Hi All, My DJ was…read moreawful and I feel the need to share my experience so that no other bride has to go through what I have. Here is my review of All Event Entertainment based out of Rome NY. They have lots of 5 star reviews which I thought was a good thing but I was naive, they must scrub all bad reviews. Review: It appears that Eric and Greg have a lot of 5 star reviews but I need to come on here to share a different experience. I was very unhappy with the service that they provided and so were my guests. Below are a few things that were off putting and disappointing about all event entertainment. 1. I was asked why I wasn't changing my last name, and then Eric tried to bro out with my soon to be husband after I said I am a strong independent women with a publication record who wanted to keep my own name. My now husband shrugged it off but I found it offensive. 2. Regarding the night of our wedding, someone showed up who I never talked to before after being told Eric would be there. Greg corresponded directly with me (the bride) several times. This wouldn't have been a problem if he didn't try to leave an hour earlier than he was contracted to do so. I told him he was contracted to be there until ten and he asked to see a copy of the contract. I had to leave my own reception to go get it. He accused me of changing the time on the contract and honestly ruined the last part of my night. Our best man threw money at the situation which I was opposed to. They have offered to refund this money, while at the same time denying that they received anything from him. 3. This company talks a big game but was honestly the only thing wrong with my wedding day. I would feel sad to not warn future brides about this possibility. They will not play top hits, they will not "keep the party going". They will change genres quickly and play extremely loud poorly chosen elevator music all during dinner. 4. Please be aware that a company with mostly 5 star reviews is something that deserves a closer look. They have been rude, they have lied, and been extremely unprofessional. I want to start by saying that I truly enjoyed my planning process with Charmaine. She was quick to…read morerespond, educated on which flowers would be in season & would look the best, and had tips/tricks about setting up decorations at my venue since she had previously worked with them. However, on the wedding day, the flowers and bouquets that were delivered were NOT the flowers that had been discussed for months leading up to the big day. Our color scheme was whites and blues, but on wedding day, we were given purple flowers and zero blue hydrangeas within the bouquets and decorative pieces. The arrangements were beautiful, but not the color scheme we asked for and talked about which was very disappointing. In addition, I collected bud vases (to match my style) to use as centerpieces. There are multiple back-and-forth conversations with Charmaine about the quantity of vases she thought I would need for each table, and that I was thrifting my own. The team took it upon themselves to switch out mine for their own without consulting me first - on the morning of our wedding! I received a text message from Charmaine after her team had already left the venue, as I was getting my hair and makeup done, of the changes her team decided upon without speaking to me first. Because of this, my bridesmaids and my venue had to take extra time to switch things back to the way we had originally set them up - taking away time for my girls to get ready, and adding unnecessary stress to us all. Although the centerpieces could be switched back, there was nothing any of us could do about the fact that we had the wrong flowers. I reached out to Charmaine after my wedding to let her know that while her flowers were beautiful, they were not what we spoke about and I was disappointed with the result - I have not gotten a response back.

The order was placed via a popular on-line flower company, and fulfilled by a florist in Mattydale, NY. The flowers received from that Mattydale Florist were dead in just a few days. Here comes Affections Floral to the rescue. They are part of Debrucque Greenhouses in Canastota, NY. The Mattydale florist wouldn't stand behind their product, so the online flower company hired Affections to redeliver the order. The flowers Affections brought were incredible. Not only did they look fresher, the arrangement was very nice. The Mattydale flowers were effectively 100 roses in a small vase, with no "flair". The Affections order had nice greens, holly flowers for Christmas, and even a nice big bow on it. The Affections flowers made a huge statement - which is just what I was looking for for our anniversary. I would definitely do business with them again.

Adam was the best DJ I could've ever asked for, for our wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone for their weddings, small bouquets and anything in between.

I'm very disappointed with my experience with Krysta, the owner of Lace Leaf Co. I chose Lace Leaf Co because Krysta seemed very enthusiastic and appeared to understand my vision for my wedding before I paid the deposit. She advised that she would also check in periodically before the final decisions needed to be made. She never checked in and I attempted to check in myself at the 6 month mark and let her know that I had chosen my colors. She ignored my email. As a bride I felt uncomfortable with the lack of communication for such an important event. I explained this to her but she refused to refund the $550 despite the fact that she had put zero effort into my wedding so far. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.
