Where do I begin here? My home was destroyed on 10/09 by Hurricane Milton. To say that we were devastated was an understatement. A friend of mine recommended Green Coast to give us a quote... We had gotten multiple quotes at that time, but when we met our sales person Cobey we knew that Green Coast was the contractor for us. We could tell that he was truly caring and honest, even at that point in time. Then we met David Mazzarela. For lack of a better word, David's was our guardian angel. Let me tell you our house was no cake walk. The trusses were mostly all destroyed from the eighty four foot oak tree that fell on our home. From the very beginning David made us feel hopeful. Every single step of the way through the horrible permitting processes to the multiple subcontractors underneath him, David was like a General going into battle. He is probably one of the best leaders I have ever met. Every step of the way he communicated to us what was going on and how the progress was going. He never didn't answer his phone when I called and I mean, NEVER. Even if he was in the middle of another project, he would answer the phone, and say I will call you right back.Which he always did. His follow up is amazing! This young man was a miracle worker. I never saw him stop working. Green Coast is so lucky to have somebody like him and of course wonderful Cobey. There should be no choice when you are looking for somebody to put a new roof on or help with construction projects.... if I could give them ten stars, I would. My husband and I are a military family impacted by the Ida hurricane.  We hired Green Coast to fix our roof. We have had a series of issues from day one. 1)  The shingles ordered were different than what we contracted 2) A worker fell through our master bedroom ceiling 3) Ceiling in our master bedroom has a huge hole 4) A worker was backing in the truck and broke the brick tile in the walkway 5) We were promised NUMEROUS dates and times to complete the ceiling of our master bedroom This is just to name a few things that have gone wrong. Not to mention they did a HORRIBLE JOB with our roof...torn shingles, etc... After several phone calls, multiple failed dates, we and placed a stop payment on our check deposit. We informed them we would be doing this, so they were aware. So Green Coast began fixing our master bedroom, okay...so we then gave them a casher's check and covered our check deposit. BUT they did not finish....now we do not only have a horrible ceiling we have floor-to-ceiling plastic throughout our bedroom. Now, as we enter the Thanksgiving holiday, we are receiving another series of different completion times. I have worked in affordable housing for 20 years with various construction contractors, and Green Coast is by far, the WORST in customer service I have seen. BUYER BE AWARE...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Don't end up in the situation we are in now! I wish someone would have warned us! This has been a nightmare!!! read more

Were it not for GreenCoast I would not have a new stone-coated steel roof. I did not realize the damage my roof had sustained from Hurricane Ian, and did not make an insurance claim until a courtesy inspection by GreenCoast representative Ingrid Balderas revealed extensive damage. Even with Ingrid's comprehensive evaluation including closeup and drone photos, my insurer initially tried to reject my claim. But her report ultimately prevailed in court, and with the settlement and my hurricane deductible, GreenCoast was able to replace my concrete tile roof with a significantly superior steel roof that looks just like traditional barrel tile. That required a variance from my HOA, which was fully embraced after GreenCoast orchestrated an excellent presentation to the board. With the peak of hurricane season bearing down, GreenCoast's crews completed the removal of the old roof, dry-in, and installation including all new soffits and fascia without a hitch. Green Coast Solar & Roofing was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. Ryan Mollric explained our options, choices, construction process and lead times for our tile roof replacement. He obtained our village permit and HOA approval. When the work began the demolition and prep was accomplished in one day with no overnight dumpster or mess. All waste was hauled away the same day. On the staging day the tile arrived on 16 palettes and were unloaded and distributed on the roof, again leaving no mess on the driveway overnight. We chose not to replace our gutters, so they were very careful not to damage them. The following day the large crew installed the entire tile roof. Green Coast Roofing (GCR) was a great experience. We use the Roofing Company and could not have been more happy with the service and new roof. I saw their yard signs in the neighborhood and I gave them a call to look at my roof since it had not been inspected by a professional since the last two hurricanes. Phil came out and said I had 42 broken or loose tiles. I contacted my insurance and of course, they denied my claim. Phil and GCR took over and contacted lawyers and handled everything. Within a few months, I was picking out a new color. The crew that came out was efficient and professional. They had the entire job done in 4 days! We hired Green Coast to replace our roof in February. (this is now our 3rd Roof we replaced with Green Coast as we have multiple homes) They were attentive and respectful. They protected my property like it was their own and communicated throughout the entire process. They were not the cheapest quote I got, but they were nowhere near the most expensive either. I have heard horror stories about the cheapest quotes. The roof looks fantastic, and we have had no issues. They still now even check in on us to make sure everything is good. Green Coast replaced our tile roof with a beautiful new Saxony 900 slate roof in the Florida blend color. Every worker that was on our job was courteous, respectful and took great care in ensuring our property was clean after each work day. The tear off of the existing roof was quick and efficient. We were quite pleased with the two crews employed for installation of the roof. The removal of the tiles was quick, and efficient When they left the area was cleaned of debris.
