10/10 experience! Steven was an amazing tour guide--friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. He made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. The other people on the tour were also very welcoming, which made it even more fun. The tour lasted about an hour and gave us a great look into the history of bourbon and whiskey how it's made, the materials used, how it's stored, and the aging process. The tastings were definitely strong, but I learned new ways to enjoy bourbon and whiskey and discovered the different flavor notes in each pour. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, informative, and memorable experience!

10 out of 10 would recommend!! Wow, from the interior design, the amazing wait staff, live jazz music and the food, this was an afternoon to remember. Found out about Great Jones Distilling on pulse when they were running a deal that I couldn't pass up; so glad I didn't. The interior of the restaurant easily gives 5 star energy. We had the option to seat where we wanted, which was nice and decided to sit in the middle of the room so we could be close to the live music but far enough away were we could hear each other talk. For starters I got the mimosa and my friend got the old fashion, both were made very well. For the entrees we both ordered the Short Rib Benedict, which was by far the best benedict i ever had. Every component of this dish was created perfectly. I cant speak enough about how good it was. With the pulse deal we got to sample out a flight of whisky. Each glass was alike a shot size and the flavor was described exactly to the taste. So good. For dessert we ordered the monkey bread...Which again, was the beeeest dessert I've had in a long time and the best monkey bread ive ever had. I couldn't stop eat it. I can't wait to go back and try soemthing else off the menu. Sooo good!

Walked into Great Jones Distilling expecting a whiskey tasting. Walked out acting like I personally owned 40 acres of grain in upstate New York. Manhattan's first legal whiskey distillery since Prohibition, serving bourbon, rye, great food, and enough old-school vibes to make you feel like a Wall Street gangster on his day off. A few pours later, I was nodding at jazz, discussing whiskey notes I definitely couldn't identify, and confidently telling people, "Yes, I taste the Black Dirt region." Turns out whiskey isn't just a drink--it's a personality trait.

The BEST espresso martini I've ever had was at GJD!!! No one has ever come close since. Service and ambiance were also two thumbs up.

Went for the Jazz Brunch on a late Saturday morning and had a great experience. We started with a Smoked Old Fashioned and a Paper Plane for drinks - both excellent. For food, we had the BBQ Wings (huge!), Shrimp & Grits, Burger and Short Rib Benedict - all good. Great decor, friendly staff and the live music was a nice touch.

A friend of mine who loves whiskey suggested that we try Great Jones Distilling. We came here for the Sat jazz Bunge, and the interior had an old-fashioned, elegant vibe. The old-fashioned and paper plane drinks were perfect. also try to sample whiskey flight came with three different tastings that was fun. He ordered full-size barbecue short ribs. That was very good. I ordered the steak and fries that was just okay. For the appetizer, we had raw clams and BBQ wings. The wing was huge for dessert we ordered the monkey bread and it was the best monkey bread I've ever had. The service was Excellent. Of course, he bought a Boltte whiskey to go home

Im not a whiskey drinker but I came here for brunch with a friend on a Saturday morning which included a cocktail, an entree, and a whiskey flight. The cocktails were good and the food was tasty. The portion sizes are small though. The whiskey tasting was fun because you can really taste the difference between the pours but since I'm not the biggest fan of whiskey, my friend had to finish most of the flight for me. It's a nice restaurant and the servers were attentive. I just wish they played actual jazz music during this advertised jazz brunch. The musicians were kind of just playing elevator music.

Went for a Saturday jazzy brunch at Great Jones distilling.Love the ambience and if you are a Whisky drinker, this is the place to be. We had oysters, chicken, wings, barbecue ribs, and steak and Frites, all the dishes were very good. They also have a great cocktail selection during brunch. There was live jazz music playing. There is also a tour of the distillery and retail whisky for purchase. There is a deal on pulsed for this Great Jones Distilling for $49.

Absolutely loved the jazz brunch here. The short rib Benedict was kind of small for the price but I loved the whiskeys. In particular the old fashioned was super yummy and the whiskey flight was great as well. Service was also great. I love the vibe as well.

We stopped by for a drink before our dinner reservations. The drinks were excellent and we'll definitely come back to do the tour next time.

A friend told me that this place makes great old fashions. He was correct! I sat at the bar...The bartenders here have masterd their craft. Sammy and Jack took time with each drink created. Everyone in our group of six was pleased with their drinks and food! I had the chicken sandwich. It was good. But I tasted the wings and they were way more seasoned than the fried chicken sandwich. I will get the wings next time. I also tasted the croquettes, not a fan. No flavor for my palette. The French fries were really good! The place is on the Second floor you have the option of elevator or spiral staircase! The decor is so chill. The barstools are big and comfortable! Great place to meet up with friends or meet new ones at the bar! They also do tours of the distillery! They also have happy hour!

I had a great experience! The service was great. The food was excellent. I also tried the flight really smooth whiskey. I also tried the paper plane which is a must try very delish. Perfect balance between sweet and strong. Only thing is the music wasn't really jazz when I went, some kind of jazz adjacent guitar playing. But nonetheless still a great experience and good vibes

    Anya T.

The happy hour here is too good! If you haven't been...let me put you onto a gem in the city! Me and a friend usually meet up here for their happy hour. I've enjoyed some good old fashions while they e opted for their tasty Paper plane drink. If you've never had it, try it! I also love getting their small happy hour bites, especially the raw oysters. Look, an oyster on happy hour hate to see me coming. Okay! I've been here numerous times. The staff is kind. The facility offers tours and they have a restaurant on the ground floor. I've never been to the restaurant but I go upstairs for the happy hour. Really chill vibes, cute views out the window and a nice slightly dimmed vibe for a happy hour meetup, hanging with friends or colleagues and is cute for a date night or dinner. I will be back!
