I saw some seafood items once like a Lox Bagel and it was almost 10 dollars. They were out of croissant sandwiches but had regular individual croissant bread that sold for about 3 dollars. The atmosphere is on the quiet side. It seems to demand calm energy and talking seems to be on the minimum. On Hot Beverage Week, the first week of December I tried the "white hot chocolate peppermint chai latte" and it was pretty yummy. Way more delicious then the one at SHO Coffee but it doesn't quite look like the picture on their instagram....Oh well it still filled me up nicely and it was warm and yummy enough.

They have a bunch of leather products from Wilder Winnipeg that is available for purchase, such as wallets, totes, backpacks, duffel bags, belts, etc. There also other merchandise for purchase from Thom Bargen, such as shirts, mugs, coffeemakers, etc. I have tried their lattes, which were alright. Only qualm was the lemon gelato had a metallic taste, which is common when acid reacts with aluminum. We all tried it and decided it was inedible so I brought back to the counter and just let her know that we could not eat it as it had a metallic taste. She tried it (out of the same bowl we all had been tasting it from) and basically said, no that's just how it is. Considering we had spent $50 at the cafe, it would have been easy to get a replacement gelato, without arguing with the customer. I think she knew we were irritated and came to our table to ask if we were okay. I appreciate that you approached us afterwards but a little goes a long way in the beginning. I will be back and will review again, hopefully service is a bit more forgiving.
