    Chicken kabob plate.

We had a res at another place that couldn't seat us, so we took a flyer on Osh. So glad we did! We walked in on a Sat nite without a res and were seated quickly. They brought us water and warm flatbread with labneh. It was a great way to start the evening. Our server recommended the lamb dumplings and the chicken kabob. We ordered that plus the Uzbek bread and a lamb sambosa. The sambosa was delicious; flaky dough and minced well spiced lamb. The chicken kabob was delectable; tender, well spiced, and served with sumac onions and other accompaniments. The lamb dumplings (think big manti or momos) were fantastic; again, well spiced lamb and tender dough, served with a really lovely yogurt sauce. Service was fast and friendly. We paid about $80 Inc tip for this feast. Highly recommended; give Uzbek food a try!

The food at Osh is always fantastic. While we miss the original owner, we found the pelmeni and chuchvara to be better than before. The chuchvara is perfectly crunchy and well seasoned (pro tip, let each dumpling breathe a bit or the middle my scald your mouth...

I had heard that OSH was a fantastic restaurant and I had been meaning to try it for some time, especially as my family and I had never had Uzbek food. My family and I were able to visit at the end of January and it definitely lives up to its reputation! We came here on a Saturday night and were able to get a table for the 5 of us. We started our meal with Uzbek bread and a plate of suzma, hummus, and ikra with pita; the Uzbek bread was fluffy and delicious and the suzma had a lovely tangy taste to it that reminded us of a good Greek yogurt. The hummus was very tasty as well and it was nice to try the ikra, but it wasn't our favorite. Several of our party had the OSH and they really liked it and my wife and I had the lamb kebab and it was absolutely delicious; it was seasoned well and cooked well and it paired well with the sauces and grilled vegetables. We finished our meal with the kunefe, which is a favorite of mine, and everything was just super delicious overall. OSH is a wonderful family-owned restaurant and while it's located in an unassuming little strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside, it's 100% worth a visit and definitely one of the best restaurants in Nashville. It's a new favorite of ours and we'll definitely be back!

First time ever trying OSH & everything was amazing, I can't wait to be back already! I wanted to try a little of everything so I started by ordering a bunch of appetizers all pictured below and every dish left me wanting more. For my main dish I went with the Chuchvara Shurpa soup and clearly it was a hit the meat dumplings along with the meat in the broth were full of flavor. The inside is beautifully well kept and the service was attentive & hospitable.

This place was AWESOME!!! The flavor was exquisite, and service was fast and helpful. The menu had tons of dishes that were new to me, so the pictures on the side were helpful. Each dish was a hit, and full of flavor. I was just passing by during my travels but if I am ever in town again this is the spot I would visit first!

I am part of a Sunday supper club that goes and eats at different restaurants in Middle TN once a month. We chose Osh for November, and it was the perfect choice! They had a separate room for us that fit 12 people. Quite a few people had never been so I helped with ordering for the table. Osh welcomes everyone with warm pita with a cream cheese/sour cream like white dip sprinkled with paprika. Then we ordered three orders of chuchvara which is a fried meat dumpling. They came 4 to one order so three allowed everyone to enjoy one. It was a big hit and everyone really loved it. Then we ordered the eggplant salad that was nice with great flavor. It comes chilled so keep that in mind. We ordered two soups: Pelmeni and Kuza Shurpa. I always get the pelmeni every time I go and I was really happy to try a new soup that came in a clay pot. It has meat, carrots, and another vegetable in a clear broth. It had a mild taste and wasn't overly seasoned. We ordered two dishes of Norin which is a classic Central Asian dish that is handmade noodles cut up served with onions on the side with a salty hot broth that you can request on the side. No one had had a dish quite like this which was fun to experience. They were out of their signature dish, Osh but we were able to pivot. We ordered two Shrimp Jiz Biz dishes and two mixed grill platters. Everyone enjoyed both of these dishes very much! I highly recommend both. We ordered Lagman Soup with noodles and a similar dish that came with rice. I will be coming back to order the lagman soup so I can eat the chewy noodles again. Then we ended the meal with three desserts. The favorite was the kunefe. They were all light and it was fun to share all of them to wrap up the meal. Right after we went, they announced new ownership! I hope that the flavors and menu items are similar. I'll definitely be going back and will report on how the restaurant is.

OSH was so delicious and such an incredible experience. From the authentic taste of the dishes and feel of the decor to the amazing food and ambiance, we will 100% be back.

Before eating at the restaurant, I had never eaten Uzbekistan cuisine. Now it's become my FAVORITE place to eat in town! You can really tell the food is homemade and with fresh ingredients. I have had several things on the menu and never had one I didn't like. Everything is well balanced and seasoned to perfection.

I came in here late on a Sunday evening with a group of 6. The place was busy and we got sat in our own little private area which made it fun! They unfortunately ran out of the OSH which is what we were hoping to try, but they were accommodating and gave us some free food to make up for it. But hey, selling out of something is a sure sign that it is indeed delicious! All the food we got was tasty. I am a sucker for hummus and I loved theirs. I will be coming back here to hopefully try the osh

This restaurant feels like home away from home. I am not Uzbek nor have I ever claimed to be Uzbek, but I feel truly one with the community after this culinary experience. Service was amazing. Our waitress was precious and consistently checked up on the table. I nearly wanted her to come sit down with us and share a plate. The ambiance was one that was calming, relaxing, and peaceful. I will undoubtedly be back.

The lamb is extraordinarily tender and pretty tasty, although the flavor isn't nearly as good as the best I've eaten in the Middle East. But I have unfairly high standards as a world traveler. The beef dishes are very good too, but again, not the best I've had. The service is fantastic with welcoming employees who make you feel right at home. House of Kabob is a worthy stop if you love Persian cuisine.

Ambiance is comforting and relaxing not at all pretentious with plenty of room for large groups and families to enjoy together. I base a lot of my opinions about the overall quality of the restaurants that I review on the cleanliness of their restrooms....it's a "basic bottle line" that says everything you need to know about where you could potentially be eating and drinking by doing nothing more than taking a quick trip to the toilet. If it's a mess, LEAVE!! If it's kept up, well stocked and CLEAN, then hug the owner, tell your friends and family to eat there and write a good review because phenomenal places with pristine restrooms like Edessa are becoming a rarity, a thing of the past, a novelty in a new era of nasty, busted and gross establishments serving crap....
