This newly opened cafe is the second Greek option in West Linn if you include Angelina's Greek Gyros food cart across town. The dining area is comfortable and I enjoyed friendly table service, but I have a quibble with the pricing. My comparisons are Grab a Gyro in Tualatin and Angelina's at the Willamette Garage for my regular order, a lamb gyro. Grab a Gyro is a couple dollars less and lets you add a sauce (spicy garlic) and includes feta for no extra charge. At Greek Bites, the Lamb Gyro starts at $12 and the spicy garlic sauce and feta would each add a dollar. That being said it was a delicious gyro piled with meat and ended up being two delicious meals. Perusing the Greek Bites menu, I didn't see a children's menu and perhaps there is an opportunity to have a less expensive 1/2 portion (similar to Angelina's that has three size options) for younger diners and those that would prefer a smaller serving. read more

Tried the chicken shawarma here and I can confidently say--it's the best I've had! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. You can tell they care about quality and consistency. The place is always busy and buzzing with people, which says a lot about how good their food is. Even with the crowd, service is efficient and the vibe is energetic. Best Lebanese/Greek/Mediterranean food around here! The Shwarma is always awesome. The Gyro is delicious. The Gyros are packed to the hilt! And it's so good, our kids that wouldn't normally eat eggplant... LOVE their Baba Ghanoush. Definitely give this place a try if you haven't been here yet. Both were incredible and had different marinates. The owner just finished baking fresh Baklava with goat cheese, honey, and rose water. Also had the loaded fries with feta and oregano. So good. We discovered this restaurant last week thanks to a Yelp email spotlighting new restaurants in our area. I have to say we were very happy with it and we will be back. The service was very good and I was pleasantly surprised that it was table service and not counter service. My wife had the Greek Salad on a pita - she said the Greek dressing was perfect . I had the lamb gyro with spicy garlic sauce added. Very good! We shared a large order of spicy hummus which was outstanding. The pickles with the gyro were also a nice touch. We recently had dinner here and really enjoyed everything on our plates. Unlike many of these Greek/Mediterranean spots, this one does not overly salt their food or use an abundance of artificial flavor additives. The food was prepared restaurant-style, not fast-food style. The seasonings were spot on and all meats were tender and cooked well. We both ordered the Great Greek plate that included 3 souvlaki skewers ( Chicken, lamb, veggie), a kofta patty, a flavorful, buttery rice, pita, and a Greek salad. It also came with 3 sauces including garlic, tahini and tzatziki. Needless to say, we had enough leftover for another whole meal. The restaurant is small but cozy and comfortable for relaxing. I stopped in here today for the first time. Owners Inas and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful. Inas was gracious enough to share their guest wifi password with me, which allowed me to talk with my wife on my laptop as I ate. I not only had a great meal, I felt I made new friends I will enjoy visiting again. For lunch I had a lamb gyro, with baklava for dessert. It was the best gyro and baklava I have ever had in my life. The sandwich was generous, with delicious seasoning and ingredients. The iced tea had mint in it, which added to the experience. I was so amazed by the quality of the food that I ordered hummus and tabouli to go--also more baklava! The ambiance was well lit, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing, with subtle Greek designs reminding me of the Hellenistic age. I strongly feel that Greek Bites is making West Linn a better place, and I know for a fact that I will be back there soon. Great food, great people, great place! This was a pleasant find that has yet to disappoint me. Yes, they tend to be on the pricey side but the old saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies. The Greek Bites version of a value meal would be the lamb gyro. It has "generous" in the description and I can vouch for that! It is 3-4 dollars less than other gyros but have at least 50% more meat, I had to consume some of the meat before I could fold-n-eat, and still the pita tore to the dimensional stresses. The lamb souvlaki I highly recommend, in full disclosure it does fluctuate though. It can be fall apart, melt good or you may have to chew it. The kafta is my new go-to, admittedly I have no reference point for kafta since this is the first and only place I've had it. If it's wrong, it tastes oh so right. The tropical rolls....yes please. Imagine an egg roll but with cheeses instead. The rice pudding, uh huh, who doesn't like rice pudding. My only disappointment, $4.50 for a can of sprite......really? read more
