Eaton park is one of the best green spaces in Norwich. It is great for sports and has pitch and…read moreputt, tennis, bowls and croquet areas. There are also flat playing fields for more informal ball games and running around. All the paths are smooth and flat and are ideal for children to ride their bikes on in a safe environment away from roads. My children's favourite part is of course the play area which is all built over sand so don't forget to bring your buckets and spades with you too! As well as spending a great deal of time here we also like to play games of Hide and Seek in and around the Rose Garden and try and spot fish and frogs in the Lily Pond. Be warned if you have very young children as this is not fenced off. There is also a model steam railway (open Sundays only in the summer) and a model yacht pond. The focal point of the park is the bandstand in the centre of the park. A small coffee shop and toilet facilities are also to be found near here. We always enjoy our time here and of course it's free!

It is going to provide a smoke, drink and drug free environment for teenagers. There will be loads of activities for them to do. Or it is just a safe place for youngsters to meet. A coffee shop will provide drinks and snacks to any visitors to the building. WATCH THIS SPACE for what should be the best youth venue in the country.

I recently purchased some shabby chic homeware which was get value for money and brand new with the tags on. The shoes that come in are brilliant quality. I guess like all charity shops you have to browse thoroughly. The staff are very helpful and very deserved of a tip as they are volunteers.

The Salvation Army charity shop on St. Giles Street is a great place to look for cheap furniture…read more Sure, quite a lot of it is past it's best, but with a little care and attention you can often find a real bargain. As well as the large furniture collection round the back, it stocks the usual charity shop ensemble of ornate glasses, John Grisham novels and vaguely intriguing This Jigsaw Can NEVER be SOLVED!!! puzzles. Overall, it's a nice little charity shop.
