The AI agents were horrible, kept sending me through the same loop, and ultimately I gave up and left a 3*. After their prompt response by a real person to set up an appointment, I decided to take down my review to potentially leave a better one if things went well. I was scheduled for an appointment about a week out, and at the time of the appointment, I called the number and received another virtual assistant (not AI to my knowledge), who told me that the person I had the appointment with was on another call. I left my number and was never contacted, until about 3 weeks later, by email calendar invite, telling me that another appointment had been set up in another week or two. I already got my issues handled by another CPA and will be working with that other firm in the future. I hope this firm here gets their virtuals and artificials straightened out soon

My tax situation is kinda simple, I don't own property but I do have a fulltime job, trade stocks and have RSUs. I paid $160 for SD Taxman, if that helps anyone out there decide. Process: 1) I scheduled an online consultation, cause I had a lot of questions but this step is optional. 2) Submit all of your tax documents online thru WeTransfer. 3) It takes about a week for them to finish 4) Schedule a zoom meeting to go over the taxes, if all looks good, you pay the fee and they will file on your behalf 5) If you owe uncle sam money, they will pull out the money on your behalf on a date you tell them. If you get a refund, the money will automatically deposit in your account. Both happened to me. My refund took about 1.5 weeks after filing. EZ PZ! I recommend SD Taxman to anyone who wants a fuss free tax process. Shout out to Minh!
