I had wanted stiletto, frosted, nails with wavy black at the tips and when I first got in I had to wait an hour for the person to even come do my nails even though there were two people able to do them. When the man had finally done them He gave me sharp almond, transparent nails that showed my natural nails and there were smears all along the black lines. The black lines were supposed to end mid nail, covering the natural nail but ended at my natural nail which made them look black and disgusting. read more

Great Nails was able to get me in with very little wait even though they had customers in just about every chair. Sam was awesome! He gave me a perfect dip mani and I was out in under 45 mins. And if you don't understand the subject get somebody that does. it's Called getting your moneys worth since everything is gone up in prices. Don't disrespect the people that come in and give you business and pay good tips. # 1 stay off your cell phones when with customers and have respect and talk English in stead of gossiping in your language to co workers. Terrible experience I've been here 3 times and last 2 were ok last time I had a lady doing my eyebrows and was super calm nice and did great so I came back and ask for her but this time she was in such a hurry didn't want to take time doing my pedicure and my eyebrows this time were NOT OK leaving hair everywhere I came back today and ask the guy upfront to fix my toes because they were still hurting meaning the lady didn't trim my nails correctly and were hurting he said if it was hurting for me to go the doctor really ?? I have been going to Great Nails for years. The lady who did my pedi was great. The man that did my nails did a horrible job. I have had him before and he is rough and will hurt you and just look at you. I paid for a wedding party to get mani-pedis and my daughter in law told me that this man was hurting her and she was afraid on getting an infection. He did not use any cuticle tools on my fingers. Before polishing there was lots of cuticle all over my fingers ...I guess he thought the oil would fix it. Thsee nails will not last as they are separated at the tips. Had an appt for the Saturday before Mother's day and was running a couple minutes behind. The salon called me to check that I was still coming. I liked that because if I was a walk-in and an appt was a no-show, they would be able to fit me in. This is my 3rd time here and it is consistently clean and well organized. I get a shellac pedi and it lasts for a very long time. There are many choices on the menu for you to expand your service and really care for yourself My daughter smudged her toes when she was in the drying area. Although they were super busy, someone came over right away and fixed them for her. Although, there is nothing they can do, there were a few kids there that were completely out of control. I realize it is the mothers but, you could tell it was rattling the staff not to mention the ladies that were there for for Mother's day pampering. I wish that they would have addressed it but, realize these days, you don't know who you are dealing with and also, you risk them writing a bad review on social media for their lack of parenting. My daughter also had her brows done and they look great and it was done in a timely matter. I will definitely use this place for my pedi's and maybe just avoid a time before a holiday or a weekend. read more

But when it came to the pedicure, I got this grumpy lady that treated me like I was a distraction to her lengthy conversation with the pedicurist next to her. I got an expensive spa treatment that just got done in a who cares kind of a way. Then, when it came to the gel polish I picked, she applied too much of an enhancer called chrome, and it was turning silver. I stopped her and told her that wasn't the color with the enhancement I picked. She got really nasty. But I stuck to my choice and finally got the color done the way I originally asked. The second she was done, there was no nicities, no thank you, nothing. She just shot up out of the stool and disappeared in the back. Horrible experience. And not the first time. She told me that she is not a doctor. My response was no you're not a doctor but, you claim to be a nail tech. I have never been so shocked at a nail salon! I took my 7 year old daughter and myself here tonight since our usual place was closed. They didn't tell me any prices beforehand and I didn't ask. I definitely should have and that's my fault but I honestly assumed it would be about normal with any other place we have been to. I was SO WRONG! I asked for dip powder on my natural nails and gel for her fingers and gel for her toes. They did not do the pattern of colors that my daughter wanted and when I went to pay, I was told it was $130!!! WHAT?! They charged me $48 for my dip powder nails, $45 for her gel toes and $37 for her gel fingers. I asked if they offer a discount for kids and they said that WAS with the discount! WHAT?! They also never told me that if my daughter wanted more than two colors, it would cost an additional $5 for her toes and $5 for her fingers. She has tiny fingers and toes and they didn't do a full pedicure or manicure or anything! I don't understand. I am very upset. That is so much money and I just wanted to have a little girl time with my girl. read more

