Extremely rude. Hard to understand the cashier. He acted as though I annoyed him when I had to ask him to repeat himself. I asked him if I could get some chop sticks. He reached under the counter and through it into my bag and turned around to talk an employee. I was the only customer in the restaurant. No where near like the previous owners. Someone told me they had great Chinese food which to me it was okay. I honestly thought there cream cheese wontons were the best thing I ordered but then again I only had their shrimp With Chinese veggies with white sauce not the brown. I've eaten this same dish at several Chinese restaurants and this is by far the bottom of the list. I would try Other things on the menu just out of curiosity. I love this place! I have had a hard time finding a Chinese place that serves good food in the past, but I love this spot! The noodles and rice are good, the crab Rangoon is sweet, the egg rolls are crispy and the food is ALWAYS right and is always HOT! The service is good and staff are always nice. Very disappointed. Went in at 8:00 pm because we were starving and nobody would answer the phone for our takeout order. Stood in line a fairly long time only to have the girl behind the counter tell us in our faces that they were closed. The posted hours are open until 10:30 pm. Not impressed. read more

By far the best takeout Chinese food in the area!!! We love it! My favorite is the chicken and broccoli and egg rolls!

The first time I ate here I wasn't impressed but they redeemed themselves. Don't get me wrong this is not what you'd get in NY, DC or SFO but it hits the spot if you are jonesin' for Chinese. The chicken with broccoli, beef with broccoli and shrimp fried rice are my favorites. The staff is friendly and they seem to have lots of loyal customers. Whenever I go in there I hear the employees chit-chat with customers like they know each other. The food is always ready for me when I call ahead. If I place the order inside it takes just a few minutes until it's ready and I am out the door. I'll keep coming back. read more

Food is maybe a 3 on a good day but giving the 1 star due to the service. Staff is very rude. I had an issue with my order and they all of sudden acted like they barely understood English. Then claimed they couldn't do anything about it because they closed in 5 minutes. Which was a complete lie there posted hours said they didn't close for another 2 hours! Gave them a couple chances before but this particular time was the last straw. I would recommend Lee's. read more

The food gets 2.5 stars. It wasn't good, but it wasn't disgusting. A huge turn off was the air vent covered in mold and dripping onto a table customers are supposed to eat at. Customer service needs work. No greeting or even a smile. Got the vibe that they just wanted us out of there. Stopped on a whim on my way home just so I wouldn't have to cook after a long day! Well this was one whim that paid off!!! My 2 favorite things from a Chinese restaurant are steamed dumplings and soup if they do those 2 well I will be back! Well I will be back!!! They were so awesome!!! And best of all I asked about something not on the menu and, mooshu, and they made it for me!!! My husband was so happy with the quality of the food and how hot it stayed on the way home!! This was not the best Chinese I've ever had...or the worst. It was ok. The lo mein didn't have much flavor. The crab Rangoon was good but didn't have a lot of filling in each piece. The General Tso's chicken was the best dish we ate. The egg rolls were really good too actually. The price was definitely right though...only $20 for all of that! This is Ozark, AL NOT SF OR NY, so let's not be snobby, okay The food here is outstanding and they have never got a call in order wrong, one bit. I enjoy the food. I don't live in Ozark any longer but my husband does, partime, and when he coms downs here he brings me food from the Great Wall. Lots of Oriental restaurants here as well as a few Japanese steakhouses, but give me Great Wall any day. I would like to add that the prices are quite reasonable. read more

I prefer my hometowns Chinese food over this crap here in Houston any day! I really loved their sesame seed chicken and rice and their food was always hot and NEVER cold!! They had real cooks and nobody out of the ordinary to cook up such great food that tasted really rich and like classic Chinese! It was also family owned and they were really from china which made it better because they had practiced and trained to cook REAL chinese food. Either way i loved it Nobody else compares! This is an edited part, how could I just give it four stars, when clearly it deserves FIVE?!? must have been a bad mistake, I love this restaurant from the bottom of my heart, they serve good food here, they put a lot of effort in what they do here, it's better than any Chinese restaurant I've been to unless they were here in Alabama. read more
