But I began treatments with Dr. Ahmad on 18 July for osteoarthritis pain from shoulder to shoulder, as well as pain in my right shoulder from cartilage which had come loose. I was on heavy painkillers, as well as homeopathic remedies and a home TENS unit. In just a month of treatments of acupuncture electro stimulation, the difference is truly amazing ! I have been doing Acupuncture since April 2007. A friend recommended Green Crescent Herb & Acupuncture Clinic for Allergies as I have suffered with allergy problems for about 30 years. Thru the years I have had acupuncture treatments, herbs, and or vitamins for Allergies, Thyroid issues, Torn Meniscus, and Cold/sinus /ear infection, etc. Most of my acupuncture treatments have been to treat allergies. The initial series of treatments were successful for most of my allergies. I had been told by an Allergist that I should not use any milk products. With acupuncture, I have been able to use most milk products. I suffered with a problem w/my knee for some time, & went to orthopedic MD. This review should be more than 5 Stars because as an acupuncturist Dr. Ahmad has managed to make the process nothing but painless. I mean everyone has an aversion to needles, some more than others, but if a Doctor can even begin to mitigate those fears than in my book they deserve more than 5 stars; but enough on my fear of being pricked and onto my services received. I have had really bad seasonal allergies after moving to the USA. Having not grown up here my adolescence years never allowed me to acclimate to the airborne attackers. I visited the Dr. after being recommended and can say that acupuncture treatments have most definitely helped my allergies. No longer am I on Zyrtec/Allergra/Claratin. Not only have my seasonal allergies been helped but even my allergies to dust and to a certain extent cats have been greatly reduced. The Dr. targets a specific allergen for 3-4 45 min sessions. Starting with the allergen's presence in a bottle to moving on to the real thing the idea is to get your body used to the response so that it does attack the allergen. I went to three "conventional" doctors regarding dramtic weight gain (45lbs) and hypertension 182/123. One said to exercise. One said, "what's going on with your weight (chuckle)?" I had acupuncture for TMJ pain when I lived in Phoenix. Nothing worked to reduce the pain until I went to an acupuncturist. Years later, living in Dallas, I found myself with some inscrutable shoulder/back pain that I could not get rid of (3 months with the pain). I finally looked around and found Dr. Ahmad and Green Crescent. Dr. Ahmad is extremely knowledgable and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why before he does it. Novel concept in health care these days. In one session my shoulder and back felt like a shoulder and back again and less like a tangle of painful nerves. I went back for a second session this week and felt amazing on the drive home (despite the lovely traffic in Dallas). I have been to two neurologists without much success over the years. With my migraines getting worse and my daily headaches causing me to take painkillers every day, I decided to try acupuncture while waiting for my first appointment with my third neurologist. I am so glad I found Dr. Ahmad. My daily headaches are gone and Dr. Ahmad has done more for identifying additional triggers for my migraines. Excellent Service. Dr. Saiyad Ahmad is a very sincere doctor and cares for his patients well being. He goes after the cause of the disease not only symptoms. By the mercy of God he helped me to get off some of my strong Allergy medications.
