I called Kelly Roofing to have my gutters cleaned. Tyler came and looked over my roof and set up the guys to clean the gutter. Two days later the guys came and did the job. They covered our pool and patio with plastic sheeting to protect it from the dirt and debris. They were on the roof for about two hours and did a great job! We had a miscommunication with Kelly Roofing. My wife, I, and Webster's dictionary all state bianual is twice a year. However, to Kelly Roofing, it means every other year. For whatever reason, possibly because Mrs. K. does not read her emails, we have not had them out for almost two years. So we called. Between the time they came out and this year, we tried to change our home insurance company. I paid for their people to inspect the roof. The pictures they posted and the findings conflicted with what Kelly stated in our last inspection. I was told my roof at best had two years of life left. No way, I had my roof inspected by Kelly, and they performed the necessary repairs. So we contacted Kelly, and they are coming out to inspect the roof. read more

Kelly Roofing illegally put a lein on my home to try to get money from me for work they never did and were never going to do. The deceptive business practices by this company are posted by others also. They released the illegal lein because NO contract was ever signed for them to put on a roof. We developed a slight leak in our new concrete tile roof that was approximately 4 1/2 years old. The roof was installed by another roofing company that has yet to contact us despite several messages being left. We contacted Kelly Roofing and they were able to come out quickly for a temporary repair until a permanent repair could be done. A three person crew arrived and they quickly diagnosed the issue which was an improper installation of the underlayment around the metal flashing in a valley area by the original roofing contractor. We now have peace of mind until the defect can be permanently repaired as SWFL is in the rainy season. Special thanks to Jeremiah's Crew from Kelly Roofing ! He even offered to haul away an old bag of shingles I had forgotten about. Update: Kelly Roofing finally did end up reaching out to me and offered me an extension of the warranty on the roof, and $500.00. Additionally, they told me that they have made changes in the way they will handle similar things going into the future. While I can't say I'm entirely satisfied with the offer (given how they had acted earlier), it's only fair to update my review accordingly.) The following is a modified version of my original review: My initial experience with Kelly Roofing failed to impress due to the following reasons: 1. They were explicitly told that there was a septic drainage field on the property and not to put anything heavy in the yard, as it can cause permanent damage to the septic drainage field. When they came to deliver the materials they used stabilizers in the front yard. It left about a foot deep hole in the yard. I happened to be there when they were delivering it and I took pictures, attached. Kelly Roofing's Response: It was a third party contractor that they hired and that I should take it up with them. Not sure how much damage it actually caused, but their response was the first indication of problems with the company. 2. I believed them when they told me that a "private provider" would do a proper inspection of the roof. The "inspection" amounted to one of their employees sending a few photographs and a very short (less than a minute?) video call. I was there when they did it and documented it. While they have insisted this is standard, local practice, I can only tell you that I was not impressed. 3. Ridge Shingles: Attached are pictures of the ridge shingles. I will let them speak for themself. Kelly Roofing's Response: Well, it passed inspection. (See previous item.) They said if they cause a problem later, it's under warranty, and so the company will fix it then. (Update: They did end up replacing these shingles satisfactorily, and also gave me an extended warranty on them.) 4. After it had passed their private party "inspection", another roofer informed me that insulation was preventing circulation through virtually all of the soffits! For those who don't know, circulation in a roof is a pretty "big deal". Improper circulation can lead to mold, premature failure of the roof, and it will void out any warranty from the manufacturer. If a roofing company discovers blocked soffits during the reroofing process, the reasonable, appropriate course of action would be to pause the project, inform the homeowner, and discuss solutions for unblocking the soffits before proceeding. Long story short, Kelly Roofing did none of those things and their initial, sustained approach was to not take responsibility for it. (Update: Although it took them far too long to do so, the company did finally take some responsibility for what happened, as noted at the top of the review, hence the modification to the original review.) I have agreed to give the company another chance on another property and, depending how that turns out, I will update this review accordingly. read more

