in part because of Nancy! Chiropractic work is tremendously helpful for us as parents of young ones because it helps us not get nearly so many viruses! The kids bring home a lot of colds and we don't often get sick when we're good about getting regular adjustments. We brought our eldest and in Nancy's first assessment she noticed that my child's adrenals are on overdrive, their C spine is completely jammed, and their hips and back are all kinds of wonky. Although they are just nine, they are an athlete. Probably more so than anyone in my family! They spend their life in motion. Kids often benefit greatly from chiropractic work! I did two trauma healing sessions and one past life regression. It's as if my brain has been reprogrammed. My experience: Before the session, we discussed what I'd like to work on. Then when she starts, I gradually fall into a deep hypnogogic state. Her voice gets further away and it's as if my body/subconscious takes over and responds to her suggestions. After our sessions, I noticed that I was starting to process trauma that had been too painful/buried to do so consciously through other therapy methods.
