We had never worked with an interior designer before, but we knew an expert's assistance would be helpful given the amount of furniture and other decorating assistance we needed. Ali was a great listener and developed a vision for the house that fit both our lifestyle and tastes. She introduced us to pieces and patterns beyond those we would have found on our own. For each room, she provided multiple choices for furniture, patterns, rugs, etc.--at various price points and styles--and made sure that we could mix and match the different pieces while maintaining the overall vision for the room. In addition to her aesthetic talents, Ali was a huge help with logistics--placing orders, securing samples, and staying on top of suppliers and vendors. With the ongoing supply delays due to the pandemic, Ali kept us up to date as shipping and delivery dates changed. I've had the blinds for four years and only pull them in the summer months to block the sun. Within the first year the edges began to fray. I was hoping it was just a few loose threads and that the fraying would stop, but over the four summers the fraying has gotten worse and has become unsightly. They would not repair or replace them as apparently the "lifetime warranty" does not cover the materials used to make the blinds.

When the curtains arrived the curtains for one of the windows was missing. The installer came without some of the parts he needed. He also did not know how to measure the height of the rods. He kept putting holes in the wall when he had to move the rods up because he didn't know where to put the rods. The blackout curtains don't darken the room because there is a 12 inch gap between the wall and the curtains. They put in cheap rods. There is no privacy and light comes into the room. They should have used blackout curtain rods that are made for blackout curtains. Once the curtains were reordered and ready to be installed the installer never showed up and didn't call to reschedule. I am so disappointed in this company.

But in the end I realized that Chris had it right from the beginning. My living room and dining room space look distinctive and high style. His firm designed and manufactured customized leather love seats for my undersized living room. The love seats are gorgeous and so high quality. They were expensive but worth every single penny. There were some glitches in the project. I felt that the firm could be more transparent about the cost of ordering items through them versus ordering them yourself. It will save time and grief to order through them but it will cost you more money upfront. This cost is totally worth the convenience and, in retrospect, I would have paid it. But for cost conscious clients the firm should be upfront about that additional cost. Overall, I LOVE the design Zoltan executed for my project. I would use the firm again in a heartbeat. If you are looking for design on the cheap, Zoltan is def not for you. For distinctive, high quality design, Zoltan is an amazing partner for your project.
