This thrift store is unbelievably organized and also incredibly overstimulating. We ended up having to cut our shopping trip short from just the shear amount of sites sounds and smells in there. However I came out feeling like I had scored an unbelievable thrift haul and got an amazing deal on a few things that I got there. I got a really great lamp for my daughter's room two matching pillows for her room as well. I got a knitted skirt for myself a pink Cuisinart ice cream maker a working Kindle for my daughter a pusheen book in almost new condition. a really nice small casserole dish with a lid that had a really pretty print and is oven dishwasher and microwave safe as as well as this really cute lucky cat bowl I got all of those for about $64 including tax. They also have tag deals which I appreciate since a lot of the thrift store nearby have been getting rid of them. The parking lot could be a little hectic so come prepared. Make sure you bring some extra time to sort through everything. next time, I'm definitely gonna go and spend more time on the clothing sections. The women's clothing at least is color coordinated so don't go looking in a specific size, go looking based on color. I went with my friend and she even got a rifle paper company rug for her brand new apartment. It was in really good condition and was such a beautiful find if she didn't get it I would!

Mostly everything is in good quality. I found some great vintage pieces --there's a huge selection of vintage if you're into that. It's 9:45am and I am making this post to let those of you who shop here know what I just saw. The reason why you can never find any items that correspond with the 50% off color of the day is because as soon as this place opens, there are employees assigned to hurry up and REMOVE items with that color. I was in the shoe aisle and all of a sudden saw a woman grabbing shoes and quickly tossing them into a bag. As I looked closer, these were all shoes with BLUE stickers (which happened to be the 50% off color of the day). No one else was in the aisle which is why she likely felt comfortable doing something so grimy. The fact that everything in this store was received for FREE and literally just put on a shelves and hangers--but you people have the NERVE to not only price gauge but intentionally HIDE items that would have qualified for the 50% off color is egregious. Your greed knows no bounds.

Maryland Food Bank thrives off of weekend volunteer hours for packers in their conveyor belt area to box canned goods and boxed foods as they'd otherwise have to bill these hours to payroll. I enjoyed myself and even got in a little cardio as the belt moved more and more foodstuffs through. I was in charge of canned veggies and boy were there lots of them. It was a good time and I can't wait to go back!

He did not call. At 5:30 pm as we were leaving the house he showed up, no apology, and just as we were preparing to leave. They serve indigent clients and yet they turned up his nose at many of our pieces and rejected them because there was a stain on the wood or a knob missing. I was shocked they would deny poor people items for such trivial reasons. Overall not impressed with the lack of courtesy or appreciation. I'll go with Goodwill.

I honestly had no reason to believe that she would not do the work until one day, we were scheduled for a call and she didn't answer the call, the text or the e-mail that I sent later that day. She also didn't show up for the appointment we'd scheduled that weekend to help me unpack after my move. In fact, I never heard from Ola again. I've never seen such a gross display of unprofessionalism, especially from someone who created a business designed to make your life easier. Needless to say, the work was never done and Ola never refunded my money after several attempts to reach her.

We were disappointed with our recent experience with Bookstore Movers. The crew was polite, but the…read moremove felt much slower and less efficient than it should have been. We had a dedicated elevator, yet workers often brought items down only one or two at a time. I also saw team members on their phones or standing around in rooms and hallways instead of actively moving things. These delays added up quickly. The crew also misplaced parts of our bed frame, and the pieces had to be found before it could be reassembled. That alone added nearly an hour to the move. Because the move took much longer than expected, the final cost was significantly higher than the estimate we received. We were also charged based on an arrival time that was recorded as ten minutes earlier than when the crew actually arrived. The team was courteous, but given the inefficiency, added time, and higher final price, we would not use Bookstore Movers again. This is unfortunate, because we had been happy with them in previous moves.
