We were feeling lazy after a long weekend and got takeout for dinner. I ordered ahead and when I arrived 20 minutes later, the food was there waiting for me still hot and smelling delicious. Everything was packaged neatly and there weren't any casualties on the way home. A lot of takeout places will haphazardly throw stuff in your bag and leave you with a mess to clean when you open the bag, but not this place. The food tasted great and we only had one issue, the rice in our fried rice was undercooked and had a noticeable crunch when bitting into it. We also got the kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, and lo mein. These were all good, but the beef in the Mongolian beef lacked flavor. They try to put their own spin on the dishes they serve and it makes for a delicious meal. Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the area and craving some solid Chinese. read more

Came by here the other day for some boneless short ribs! They were yummy! I haven't been a big fan of the Chinese food out here in Tennessee. It's much different than the Chinese food in California and China for that matter, but I did enjoy the boneless ribs very much read more

Food was sub par. 6 tiny pieces of chicken in the lunch portion of hunan chicken which should have been spicy and it was not. fried rice was watery I suspect it was white rice with just soy sauce. Vegetables we way overcooked. read more

I had a hankering for some Chinese food when I was in Murfreesboro. The Great Wall had some of the best reviews of chinese restaurants in the area, so I was super excited to give it a try. The place itself is very minimal and tidy Small seating area with about four tables. We ordered the Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, and Crab Rangoon. We were served within 15 minutes. And portion sizes were generous. I'm giving this two stars. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place. The food was just, lackluster. Also service could be better. They forgot about someone's order who came in before us, and she sat there about 30 minutes as a result. read more

Not the best I've ever eaten but not bad. Service is fast. They are doing well to keep any passing of germs between themselves and customers. Not bad on prices and quantity. Best Chinese food we've found here so far. The food is made to order and not at all greasy. Love the plain lo mein and sweet and sour shrimp it's very heavy on the breading so I prefer the fried shrimp instead much better for my taste. My husband loves the hunan options. The food is good but they have trouble with reading. For some reason getting sesame chicken even though they offer it is a problem. Two orders and both times they brought sweet and sour sauce and a carton of fried chicken dry. Good food but idiots running the place. read more

This little place surprised me. Since moving to the north side of Murfreesboro, I have been on the look out for a great take out place. While out exploring the local neighborhoods, we ran across this place. Not knowing what to expect, we ordered the basic sesame chicken with noodles and an order of sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. The meal was cooked thoroughly. The sweet and sour chicken had a nice toast to them, the noodles were not drenching in oil, and the sesame chicken was cut in great proportionate sizes. If you live off of Memorial, make the call to Great Wall. It is worth the extra miles to Walter Hill. read more