It was a big investment, we didn't want to make a mistake. We had them install the roof and it was simply the best decision we ever made with the house. They are efficient, capable, attentive and highly communicative. They have extraordinarily good processes and follow-up. They came out right after the last hurricane and made repairs quickly and affordably because it was a "Kelly roof". They are the best and they are worth every dollar. Kelly Roofing repaired a roof leak above our top floor condominium. During the repair, a wire that passed through the hole in the roof repair site was damaged. Our air conditioning system failed immediately. Kelly Roofing told us to call an air conditioning repair company and to take pictures and video of the repair. We followed Kelley's instructions and sent them the requested documentation of the air conditioning company's repair that showed that the wire was damaged at the exact location that Kelly repaired. We believe Kelly Roofing has been dishonest in the following ways. In a BBB complaint Kelly Roofing stated the following: 1. Kelly Roofing stated we did not have air conditioning before their repair. This is not true. 2. Kelly Roofing stated the air conditioning repair company did not open the AC unit to repair the unit. This is not true and they have pictures showing it is not true. 3. Kelly Roofing stated our building manager told them that the damage to the AC wire was not caused by Kelly Roofing. This was not true and the building manager wrote Kelly Roofing a response stating she never said that and yet they repeated this false statement in their next BBB response. We fully understand that in business mistakes sometimes arise but a quality company would not repeatedly lie and run away from their responsibility. read more

Not responsible for their's roof! First check Facebook reviews- they are Scam, they bought the group with ready scam reviews. If I could give 0, I would, 1 is too good for them! I purchased the house with this roof from Kelly roofing states on permit history of my house. The owner installed the roof and passed away. Relative that was selling the house was from the different county. No one knows that you have to transfer of the warranty to fix leaks in the roof. I have a baby 6m and you couldn't imagine that I might have leak in the roof that is 3y old. And change in the ownership kicks you out from the warranty in 30 days after the home purchase. And who will Transfer it? Owner passed away, relatives- there are no there's name on the warranty. Who is responsible for that? Of course me as it turned out. After raining season started I saw a stain in the garage, in the attic saw a huge Leak. I checked roof and leaks with a horse and found that there were nails that were not overlapped. And it was leaking. Also it was possible that they didn't change flashing panels and it is rotted and leak is also coming from that place. So there maybe several places with leaks. I riched Kelly roofing, manager came. He didn't check the attic - just saw my pictures and the roof. And told me he will speak with management about the warranty. Then he called back and told me No warranty- I have to pay for it! He didn't check for additional leaks and where they are - but! he was ready to give me the numbers and estimate repair cost. Improper installation - is a "warranty case" and if you paid for the roof that is included into the house price - you Don't have any warranty. For example, you buy Lexus or Ford and in one year sell it. New owner find oil leak and go to the dealer- they say you don't have warranty- you didn't transfer it In 30 days, you have pay for it. Or You buy New washer sell the house- new owner bring it to Best Buy with receive - and they say you didn't purchase it, that is why you don't have warranty. No matter who sold this, the only netter who purchased. You can see pictures of my leak and the year of the installation from the wind mitigation inspection. Our whole experience with Kelly Roofing was outstanding. We developed a roof leak that became noticeable during the rainy season. We called and they sent out a crew to do an emergency repair. They were able to patch it between rainstorms for a very reasonable price. Kelly Roofing was in touch with us the whole way. From the very beginning, we got emails and texts with pictures of what was done during the entire process. When they returned a couple of weeks later, the crew again had to dodge the rain storms, but got the whole thing fixed and looking like nothing had ever happened. The crews they sent to our job were very professional and hard working. They cleaned up all the debris, sent us pictures of the whole process, and showed a great respect for our property every step of the way. It was a pleasure working with Eddy and his crew, as well as with the office and staff. From our experience, this is a company that gets it and you can trust. We asked that ALL the fascia be replaced and that is what we expected to happen as it was the one aspect of the job that the insurance company was going to cover. 3.) No one from your office ever offered to cover the pool cleaning. You can verify this if you check my emails. 4.) We have completed the clean up ourselves and I have never refused a phone call from your office. Sloppy job on my roof. Broke more tiles on my roof and cleaned their paint brushes on my roof tiles.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They have installed the same skylight twice and it is literally falling out of the ceiling into our home the day after installation. We have an infant that was literally crawling underneath it as it started to fall out. They performed the work without having an approved permit from the county. They didn't tell the contractor about the project until after the skylights were installed (per the contractor). Which created a 2 week delay to finish the project. Contractor was great by the way. 10/10 would recommend Geoff the contractor. NEW (11/10/20): went to clean bird poop off the skylight and found one skylight not secured. The bottom screws were not installed and left to sit on the roof. This will now be the FOURTH time they come out for the skylights. This company is COMPLETELY unethical...do NOT use them! Kelly Roofing did a repair on my roof....$7,400 and knocked a hole in the roof and wants ME to pay them for the repair. In addition, Kelly's estimator did not notice a major leak around the eaves, and now says it was "unfortunate" that it was not repaired with the rest of the roof repairs. Kelly Roofing put a new tile roof on our home in February 2019 that cost over 70K plus when complete. How did we like the roof? It leaked in March 2019. June 2020, June 2020. Kelly Roofing refused my emails and requests to call me. Just stopped communicating because they had NO IDEA why the roof was allowing gallons of water into our home. I guess 70K doesn't buy much anymore. I suggest you stay far away from this company. Dishonest, frustrating, and NOT capable of a roof that doesn't leak. We hired Kelly Roofing to fully replace our roof and custom fascia. The shingle part of the roof was done professionally and on time. The problems began when they got to the fascia. We chose a terracotta-colored covering from their sales catalog, which was installed in two steps, an upper row and a lower row. They installed the upper row first, then found that they had ordered lower row aluminum that was not a color match. The workmen pointed this out, and Kelly stopped the work; we then waited about 6 weeks until a color match was found. The work was finally completed in late May. On August 10, a large piece of the fascia simply dropped off during the night (it was not windy or raining that night in Fort Myers). I went outside to examine the damage and merely touched the large piece of fascia (about 5 feet long) hanging from the roof - it fell off the roof entirely - it was clear it had not been fastened to the structure in any way. I called Kelly and encountered more trouble. It was several weeks before a person came out to examine the roof. After that, I would call my "project administrator" and would get excuses for not contacting me, and excuses for not making it right. The "manufacturer" was blamed but I was assured that the "mistakes on the manufacturers part regarding the fascia cover" were being all fixed. On October 1, a crew came to replace the fascia cover - they installed the wrong color! After asking to talk with a customer service manager at least 7 times, I was finally put through to someone named Alisha and was assured a manager will be evaluating the situation. They correctly matched the piece and put it up a week later. UPDATE: I was assured by someone named Ivan (who is one of the owners of the company) that the rest of the fascia that was installed was secure and that the issue would not occur again. Today (Dec 3rd) another large piece of fascia fell down (again, no wind/rain in Ft. Myers). It does not appear that this component was correctly and securely installed on the entire roof. I am at a point now that I am having to get a consultant to evaluate this situation and find a solution, and I anticipate weeks more work to get Kelly to respond properly. Do not consider Kelly Roofing, particularly if you have a complex or custom project - if you have a very simple project, they may suffice. It is also very difficult to get a resolution when something does go wrong - not a responsive company, no dedication to solving problems timely and completely. read more

