Wow! One of THE best thrift stores in Maryland. This place is run so efficiently. It's extremely organized and the women running it keep it very neat and clean. Prices are super reasonable. Mostly everything is in good quality. I found some great vintage pieces --there's a huge selection of vintage if you're into that. They even have a full bridal section and special occasion dresses that were really pretty. I barely scratched the surface--a second visit is definitely in order. Highly recommend this location. This place have been in laurel for a minute but somehow im just finding out about it. I visited today and the first impression from walking into the door is that it smelt clean like someone had just finished cleaning as a matter of fact. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the store was well organized and very neat. I did find a pink stainless steel bento box practically brand new for $7. which was pretty cool. read more

I think this is one of the best thrift stores in the area. I always find a good selection of home goods, women's clothing, and kids clothes. Their texting program can be aggressive, so don't sign up for that if that kind of thing annoys you. They do the rotating 1/2 off tags by color, so pay attention to that. The manager Joe is likely running a side business with items from the store which is easy for him considering the fact that he can change prices at will or not charge at all. I once overheard a person discussing an offer on some items and how he refused the offer with Joe. At another time I saw Joe give a bag of jewelry to another person who he apparently knew and that person then checked out for whatever price Joe had put on the bag. Customers I have often met at the store do not shop there anymore as the quality of the items left for store customers has dropped while the prices of the items have increased substantially. These customers have also told me that they are aware that Joe is not honest with items that come into the store. Joe controls the employees (mainly hispanic women) who believe they hold their jobs at his will. read more

This location is truly a hidden gem that I only recently discovered. The first thing I noticed is this store is ORGANIZED and clean. One of the most organized and clean locations I have ever been to! The prices are amazing, too. I would say it's one of the last places in PG / Anne Arundel / Howard County that prices have not gone through the roof. All of the clothing I've looked through has been in great clean condition and is presented very nicely. There is a large selection of women's , mens, and kids clothing - I have browsed through all of the sections. They have a large amount of hard goods & furniture. The book section is pretty small, and the toy section is smaller here. If you are willing to dig around, you can definitely find some great deals on some almost new brand name items. Be patient ! It takes a lot of time to find the cool things. The employees here are very friendly. My first visit, our cashier was so kind and told us about their rewards program, all of their sales, and helped me sign up for the rewards. I earned $2 off my first purchase just for signing up! I spent enough for $10 off my next- I have already visited 3 more times since then and earned even more rewards ;) This store has great color sales, and you can actually find items that are on sale! They have balloons at the cash register that are labeled with the sale color / percent. There is also a monitor above the entrance that shows upcoming deals / sales. They do a lot of promotions here - deals for veterans , seniors , etc. They also have great sales on holiday weekends with 3 colors 50% off. This thrift store was a pleasant surprise. It's a nice size store,but the aisles are kind of close together allowing only 1 cart at a time to roll down the aisle. With that being said, there are a lot of gems packed into this congested space. They have a decent shoe section, but you will find shoes on top of racks all over the store and not size specific. While I didn't really care for that set up, I appreciated the fact that they got the inventory out and on display. I found a "Shacket" (shirt /jacket) for $3.98. I mention this because I was just looking at a very similar "Shacket" at Old Navy for $ 74.98 I was ecstatic to snatch this deal up! I also scored the cutest crossbody black leather bag for $6.98, and a beautiful purple velour 6x dress for my granddaughter for $2.67 on sale Btw, the children's section was also filled with some great items for boys and girls. There men and women sections are neatly organized by size and in some cases color (primarily jeans). Household items are plentiful at this store. I was a little confused with the pricing for glasses. I wasn't sure if the pricing was for sets or individual glasses because they were loose. The only help available for questions was the cashiers. The back section of the store housed furniture. During this visit they had some pretty nice pieces to include a blue sectional, a tobacco color leather chair, and a leather recliner to name a few. They also had some vacuums. Christmas is around the corner and they had plenty of artificial trees ,decorations, and even ugly sweaters I got a few ugly sweaters ranging from $2.98-$3.98 so I'm ready for ugly sweater season Btw, this store attracts a lot of customers, but has a small parking lot. You may have to wait for parking space before you start shopping for your treasures.Also, the balloons near the cash register tell you what color tags are on sale. Today yellow balloons/tags were 33% and pink balloons were 50% off There were some pieces of clothing that were really over priced and I could by them in a store bran new. Shoutout to our local community heroes! The store is organized and small enough to where I am able to find treasures in areas where it is supposed to be. Lots of seasonal specials shelves as well. Today, I saw so many Halloween costumes and decorations. Fall colored decorations and even some Christmas decorations are already popping up. I found things that I needed like a new soup ladle and a little wooden shelf. I found a beautiful surprise coffee mug with a replication of Vincent Van Gogh's Art. I had a cup of coffee at home right away. It holds a large volume! Perfect for the cooler weather. Lots of cute stuff! And I seem to always find what I need and more! I love the staff. They always help me when I can't reach something or need a price on something. They have daily discounts, military discounts, senior discounts, and they offer returns as store credit. I love this kind of thrift store-- I know it's technically corporate-owned (Prime Thrift?) but it's like the one I love on Georgia Ave just into DC... not a ton of selection like Unique or 2nd Ave (which I also love), handwritten labels BUT CHEAP! And you can always find something! How about I rolled in 15 minutes before closing, got 3 pair of very good or like-new shorts for my daughter (Old Navy, H&M and... Large, but expensive. I go for vintage clothing and found very little and had to put a few things back because I would rather go to a Unique or Value Village joint for the price of things. They do sell t-shirts to guests about being a thrift shopper and you get a discount when you wear the shirt, so that's pretty funny. It's more worth it for the hokey exterior (like a Cracker Barrel or something) and some of the home decor, but, as a weekly thrifter it's not a place I intend to frequent. read more

