Everyone was polite and professional from the initial visit in the store to the installation. Joy was knowledgeable about the products we were interested in and was able to give us estimated pricing, comparable to other businesses, before we left the store. The measuring of the replacement areas took less than 15 minutes, and the carpet arrived at the warehouse in the timeline given. We were able to set up an installation date that worked best for us, giving us time to clear out the rooms of all but the basic furniture. Guy and his assistant were polite, organized, clean, and efficient. They were very careful around newly painted wall and quickly moved furniture back to their original rooms after the installation. They installed the carpeting the day of the big storm in Aug. 26, working through the storm...they were wonderful. They left several pieces of extra carpeting to be bound later as area rugs. We are very pleased with the new carpeting. I would absolutely recommend Lowell Carpeting and Coverings.

When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

I was warned by multiple people who knew this person/CO of his bad habits but due to another party involved in he was hired to do a huge project in our house. he was multiple hours late everyday, if he even showed,. would work for 30 mins tops when he actually did show up and then leave for 4-6 hours and try and come back late night. very concerning and scary especially with a family and children around. following him getting fired multiple contractors and even trusted family /friends all said the same thing which was they would have to demo/redo 3out of the 4 things he actually did do in the 7 day he "worked" at my home. I hate leaving such a bad review but It was the worst experience I have ever been through.
