I wanted to support a small business, but I feel let down by the service as they have delayed my delivery again. I have written them that 4 months for a shipment is unreasonable, and asked for a full refund to my credit card. They denied this and gave me a generic response that they are doing all they can to get my order out. If I had known that the order would be for October, I would have not ordered. Also, I am not confident in their ability to deliver the product by the new estimate and am afraid that it will be delayed 2021. There are multiple retailers I can purchase this from locally in person or online who have the product now. Many other customers are in the same boat as me. This is not a trustworthy business. Spend your money elsewhere. Instead of spending all their time re-posting on Instagram, this company should work on their supply chain and inventory management system. Did a pre order Oct 2020 for some dumbbells with the understanding it would take 4 to 6 months. I was OK with that. During the waiting period they were reasonably responsive to my emails looking for updates. About 3 weeks ago I received an update that they just received a big shipment and orders would be on there way soon. Last week I received notice of my shipment with a tracking number for Canpar (when I paid for shipping I paid to have them shipped by UPS) so far the tracking info provided does not show up on the Canpar app or their website which leads me to think I've been given bad tracking info or the item has never been shipped. I have contacted them by email twice and no response. In any event my experience has been less than stellar and I would not recommend anyone place a preorder with them. This company is shady as an oak tree. The 1 star google reviews will give you a good idea of what they're like. They cancel pre-orders after sitting on your cash for months if their costs go up to much, their customer service is horrendous. There are dozens of complains about unreturned phone calls and emails. You might get lucky and get the stuff you pay for, but if things go wrong, don't count on them to back up anything they sell. They might give you good service if you are a gym owner, but if you are a small potatoes buyer, they don't seem to mind screwing you over, which should tell you all you need to know. The owner sent me a text explaining that the code should not have been able to work and that I would need to be charged more. I explained the situation and asked that the order be cancelled. I went on to order another set of weights. Neither order ended up being cancelled. Now I have additional weights I don't need and no one from the company will answer my questions or even respond to me. It has been over 6 weeks since I first brought the issue to their attention. I'm both an athlete and coach so when the pandemic hit I had to adapt. Training went online but I still had to figure out my own training. Being in an apartment I didn't have room for a power rack and barbells so I went all kettlebells and body weight. I picked up 8 bells and counting from Great Lakes Girya. Quality is great. I love the handles and shape. My matching pairs are very consistent. The E-coat finish is just right for high rep snatches. Enough grip without tearing up my hands. They take chalk well when I'm sweaty. I put them in the same league as Dragon Door, Kettlebell Kings or Rogue but at a much lower price. Since they are local to me I save a lot being able to pick them up as well. Service has been quick. They have more size options than I have seen anywhere else with both standard and tweener sizes. They go up to 206 lbs which is ridiculous but awesome. read more

I've updated this post and increased to two stars. If it hadn't taken 6 months to get these products, the rating would be higher. I had several responses recently from Igor whom followed through, and my kettlebells arrived! Customer Service was the obviously the biggest issue this firm needs to work on...and Igor seems to be trying to pick up the pieces. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Placed order more than 5 months ago for kettlebells. When I placed my order they'd indicated about a 1 - 1 1/2 month delivery for a pre-order. I ordered kettlebell set and mace...total $665. Have only received mace...and not the main part of my order (the kettlebell set, along with a few extra KBs). I've been told it will ship "next week or week after" several times now...and yet...still nothing. This has been the worst purchasing experience ever. If they are having a problem getting their products manufactured...stop accepting new orders until you get your supplier figured out. Also, stop posting details on your site about "new arrivals" that are questionable. I know about small business challenges, but this is at its core poor-bad business practice. I was told it would be in by November 23 and on that day I was refunded for the bench because they couldn't honour the price I bought it for in May and decided November was a good time to inform me of the pricing mishap. Nearly one year to wait! Without informations, without apologizes, without personal words or explanation. However, I have to precise that I enjoy the kettelbells: perfectly made, great design, cool and wonderful... The problem is the service! I know the difficulties of a starting little business, I know the covid situation. I was ready to wait for get it. OK. But take the money in pre-order and don't respond at the phone, or mails, don't give any message for several months is unacceptable and clearly a business-suicide! In addition, when the named Igor took the place of Colin for communication, the relationships became... cold and hard, without a minimum of comprehension that a customer needs some confident! While these months to wait, I received many different offers, 20, 30 or/and 40%, some for thanks my patience. At the end, Igor said (abruptly) that these discounts were canceled, even if some were "guaranteed" available until the end of the year (2020)! Pre-ordered $1500 worth of gym equipment on July 12, 2020, with the understanding that I wouldn't see my delivery until late-August, early Sept. Delays all around due to pandemic, no big deal. Still, Sept. comes and goes with no order. On Oct. 30th, still no delivery. I wrote, and they said they were still waiting on the 2.5 lbs plates to send me my entire set. I asked them to send everything else now and send the 2.5's later...I am happy to cover the extra shipping charge if needed. However, it is now Nov. 24th, and I still have not received my order, and Colin has not responded to my request to send the equipment that supposedly *is* in the warehouse (i.e. 90% of my order) that I have been waiting 4 1/2 months for. I've bought several bells, a steel club, and have some dumbbells on the way from GLG. Even with shipping factored in the price and quality has surpassed what I could find locally. The shipping on each order has been 2-3 business days and the packaging has been super sturdy. The only thing that would make me happier as a consumer would be if the products were made in Canada, but beyond that I have no complaints and will happily keep supporting this company. read more

I pre-ordered a set of cast iron plates consisting of a pair of 35's, 25's and 10's on October 22, 2020. When I ordered these weights, I was told that my order could take up to 5 months to be fulfilled due to the high demand. Less than 5 months later, my order has been fulfilled as I picked up my weights today February 16, 2021. These weights are exactly as advertised, and although I had to keep track of the order myself, and keep checking to see when they would be available, Igor was nothing if not transparent and responsive with any question that I had about my order. I even arrived to pick up the weights an hour before my scheduled appointment and Igor happily served me early. I could not be happier with the service I received, especially after reading a few negative reviews while waiting for my order to be finalized. read more
