I have NEVER had a bad experience. The portions are HUGE, especially considering their prices are very fair and cheap. You can also build up points when you place orders online and they add up fast. In the last 3.5 years I cant even count how many times my meals were $5-10 off. They are never packed so service is always super quick. So glad we went with the lunch special gyro sandwich with fries, as it was one of the best, with an agreeable portion of roasted lamb from the spit. It came with a generous portion of fries. I ordered a side of rice, and after tasting it, kinda wished I didn't. It was similar to a rice-a-roni pilaf, but with a very fragrant flavor. Didn't care for the consistency or taste. This place is great. I love a good Gyro platter. I got the chicken platter and it is a lot of food! However, of course I ate it all. This is definitely one of the better chicken platters I have had in Nashville. It is not just plain chicken grilled but it also has onions and peppers grilled with it which provides so much more flavor. Great spot. Bright green, beautiful, and fresh Tabouli salad, hummus, a little olive a little feta, and everything else!!!! Pita is warm, dredging in through the hummus, grabbed a bite of the piping hot falafel, filled my fork. As much as I could pack on my fork of Greek yellow rice and tabouli, then grabbed a crispy edge of falafel to dunk in the tzatziki sauces. Don't waste your money on grocery store tabouli, or grocery store falafel. Get the real thing. There is no comparison. Go. Get yourself a yummy belly-full! Quick casual Greek restaurant with seating inside and a small patio out front. We ordered the Cafe Veggie sampler plate to share. The person taking our order was very friendly and welcomed us in. He let me substitute baba ganoush for the hummus on the platter. It was served with falafel, pita bread, the baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves and tzatziki sauce. A generous side of tabouli also was included. We were hoping for Greek coffee but they only had fountain drinks. We decided to share a piece of baklava anyway sans coffee. Me: Next to the chicken on the menu it says (low carb) on the menu. Cashier: The chicken is grilled. That's why. Me: Does that mean that the other meats have carbs in them? Cashier: Which one? Me: The lamb and beef shawarma. Cashier: (Very aggravated and defensive) I don't know!! It comes in a box! Me: Can you check with one of them? (There were two guys standing there.) He asks them and they don't know either. I wouldn't have even thought to ask if the shawarma had carbs in it if I hadn't seen "low carb" next to the chicken. It made me wonder if additives or fillers were added to make it not plain meat. Really, if he hadn't gotten so huffy puffy, I'd probably still go back here but that made me feel uncomfortable and there was no reason for his reaction. Believe me, I was very polite and calm. This place has the same menu as most every fast casual Greek Gyro joints I've been to, but everything I've had so far has been executed perfectly. The gyro meat has a little char to it that other places don't do. The chicken is tender and delicious. The salad is fresh and the tabouleh is terrific. It is no secret that I'm a fan of Greek Cafe. When I saw we had a location popping up in Bellevue I may have been a bit too excited. I have frequented their Brentwood and Franklin locations in the past. Everything I have tasted from here has been delicious. I usually get the gyro platter or the mixed grill. The gyro meat is seasoned so perfectly, and their grilled chicken is full of flavor and never dry. Their tabbouleh is some of the best in town, so make sure to grab a side of it with your meal. Also, they throw your pita on the grill to warm it up, which I truly appreciate because microwaved pita just doesn't cut it. Located in the shopping center with Five Guys and Red, it is conveniently on my way to and from work every day. I am seeing lots of delicious lunches from them in my future. read more

Every time I'm in Bellevue Tennessee I always look forward to go into the Bellevue diner which is owned by a Greekk and always great Greek food. Today however To my great disappointment, I found that this restaurant has closed permanently. Being that I already had my mouth set for some good Greek food, I was pleased to find the Greek Cafe only a very short distance from the Bellevue diner so I decided to give it a try. It is the sort of place that tries to do fast mediterranean food and typically not necessarily all that well. the hummus is very disappointing as is the baba ghanoush, the tabouli is very stemmy... lots of parsley stems, otherwise done well. The Falafel was ok, Easily the best thing on the plate ( i had a sampler plate). To be fair , I've never been into a fast Greek food restaurant that was not a disappointment... some thing's just can't be rushed. I don't think our return but today it was an OK find. read more
