    Live jazz

A friend of mine who loves whiskey suggested that we try Great Jones Distilling. We came here for the Sat jazz Bunge, and the interior had an old-fashioned, elegant vibe. The old-fashioned and paper plane drinks were perfect. also try to sample whiskey flight came with three different tastings that was fun. He ordered full-size barbecue short ribs. That was very good. I ordered the steak and fries that was just okay. For the appetizer, we had raw clams and BBQ wings. The wing was huge for dessert we ordered the monkey bread and it was the best monkey bread I've ever had. The service was Excellent. Of course, he bought a Boltte whiskey to go home

10 out of 10 would recommend!! Wow, from the interior design, the amazing wait staff, live jazz music and the food, this was an afternoon to remember. Found out about Great Jones Distilling on pulse when they were running a deal that I couldn't pass up; so glad I didn't. The interior of the restaurant easily gives 5 star energy. We had the option to seat where we wanted, which was nice and decided to sit in the middle of the room so we could be close to the live music but far enough away were we could hear each other talk. For starters I got the mimosa and my friend got the old fashion, both were made very well. For the entrees we both ordered the Short Rib Benedict, which was by far the best benedict i ever had. Every component of this dish was created perfectly. I cant speak enough about how good it was. With the pulse deal we got to sample out a flight of whisky. Each glass was alike a shot size and the flavor was described exactly to the taste. So good. For dessert we ordered the monkey bread...Which again, was the beeeest dessert I've had in a long time and the best monkey bread ive ever had. I couldn't stop eat it. I can't wait to go back and try soemthing else off the menu. Sooo good!

The BEST espresso martini I've ever had was at GJD!!! No one has ever come close since. Service and ambiance were also two thumbs up.

Went for the Jazz Brunch on a late Saturday morning and had a great experience. We started with a Smoked Old Fashioned and a Paper Plane for drinks - both excellent. For food, we had the BBQ Wings (huge!), Shrimp & Grits, Burger and Short Rib Benedict - all good. Great decor, friendly staff and the live music was a nice touch.

We stopped by for a drink before our dinner reservations. The drinks were excellent and we'll definitely come back to do the tour next time.

Absolutely loved the jazz brunch here. The short rib Benedict was kind of small for the price but I loved the whiskeys. In particular the old fashioned was super yummy and the whiskey flight was great as well. Service was also great. I love the vibe as well.

Im not a whiskey drinker but I came here for brunch with a friend on a Saturday morning which included a cocktail, an entree, and a whiskey flight. The cocktails were good and the food was tasty. The portion sizes are small though. The whiskey tasting was fun because you can really taste the difference between the pours but since I'm not the biggest fan of whiskey, my friend had to finish most of the flight for me. It's a nice restaurant and the servers were attentive. I just wish they played actual jazz music during this advertised jazz brunch. The musicians were kind of just playing elevator music.

I had a great experience! The service was great. The food was excellent. I also tried the flight really smooth whiskey. I also tried the paper plane which is a must try very delish. Perfect balance between sweet and strong. Only thing is the music wasn't really jazz when I went, some kind of jazz adjacent guitar playing. But nonetheless still a great experience and good vibes

A friend told me that this place makes great old fashions. He was correct! I sat at the bar...The bartenders here have masterd their craft. Sammy and Jack took time with each drink created. Everyone in our group of six was pleased with their drinks and food! I had the chicken sandwich. It was good. But I tasted the wings and they were way more seasoned than the fried chicken sandwich. I will get the wings next time. I also tasted the croquettes, not a fan. No flavor for my palette. The French fries were really good! The place is on the Second floor you have the option of elevator or spiral staircase! The decor is so chill. The barstools are big and comfortable! Great place to meet up with friends or meet new ones at the bar! They also do tours of the distillery! They also have happy hour!

I had an amazing tour with Jackson! He was very personable and knowledgable about the distillery and I learned a lot about the process of how whiskey, bourbon and rye is made. The tastings were a nice touch which I was not aware of at the time were inclusive with the tour so we samples 3 different types of whiskey! At the door concluded, my boyfriend and I decided to eat lunch at the bar upstairs. I had a short rib orecchiette pasta and he had the $26 cheeseburger and old fashioned lunch menu! My pasta was DEEELICIOUS!! Very meaty, they did not skimp on the short rib at all. Very flavorful and I can't stop thinking about it to be honest! We will be back to try their happy hour menu one day! They are pricey food items but I am sure the quality and quantity will be worthwhile. My pasta was $24 and I would say that was fair for the amount of meat that was in the pasta.

The happy hour here is too good! If you haven't been...let me put you onto a gem in the city! Me and a friend usually meet up here for their happy hour. I've enjoyed some good old fashions while they e opted for their tasty Paper plane drink. If you've never had it, try it! I also love getting their small happy hour bites, especially the raw oysters. Look, an oyster on happy hour hate to see me coming. Okay! I've been here numerous times. The staff is kind. The facility offers tours and they have a restaurant on the ground floor. I've never been to the restaurant but I go upstairs for the happy hour. Really chill vibes, cute views out the window and a nice slightly dimmed vibe for a happy hour meetup, hanging with friends or colleagues and is cute for a date night or dinner. I will be back!

Was in NoHo NYC for a show and been wanting to try this spot for a while now. Very cool vibe when you walk in - a deconstructed still in the lobby. Headed upstairs to the bar for a drink - tried the Applewood Smoked Old Fashion. Nice smoke, not too heavy on the bitters, no sting to the bourbon. Staff were friendly and attentive. I was surprised at the overall size of the bar and restaurant - smaller than I expected. Looking forward to going back for a tour or the brunch on the weekend

If you're in New York resident you get five dollar distillery tours, which includes a tasting of three whiskeys. We gots cocktail and an appetizer in the bar area after the tour. The short rib croquettes were great, and the cocktails were as well. great time!

When I mentioned we had limited time on the second day, he said he'd make it a 3-day ticket instead. When the ticket printed still showing 2 days, he assured me it would be adjusted. I was suspicious but purchased anyway. The next morning at check-in, we explained it was supposed to be a 3-day ticket, not two. The staff member said there was nothing he could do. That evening, I tried customer service chat. After wading through useless automated responses, I finally got a human. The initial responses weren't great, but I was eventually told to email a photo of my receipt, which I did. As of the following day, I still haven't received a response. The chat experience itself was frustrating -- it kept bouncing back to a bot even while I was mid-conversation with a live agent. On top of that, we purchased 4 tickets but were only given one ticket/receipt for the group. This means we can't split up and travel separately, and customer service had no way to accommodate this. In this day and age, that's unacceptable. Bottom line: Be careful when purchasing -- the street salespeople are not trustworthy, and once they have your money, support is minimal to nonexistent.

However, it was actually just a ferry ride, which is free, with no real organization of getting on except for running and making sure you can see the tour guide and then getting off to instantly to catch the next one back as soon as you got there. This should be explained in the details. Additionally, you do stop at the places mentioned but you do not get access to go into anything. For the Brooklyn Bridge it was basically just walking to the front for a photo and leaving. Same for Grand Central Terminal, you go in and walk around quickly while he explains a few things. For $220/pp, I expected a bit more. Martin was our tour guide and he was great. His voice was loud and he knew what he was doing. Just keep in mind that you should honestly be in shape for this tour because you are consistently having to jog/run to keep up with the tour guide to stay on schedule. I would not recommend for anyone who cannot keep up. All in all, we had a smaller group, so it felt more intimate and it was nice meeting others from different countries and states. And you are able to get nice pictures throughout.