My last few times at this nail salon were amazing. Such a great experience with Kim! And Johnny did my daughters nails excellent. But this past visit I was a little sad and disappointed. I got a pedicure and Gel manicure this time. I felt it was a very rushed pedicure and the water was cold. But I dealt with it because I knew what a great job they did. But when it came time for the gel manicure instead of removing with polish and foil remover the man that was doing my nails while seated in pedicure station still removed it with the electric file which burned my nail bed. Also filed my nails so uneven as well as my gel polish was bubbling and polish left on the cuticle part with nail polish on my skin as well. I never the type to write a review but this time was horrible. It was a very bad experience and made for a ruff day. While I really enjoyed my mani/pedi I didn't quite have a great experience. I was worked on by two people at the same time which made it a little hard to relax. The man who did my nails filed/grinded across my cuticles several times which hurt and only worked from one side having me reach across which was uncomfortable. I would've preferred my nails longer but they look very natural and I'm happy with them. Both individuals who worked on me were super nice and friendly, however I'm not sure that the clippers used on my feet were sanitary; I ended up with an infection in two of my toes two days later. I went yesterday to get a pedicure and a SNS dip manicure. I was given a lady who did not introduce herself, and you'll see below why it's probably for the best. I will never come back to this place, and I will unfortunately have to pay someone else who knows what they're doing to fix it...ONCE MY SKIN HAS HEALED. My pedicure went ok. There were some times that I felt some pain during cuticle trimming, but I'm not worried about it. Yet. Then came my manicure. I picked a nude color, and on the sample chart it was opaque. I sat down, and the nail tech didn't speak to me. She trimmed my cuticles painfully, and too far back. They are actual cuts made by her cuticle scissors now. By the time it was done, the SNS looked like a dirty pink shell over my nails, like unfinished acrylic. You could still see my nail underneath, as if the dip was transparent. I was willing to call it a wash and just cut my losses, but my mother in law saw that I was unhappy and demanded something be done to fix it. I was offered a gel overlay on top of the SNS, and I chose a color that the SNS should have been. I kid you not, I have been doing my own gel polish for years and I could have closed my eyes and done a better job. To top it off, I was there 3 hours. They weren't busy. They weren't slammed. They had a steady trickle of customers, but three hours is ridiculous. I FINALLY get home, and my pedicure (which has been drying for 2+ hours before I walked out of the salon) has been smudged, and I realized she trimmed my toenail into a hangnail! I personally am upset that I left having paid for this mess at all, and if this review saves a single person from making the same mistake as I did, it's worth it. Save your money. My experience here was not pleasant at all. I came in to get a gel set and it took over an hour and a half!! I have never had a manicure take so long and the man was so rough. He hurt my hands and took his time doing every little thing. Also very over priced I payed almost 60 dollars and I was not happy with the results either. The shapes were not symmetrical and the design I asked for did not turn out good either, for what I got, and how much time it took it should not have been more than 45$. DO NOT GO!! I must say I am quite disappointed. This was my 3rd time coming. The first time I did a French mani with a powder tip and was charged $65! Second was the same exact thing with a different color and I was charged $45 not to bad. Well, today I went in for a pamper and did the same thing. French tip with color powder tips, medium length and almond shape. I left with short, oval nails. When I told the tech that he cut them too short I was ignored. I tried calling to talk to the manager and he claims I did not say anything however I said and even showed pictures of the length I normally do. He still says I did not say they were too short. I only stopped in for an eyebrow wax. I generally will give a place 10 minutes to get to me and if they don't within the 10 minutes then I'll walk out and try somewhere else. Fortunately most places get to me (and Great Nails did) within 10 minutes and so I rarely have to walk out. They did a good job. I was in and out quickly. I would be willing to try them out and have my nails done here or come back for an eyebrow wax. The reason for the 4 stars is the price of the eyebrow wax. The place I usually go is only $8 and not $10 (price at Great Nails). I needed it done that day and didn't have time to go to my usual place, so I didn't mind the extra $2 expense. read more

I have been to this place a few times before with good results, when I had my eyebrows and lip waxed. This last time I was burned. I didn't realize it until later how bad it was. I was leaving out of town so I was not able to go back to complain. I'm not sure if I would be understood even if I did. She was having a difficult time communicating with me as it was. This place is not "Great". I went to get my nails done on 12/17, I got dip nails with a tip, nothing too fancy. I got seated right away which was nice but the tech I had wasn't friendly at all. She seemed annoyed and when I would pull my arm back a little to rest, she pulled it back aggressively. I wished I got her name but I didn't care as I already knew I wouldn't be returning. After she finished she charged my $68! After leaving I felt like that was way too much, I usually paid $50 for something like that. I called and asked about their pricing and the person on the phone said I should've been charged $55 and to return back to the salon. I went back and the guys started saying that they charge more for that shape I got, which was oval. There's nothing too fancy about that!! I was over it and left. Now here we are, two days later and one of my nails already split in half. TWO DAYS LATER!! Obviously very cheaply made. I will never be returning. Basic manicure sucks. When they say basic, they mean basic. No arm or shoulder massage option. Our pedicures were okay. Water was cold and the massage could of been much better. They have tons of polishes to choose from. I don't get manicures here but I do get pedicures. They have lots of workers here so I can usually walk in whenever I want. The pedicures feel great. There are two negatives that I experience every time I come in. The first one is that the massage chairs never freakin work right. You either get a chair that shakes the crap outta you with your boobs bouncing around so much it's almost something you should charge for-or you get a chair that only moves up and down your back so slow it's painful and it makes you wish your boobs would just bounce again! The second downside is that the water smells like doodoo often, straight up dookie just took a crap and it's overflowing. The soaps that they use for the pedi you choose help a bit but it's still an inevitable scent you will get a whiff of. Overall, I can deal with the crap chairs and the caca smell because I really like the massages and color availability...and maybe a little bit of the boob bounce action. ‍ read more
