My shape and size changed over the months due to pregnancy, and despite my concerns and suggestions, the manager was dismissive and patronising, each time telling me 'don't worry, trust me' and to believe that the outfit would fit. 10 days before my wedding, I received a call from the manager confirming my worst fears that the outfit not only did not fit, but was 8-10inches too small at the waist. I was flabbergasted, as it seemed the regular measurements were a waste of time, and I felt I had been deceived/ cheated. As you can imagine so close to my wedding, I was devastated and stressed, as I had to find another outfit in such a short space of time.