Recently I had contracted Tesla to install 3 powerwalls in my home. Unfortunately half way through the initial process I was informed that Tesla could not complete the installation due to that that my home was out of their territory. Telsa informed me that if I wanted to move forward with getting my project completed I would have to go through a Tesla certified installer. So I contacted Kelly roofing that is Tesla certified and had a appointment scheduled. I want to be clear that the customer service through Kelly roofing was very good. Both employees I spoke to were polite and answered all my questions. This is why alone that I choose to leave 2 stars instead of 1 On March 18 2022 I spoke with a Kelly roofing Employee and was notified that to order and install the 3 Tesla powerwalls I wanted it would cost me $45,000. I explained to the Kelly Roofing employee that my contract with Tesla was $24,810 so why is it going to cost me the consumer $20,000 more? I understand Kelly roofing is a third party that has to make profit but to overcharge customers by 20 thousand dollars seems ridiculous. Tesla charges $7000 per Powerwall, yet Kelly Roofing wants $15000 for the first Powerwall and $12500 for each additional wall. This is obviously price gouging at its finest. I have learned first had through the process of obtaining solar on my roof (not by Kelly Roofing) that going green is not by any means affordable. The main reason for this is because of companies like Kelly roofing that seem to not care about overcharging the consumer on products that cost a 3rd of what they charge. Not only is this a terrible way to do business but it pushes away future home owners on the benefits of going green by installing solar and whole home battery systems. read more

Don't use this company. My roof started leaking after four years. They came out and said there were places is in that we not done correctly they would make repairs. They never called back I went to the company and Joe Kelly came out and said he looked at their pictures they took and said it was hurricane damage from three years ago. How did he determine that with pictures. Especially since it's a flat rubber roof My contract says they use treated lumber and all of the boards are rotting and leaking. Under the gutters. They are a well established company in the Naples-Fort Myers area. The permitting, the tear-off and the new roof installation all went well. The crew was hard-working and experienced. As you might expect, the tear-off can get messy, but these folks covered everything before starting. Their clean-up efforts were also appreciated. The new roofs look great.
