[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot, on the small side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came on a Wednesday bingo night. Mocktails are close in price to cocktails I think but tasty. A mocktail that was pina colada-esque (basically a juice) and a club soda ran me $17 plus tip.

A gem in Morristown! Good for the start of your night or the end of your night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Start: good for a meeting area to gather multiple people in a non-chaotic atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] End: night cap to seal your evening in. I came with a friend at the end of our day and it was a nice way to just chat and catch up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is not very loud so you can actually have a conversation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely sit at the bar if you can: you get to watch the bartenders craft (and I intentionally mean to use the work craft) beautiful drinks. You are surrounded by so many lovely smells as they toast mini marshmallows with a torch or smoked wood to add different elements to elevate your drink experience. Pricey? Yes. Fun? Yes. Tasty? For sure.

We met friends on March 7 and it happened to be their 1-year anniversary. They had some nice specials and raffles to celebrate. I tried the grapefruit haze and south side and both were really good. Service was great as usual and [[HIGHLIGHT]]space feels upscale.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Happy anniversary DH and looking forward to many more visits in the future.

The Back Nine and Holden My Drink

Wifey and I stumbled onto Dismal Harmony Distillery while in Morristown and stopped in to give it a try. Yes, we knew before walking in that the drinks were probably going to be expensive as these small batch local distilleries always are, but we weren't gonna say no. Took a little while to figure out which drink we wanted, but once we did it was simply delicious. Wifey ordered the 'Holden my Drink' and I ordered 'The Back Nine.' Both drinks, though very different, were both refreshing and drinks I could have all summer on the patio. We got to chat with the bartender a bit (I mean, at a place like this you really should) and learned a bit more about our the place (only open for four months), the different alcohols they serve, and the menu (the bartender and owner create the specialty drinks, it changes regularly, and they have some that aren't in the menu). Seems like a place that requires a return...and it will be soon!

Bottles we purchased after visiting.

Outstanding staff, service, and most importantly great product. Mixed drinks were thoughtfully put together and the spirits themselves truly shobeWill be back and would highly recommend.

This is a must try for cocktails! I've never been to a cocktail bar where every single drink on the menu looks, sounds, and tastes delicious. There is truly something for everyone and extremely unique flavors. The staff are also incredibly helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. The drinks are a bit pricier than your average place (approx $17/drink) but definitely worth the few extra dollars. Such a cute new find! They have incredibly unique liqueurs that are worth trying! We ended up buying the libertasse, monk, and vidisha masala.

Can't say enough good things about this distillery! I wasn't drinking that day so the bartender was able to make me a great mocktail, and my sister and SIL both thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. Our bartender really made the experience though!! We were there on the first day of their fall menu, so he let us taste little samples of all the unique ingredients in the new drinks and talked us through how they make them. I took home a bottle of their own masala liquor, and got a few suggestions from the bartender on how to use it. I've already tried it in hot cider and can confirm that was SO. GOOD.

Came here twice in a trip to Morristown: [[HIGHLIGHT]]has a wonderful vibe, let's you bring food[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], knowledgeable staff I got a gin sour drink with grape, limoncello, and gin. Really delicious. A girl in our group got a flight of liquors and they were so unusual but SO good. Really surprising. We also had a non drinker with us and they did a great job making her mocktails All in all a great experience

Bartenders here are knowledgeable and friendly. Drinks are expertly crafted. You don't taste the burn of the booze but definitely feel its effects. The flavors are well balanced and complement the spirits. Drinks also come aesthetically presented.

Absolutely LOVE it here! We always stop here after dinner for drinks. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and I always try something new. Awesome spot and definitely ask about their specials!

Mini cocktail flight in the patio. One was a Negroni, all were good. The salt was amazing and I forgot to ask what kind it was.

Tucked behind the Morristown Diner you'll find this north Jersey gem that's worth seeking out. The inside space is really beautiful and while the outside seating is covered, you're still sitting in a parking lot. They offer flights of their spirits that are made on site (you can see the stills inside), as well as a flight of mini cocktails. They also make a wide variety of liqueurs, which I think is extra cool because the cocktails are 100% Morristown-made! Fresh herbs and house-made syrups are an excellent touch and show they're serious about their products. Service is super friendly and knowledgeable. You get the feeling they'll talk to you about booze for as long as you want. You can buy their products by the bottle as well.

Great atmosphere, good drinks, bring your own food. They distill their own gin and vodka in house; right now the bourbon is imported. We tried old fashioneds, Manhattans, and a complex gin drink with mint and cucumber. All were good, all about $16. They also make a masala spiced liquor that you have to try, sweet yet spicy, unlike anything anywhere else. Nothing dismal about it, worth a visit!

We had only one gripe as we had to wait a 1/2 hour for a suite even though we had a reservation. Each time though the service is fantastic. At the main restaurants - their bar is big...and always busy. Their bartenders are friendly and attentive. Their steaks are great and cooked to perfection! Prices are on the high side but worth it. Only one time did we have an awful experience and the waiter was rude. The manager made up for it and then some! Stop in and ENJOY!

An appetizer order comes with three small slider style rolls. For mains we shared the chicken parm and veggie ravioli. The chicken parm was an absolute show stopper. They do that thing where they come to the table with a hot pan of cheesy sauce and pour it over the cutlet. It tasted even better than it looked, and I love that this came paired with paccheri pasta. The spring ravioli is a nice and light dish and came with lots of fresh veggies. Love the vibes on the patio and an aperol spritz was the perfect drink to enjoy outside on a nice day. Shoutout to Daniel who is the best server ever and was so nice to bring us out a little treat for my hubs birthday. I'm never disappointed here!

I realize I probably should write several reviews, but since I ate here five times (two dinners and…read morethree breakfasts) across a four-night stay, I'm just writing once. First, overall I'd say the food was very good on all five visits. The first two nights, I had dinner here. On the first night, I sat at the bar and enjoyed a bowl of the French onion soup and the halibut. The soup wasn't huge for $12, but it tasted good, and the halibut was quite flavorful. I didn't realize at the time, but they add in an 18% gratuity, so tip extra at your own risk. On the second night, I ate at a table with two coworkers. I had the chicken paillard, which was a large portion and also very good. Service was strong at both the bar and table on consecutive nights. For the three breakfasts, I pretty much had the same thing every day...an omelette with a side of fruit. It also came with potatoes, but it would've been nice if it came with toast or something similar without needing to pay extra. Again, food was good. Service the first day was fine. The next two days, the older gentleman providing service couldn't have cared less. I (and others) would show up at 6:30, when they opened, but nobody would be there. We'd sit ourselves and then wait. Eventually he'd show up. It was difficult getting coffee too, as both days, my cup sat empty for a long time until I'd eventually flag him down. Everything was on his time. I would've given him little/no tip...if the 18% wasn't already added in. The rest of the restaurant...food and service...gets a 5. This guy gets a 1. I probably should've given this a 3, but it didn't seem fair to everything/everyone else.

We did a quick search, saw Jersey Spirits Distilling and decided to give it a try. I would have never known it existed since it's tucked in the back of an industrial complex. From the outside, it looks small, but it's pretty spacious inside. When we were seated, our server gave us a brief history of the distillery. I love that it's family-owned and all of the ingredients are locally sourced from NJ. There are so many different cocktail options, and some of them were so creative in their presentation. Since I was having a difficult time deciding, I went with the Espresso Martini flight. It came with a Traditional, Pistachio, and Jelly Ring martini. I also ordered a cookie butter martini. My favorite was definitely the creamy pistachio martini. I am so happy to have discovered Jersey Spirits Distilling and can't wait to visit again soon!
