I hired Green Acres Landscape for a one day job to install two water lines and 12 sprinkler heads into an existing sprinkler system. I paid half up front and waited for work to start, 3 weeks later I find they forgot to put me on their schedule. When they showed up, it was not the crew I was told would be there, just one guy with a shovel instead of power equipment. He dug some trenches 12" deep and others 3" deep. He said it was harder digging in the backyard so he only went 3" deep. He broke an existing PVC drainage line and started putting duct tape on it to fix it. I said fix it correctly and he left the job site. I called the office and they said he will be back in the morning to fix it. While I was standing there with him, in front of the broken pipe, he buried it without fixing it. I made him dig it up and fix it. When the sprinkler heads were installed and adjusted, I started the sprinkler system to test it. It watered the side of my house and my neighbors yard. He said the 25 foot ratchet heads were could not water an 8' wide yard without getting water on the house. They came out the next day and replaced the heads and tried again. They had issue after issue and moved and changed the type of head three more times. It was a total clown show. The sprinklers did not go to the property line and I had 18" of dead yard. A Relationship Manager came over and he looked at everything and said he would fix the following day, which he did. The next day everything was fixed and I was happy. The manager handed me a letter from the ladies in the office. I thought it was a gift certificate to a local restaurant for all the trouble I experienced, but it was a letter stating that they were done working on my sprinkler system and any other repairs or issues will cost me $82 an hr. It was a slap in the face and poor customer service. They turned a one day job into a nightmare without one word of regret. read more

We live in a new house in a new subdivision. They planted several dead plants and rocks all around them. They inatalled rock instead of grass along side of the house. The rocks are hard to walk on. Not what we were told we were getting. read more

I recently had Uriah fix my lawn sprinkler irrigation system and he was the best! He was on time, very professional, he knew exactly what he was doing, he did the job efficiently and he cleaned everything up afterwards. The price was reasonable and fair. Uriah fixed everything for under $200.00 while Greer Brothers wanted $2,000 for the same repair! I highly recommend Green Acres and Uriah. I will be using their services in the future. read more

i phoned these people for an evaluation to do my yard maintenance the beginning of June, 2021. I got an 'appointment' for their evaluation - for June 28th - sending a guy out to take a look - 10 minutes. In early July, I was emailed a 'contract' to sign and return - which would not print so I could not do so - and I emailed them for help. Nothing. You call to remind them and they act like you have a third head growing off your neck before returning to behaving as if you didn't exist? It is not the case with Green Acres! Not only did I get calls returned, prompt (and what turned out to be accurate) and reasonable estimates, honesty in scheduling days for the crew to come redo my patio pavers, but also having a great crew doing the work who actually seemed to like what they do. It's the little things like creating a perfect circle around my wisteria vine with new pavers, protecting the root ball; the edge band to keep pavers from tipping out; raising the level up to my deck so tennis balls don't roll under. We have learned through this process that they will purposely bid your job WAY over what the average cost would be so they don't have to do the job. I rarely write reviews, but I'm compelled to comment about this Landscape company. Our 2 acres of fully landscaped yard was a jungle. We were way behind in pruning, weeding, and overall care. The grass was ages old, lumpy and overrun with weeds. The trees were shaggy and unkempt. The ornamentals and shrubbery looked ill and untidy. Today it is absolutely immaculate thanks to Green Acres. We invited 4 companies to our place to get quotes on the work. 3 of the 4 wanted to just wipe our slate clean and start over. Rich with Green Acres was the only one that showed up and had a vision utilizing what we have and his attention and knowledge of all our existing landscape was refreshing. In the end it was not price (even though they were the lowest quote), it was respect to the 25 years of time and effort we put into the landscape....regardless of how overgrown it had become. Luis and Charles spent 45 days on the project. 5 days a week starting in mid September. They worked in the heat, the cold, and the rain. Nonstop and methodically made their way around our property. The way they worked on every plant and on every detail was wonderful. We really felt like they were sharing ownership in the landscape with us. Each day when they were done, they cleaned up behind themselves and hauled away all the debris. At no time did they leave piles of debris...not once. Over the years, we have had other Landscape companies do work for us, but never have we felt like we wanted them to return. That way has changed for us. Green Acres will do all our work and we look forward to them coming out in February to prune the fruit trees and the ornamentals. I cannot recommend this Landscape company enough. Their price is fair, their work ethic is unmatched, they truly do care and it shows in their work. They came out to give an estimate. I asked for grass removal, a water feature and lots of plants pollinators love. I asked for some rock borders. They gave me an estimate for $14,000 for a water feature and a yard full of rocks with 12 bushes. Not what I asked for at all. Then when I responded that I asked for a lot of plants pollinators love, they asked me what kind of plants. They offered 12-15 additional plants. I responded that I would have thought a landscaper would know what types of plants pollinators would love and said I would go with the water feature only and do the rest myself. Silence. No response whatsoever I was ignored. Would rate them no stars if that was an option. We had them come out to look at our sprinkler system for a possible leak. we were told since they would be in area they would just swing by and if something was wrong would give us quote etc. The tech did swing by for a look and found nothing so left shortly afterwards. 3 months later we get a bill for $164 for 2 hrs of work and service call. I figured it would have been an easy remedy but thats when I was horribly wrong. Lisa answered the phone is was terribly rude, extremely insulting, short and even started to raise her voice and cut me off as soon as I was trying to explain the visit and that I NEVER agreed to have any work completed. Our neighbor confirmed the tech was only here for approximately 30 minutes. Lisa was just a nightmare to deal with, can't believe anyone could have such a horrible person to answer the phones. worst customer service EVER. so i called them for a yard maintenance quote, left a message in the morning. got a call back after 7pm, they left a message. so then I call them back on the next business day, and the lady tells me that she'll send someone out to my location within the week. 10 days then go by, and so I call them to see what happened, only to get the answering machine. only this time, never a call back. basically, they don't need my business or anyone else's business. so in my opinion, don't waste your time calling them...as they can't seem to get their act together. whatever. i found someone else...and they seem happy to be making money off of me...unlike Green Acres. read more

We recently set out to build a new home in a subdivision that has very stringent ACC rules monitored by a board. Green Acres with their professional, knowledgeable staff walked us through this beginning to end. From proposed design, to finished actual design after home was in place. The crew that did the actual hard work of moving rocks, dirt and irrigation system as well as planting all 148 plants and trees were amazing! It was 100 degrees and they didn't slow down.
