Ordered beef with broccoli from Great Wall after a long absence. Found the food to be much better than in the past. It was less sweet than previous orders have been and had a rich flavorful brown sauce. Overall exceptionally good. Complements to the chef. read more

Glad to have a good neighborhood Chinese spot nearby. They have actual pork fried rice here.. not sure what's up with the ham fried rice thing most of the other Chinese restaurants around here serve but glad to see they do it right here, in my opinion. usually it is great. food delivered hot and fast. today we ordered sweet and sour shrimp and NONE of the shrimp were deveined. cut into them and poop went everywhere . I called because I thought this had to be a mistake. normally the staff is very friendly but the girl I spoke with said they always devein. she needed to get owner and proceeded not put me on hold and tell the owner "she says we didn't take the poop out of the shrimp." Then owner said to me, we don't devein sweet and sour shrimp because there are to many. so gross! read more

Just so you guys know on the menu it says "we do not have a online menu" so don't be complaining when you are at Great Wall and it is different prices then what you see online. Very good food worth the money you should have a stop by and try some of the food. Very clean and nice they redid the floor and the counters. Best pork egg fu yung I've had in years. Came to the store and made a take out order. Was out the door in less than 10 minutes. My son ordered chicken lo mein and said it was amazing. Egg rolls were cooked perfectly and reminded me of egg rolls I used to get in Boston years ago. I found Great Wall accidentally when I was looking for Dunkin Donuts. This will be my new go to restaurant for football and movie nights. read more

I've only had the fried rice here and based on that alone, I figures their entrees had to be darn good as well. Boy was I wrong. I got the idea to have Chinese one day after reading up on egg foo young recipes online and one thing lead to the other. They do offer egg foo young but the husband opted for General Tso Chicken and I went for the shrimp with black bean sauce. Both entrees were terrible. The chickens coating was mushy, the sauce was flavorless and the meat was overcooked. My shrimp had a very runny sauce that barely covered the vegetables and the 5 shrimps I found way down the bottom of the bowl. Their egg rolls have no seasoning, the hot and sour soup is so heavily ladened with corn starch it practically jiggles. We ended up throwing out everything after a few bites. I gave this one star because that is the least I can give. This was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Never, ever, order from these folks. I ordered for delivery. Ordered egg rolls. For the first time in, what? Thirty years? There was no Chinese mustard. When I called about it I was told that I had to ask for it specifically. Really? When I told them I have never had to do that anywhere, at anytime,Their response was that they would make it right NEXT TIME if I asked for it. When I said there would be no next time, instead of trying to make it right they said "okay". I sat down to dinner with my grown daughter who had ordered the sesame chicken. It was cold and stuck together. My mongolian beef was cold and tasteless. I called and spoke to the owner and he told me he couldn't promise me they could get anything sooner than 45 minutes. I live 3 minutes from them! I explained to him that I was new in the community and this was my first experience with them and he reiterated than he couldn't promise to do anything earlier. Nasty. Got takeout from here. General's chicken. Ate some, seemed ok, ate some more, then I noticed a piece smelled like shimp. Thought they accidentally tossed in a piece of shrimp. Nope. It was a very spoiled piece of chicken. Ick! Threw it away and never went back. read more

Have ordered many times over the past few years for delivery and it seemed to godown hill for awhile but tonight it was fantastic like it was in the past.