Lots of good outerwear in here. You never know what you're going to get - it is definitely a grab bag. I find this is the destination for ladies clothing. I found a cropped cranberry wool Zac Posen coat in here once. There is also a great military discount. Again keep your eyes peeled for stains and tears or buttons where the thread is dry rotted because that happens with used items. The military discount here is worth the trip alone. read more

Thrift stores are my thing. I have been shopping at them regularly for 15 years and I have seen some horrible ones and some really great ones. In my opinion, Prime Thrift Laurel is in the "great" bucket and here's why: large selection of clothing, shoes, accessories, rewards program, and promotions! There is a large selection of women's clothing that ranges in all sizes and brands. I have found name brand pieces in great conditions and at reasonable prices. I have also seen Columbia/North Face jackets at higher prices but in good conditions. The shoe and purse selections are decent and I have found some good items. As someone who has a vinyl record collection, I love coming here because they have a large selection of records. I also really like Prime Thrift Laurel because they have discounts on different color tags based on the balloons hung up in the front of the store by the cash registers (neat idea!). I usually have a few bucks off my purchase as part of the rewards program so make sure you sign up for them! The only feedback I would offer to the store is to expand their fitting room. They literally only have one and the line can be very long if you want to try things on. Give this place a try if you haven't. Chances are you will walk out with something! Oh, and you can donate things right outside the store to the left of the building. read more

Worth an updated review because I've grown to enjoy this thrift shop much more than I originally anticipated... It's rare that I leave without purchasing anything. A lot of their items are up to date, which can be uncommon at thrift shops. They have a variety of items, even though the store is just one level and isn't extremely large. I bought a lightly used white desk, gold mirrors and plenty of clothes from this location. If you're big on trying things on first before buying, I definitely recommend dressing comfortably so you can try on clothes outside of a dressing room; there's only one dressing room and the wait for the room can be long. read more

When you first pull in the parking lot you think that it is your typical thrift shop, but its not. I call this place a gold mine. I have found a Burberrry coat, Chanel shoes and a great Micheal Kors rain jacket. The only con is that the place is a bit disorganized when it comes to you finding your size. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a huge inventory of furniture and small appliances way in the back. Parking is not great if you come later in the day, but for the most part you find a spot quickly in the early hours. I asked a question and the cashier actually answered politely and I got the answer without mumbling, doe in the headlights look, nor do not bother me attitude. They are a little pricey but they do have 50% off days. Nice coat selection and jeans. There suits were ok but they had more blazers. I went to check out this place as they are having a 50% this weekend (3/6 - 3/7). As you pull your car into the parking area, you are greeted by loud music. Rather welcoming. The staff in the store are friendly too. If you are looking for clothes, this is the place for you. Unlike Unique Thrift / Village, they carry very very little of household items. I called yesterday to schedule a furniture pick-up for today. They told me to have the items waiting outside from 8am-8pm today because the drivers are not allowed inside the residence. So, I moved the furniture into the rear loading area of my apartment complex (because I obviously can't leave items waiting on my apartment's lawn). When I called the office to tell the drivers exactly where the furniture would be, the office staff was rude beyond anything I have experienced so far. I calmly told her that she had no reason to be so rude and that I would like to speak to her supervisor. She talked to a manager - while I could hear the entire conversation - all while continuing with her sour disposition. If you hate your job, that's fine, but you literally have no excuse to be a caustic, detestable human being as soon as you pick up the phone. Find a new job, or learn some customer service skills. However, Kolany Williams, the manager, offered wonderful help and said that he would call to tell me when the drivers would arrive. read more

The staff is awesome, however... the fact that they allow certain people to go thru the carts and grab stuff before it is put out on the floor and processed is disappointing and annoying. I literally had to facepalm myself when I finally found it. And I was in the midst of driving past it (again!!) when I realized it was the place I needed to be at. Readers know that this place is not hard to find AT ALL. I think I was just having a bad driving day and well, I haven't had to be in Laurel in about five years so....sue me. Anyways, this store is SO clean and organized. It doesn't have that weird stale odor that most thrifts seem to carry. There was one spot in the store that smelled absolutely funky, but I think that was due to the moldy jumbo fan they had sitting randomly in the store. this place is chaos, and worth a look. i have found designer clothes and good stuff regardless of label or designer. it's a mixed bag and you have to spend time, and not get overwhelmed. there are no returns and no fitting rooms, so you better come prepared to know your size, because the store has organized the clothing as best they can. if you are serious, plan a couple of hours and have fun. of course you will wash any new purchases before wearing. but there is massive stuff of greatness! read more
