Place is small but cute. Located in industry city. I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail. They make and use their own product which is really nice. The bourbon is smooth and nice on the palate. The service was good but the pours on both drinks were very un even. Even the prices were different. So, I'm not sure what to think of this. They have classes fri-Sunday which I'm super interested in. Overall really cool vibe and place. Fills up quickly though!

This feels like a secret hide out that's far enough away from the maddening crowds to avoid being too busy or impersonal, but also serves up high quality crafted spirits in local taste. The double barrel rye and gin are top of my list, and they have a great menu of cocktails to help you get inventive and flavorful with both of them. They also have a few nice mocktails for the no-alcohol crowd looking to keep things classy without the tipsy. I also love the hang out space with pool tables and big cozy sofa and papasan chair- just a nice overall hangout space to gather with friends.

Went with some friends to check out local businesses and this place was awesome! Incredible service, friendly staff, lots of space and most of all incredible drinks!!! my friends are I ended up staying for hours playing card games and laughing with staff. 10/10 would recommend anyone come try this place out!

Late with this review, but better late than never! FHD was the location for my new employer's holiday party. They did not supply the food, but they supplied the libations, ambience and service. The drink menu is extensive and the bartenders were able to keep up and get orders out pretty quickly, while being pretty personable and fun. The distillery is pretty spacious with slightly sectioned off areas, which was very comfortable to say the least. I did not drink a lot (2 cocktails), because I just started working with this company plus I just don't overdo drinking at company functions, despite having a high tolerance for alcohol. Nonetheless, I had a Hamilton Mule, which was delicious. I would definitely revisit with friends or solo, just because I think it's a cool spot with good drinks and cool bartenders.

My family and I had a fun time checking out this distillery, where we got to learn about the history and the making process of their delicious whiskey, which is distilled New York-style. It We ended up doing their tour, which consisted of fun facts, an awesome and yet informative tour guide, and best of all quality whiskey! They also have a little game room on the other side where you can chill and enjoy the vibes after your tour. You can also grab a drink or two at their bar. This is def a fun thing to do if you're looking to try something new.

GOTTA Love a local distillery and this one not only has awesome liquor, but a really great ambiance and cool staff with a lot of knowledge on their products with recommendations if you don't know where to start. The entrance is on the second level of Industry City so you can get in through the courtyard staircase. I love whiskey but they also had some gin which was quite aromatic and good for a summer cocktail. I got the Maple Syrup Old Fashioned which was just perfect. NOT sweet which was exactly what I wanted- just a HINT of maple. really delicious. There's a saloon right across the hall with pool tables and LOTs of other great local businesses in the area so you can come for drinks and food and fun! I'm a fan of Rye and theirs was good too so definitely worth going to for a few drinks on weekends or even weekdays!

I've come here several times in the past including my Birthday the past two years and have had a whiskeylicious time every time! In the past two years they have expanded their space and now have a Pool Table and a corny situation with Corn Hole as well. The Whiskey is fantastic with my favorites being the Bourbon and Cask Strength Rye. They also make a Maple Bourbon Syrup which is amazing to put on Waffles! The service is always spot on as for our last visit Haley did our tasting and was lovely. Always a fun vibe when visiting! It's a trek for me to come out but I always love stopping by!

Great experience. It was nice to do something different from a winery. Will be doing again with my husband and friends.

Everything was offered as one or two ounces pours, so you could sample a bunch or relish exclusive bottles. I had one ounce of the Lucky Thirteen for $15. I typically see the bottle at a $200-$300 price point, so it was nice to get a taste without the huge splurge. Wonderful aroma. Sweet and vanilla forward reminding me of marshmallows. Sweet corn flavor too eventually switching over to more spicy flavors from the run in the late flavor and during the finish. Staff was quick, friendly, and helpful. There was one single occupancy restroom. Dynamic atmosphere. Huge sprawling windows allowing plenty of breeze and sunlight when opened. The vibes are classy with an entire wall of bottles lit up for a nice ambiance. Since we had our pup with us, we sat in the patio. I ordered the Rye Tea Punch ($16) while the boyfriend got the 10 Year Old Fashioned ($16). It was so cute how my drink came in a little clear teacup, which was a nice touch. The only thing that was disappointing was the slow service. We had asked for the check, but it never came around after waiting 15 minutes. We had reservations to get to, so the delay was annoying. I ended up walking up to the bartender to close out the tab since we never got our check.

The expansion into the building next door tripled the Taproom, and the crowds tripled with it. Here's the thing though. The Irish Coffee is still the best in America. Served warm, not scalding, cream whipped to order and floated so it sits like a lid. Three tables around me ordered rounds at 2pm and nobody was wrong. The Parlor upstairs is where the actual bar still lives. Sixteen cocktails you can't get downstairs, table service, relative quiet. Downstairs, skip the fried chicken (it's tenders, whatever the menu says) and get the fish and chips, which are honest. Service was fast and a little impersonal, which is what happens when your ground floor is 60 percent tourists photographing the dollar bills on the ceiling. The 1828 building still does a lot of work, low ceilings and all. Is it the world's best bar anymore? No, and half the old bar team has scattered to open their own spots around town, Limo in the East Village being the latest. But a Guinness and an Irish Coffee here on a weekday afternoon is still one of the better hours you can spend below Chambers. Book the Parlor, treat the Taproom as the warmup.
