Here's what happened in Chronological order: Love Bombing and Boundary Crossing Refusing to respect when i said No At the same time given Abnormal Privileges like access to Employee and Volunteer only areas Being given priority over other people in need, and right in front of them Being given other people's donations Personal Space Violations, 2 or 3 of the male Volunteers violated my Personal Space by walking extremely close to me, and usually behind me. Triggered the shit out of me. Put me on High Defense. DON'T EVER COME WITHIN ARMS LENGTH OF A WOMAN WITHOUT HER PERMISSION AND NEVER EVER APPROACH A WOMAN FROM BEHIND ITS COMMON SENSE They clearly don't care whether i feel safe or not. Directors Ego, kept insisting i give him attention. I was avoiding the Director on purpose because he has bad vibes. So he'd search me out to make sure he was acknowleged. That only put me off even more. Found out about the Privacy Violations Some staff was telling others private information about me , and information that put me in jeopardy, like that im living in my Vehicle, and where i was staying. And other sensitive information. I never would have consented to that, but they never asked me anyway. Interrogated me every visit, putting me in the Hot Seat and making me EXTREMELY DEFENSIVE AND ALERT. This alone nearly made me flee for safety reasons. That same staff member also asked my underwear size.i didn't give it, and said i didn't need it, so the staff member bought underwear anyway and tried to get me to take it in front of others. I didn't. Same staff member offered me her username and password to her personal online account. I quickly dodged that bullet. Numerous Staff and Volunteers seemed to very much dislike me for no reason. I thought at first maybe its because i was being given wierd Privileges like to walk behind the scenes. But that's probably not what it really was. I got some dirty looks, one staff member walking away disinterested while i was talking about what being homeless is like, and lots of fakeness from some others. I found that only a handful treated me like a person. Mostly i was treated like i was inferior, and / or detested. And that my safety, comfort, preferences, and boundaries mean nothing. The Last day i went, a few interesting things happened. i finally used the access privilege and walked around looking for someone, a Volunteer spoke with me to arrange helping me repair my Vehicle and setting up an employment interview in a field i used to work in and Loved. While that conversation was taking place, the Director stormed into that Office, visually very angry, and pulled the Manager into his office. When the Manager came back she told me she had a project for me. She later walked me to a wall in the Warehouse and told me that there was a complaint of an odor, and that the Director wanted me to leave and go take a Shower at a male Volunteers building. That was the last thing i was going to experience from them. i grabbed my purse and bolted out of the Food Bank, ne'er to return. It very much looked like the Director thought that i was under his command, or in debt to him in some way, and must do as he dictates. Incorrect. And the last thing i would do is make myself THAT vulnerable to those i do not know, males LEAST OF ALL. This was the Biggest Red Flag, waving High in the Sky. Idecided its best to not have any affiliation with that Food Bank at all, and take no more donations. To cut the ties. I responded to a Text from the Manager saying some of what i typed here, airing some Complaints, and then stopped communicating. After all that, the Manager: *Gave out my Phone number *Tried to reopen the door by sending a donation my way. I refused it. I have never in my Life had to go through so much for a little Food. It's just not Worth it. Go somewhere that's Healthy to be. This place will take a serious toll on your mental health and may even lead to disaster. And don't EVER think that you owe anyone anything in exchange for donations. That's how they get ya. You don't owe them anything at all. The donations are INTENDED for you. You don't owe anyone any Favors, or Obedience. Just say Thank You and LEAVE

It's for any customers who might decide to attend one of her sales to buy something - this was my experience. This company had a two day sale in Manville, NJ starting on Friday. I live in Brick and I wanted to come because of the large DVD collection that was available. So, because of my work schedule, I took a few hours of paid time off and I drove to Manville early & arrived at the house at about 9:25am. It was about a 90 minute drive due to traffic and heavy construction on the route I took. The sale didn't start until 2pm so I put my name on the list and I was 3rd. I drove around for a bit and came back around noon and waited at the house till the sale started. When we were waiting at the top of the stairs, the lady in charge laid out some ground rules such as cash only, a certain part of the DVD collection was not to be separated, etc. As mentioned, I was third so she let the first 10 in and it was a lot of rushing to the shelving units and tables. It was hectic at the start and I understood that it was probably difficult to handle. After a few minutes, she was telling everybody who had a bag to stop filling it, they were done, they needed to pay and then leave so she could keep the line going. I had managed to get most of what I was looking for but it was difficult to check everything since I saw more that I possibly wanted. When she asked me for my bag, I gave it to her and I tried to take a quick glance but I knew I needed more time. So I asked her to tell me how much I had so far. She said it was $250 and I said okay, let me just take a quick second look for more and then I'll be done. She raised her voice and said with hands in the air, "SIR, SIR - no more. You need to pay for these now because I have to get my customers in - these are my customers" as she was gesturing towards the door. I stood there in disbelief because I thought I was a customer and I asked, "So, I can't just take another quick look - I didn't even get to look at the 2nd table." Again raised her voice and hands in the air, "SIR, SIR, - this is it. Take it or leave it but I got to let more of my customers in sir." The people waiting at the open front door seemed to be surprised too so I said, "Are you serious - I can't even take another look or buy more?" She said again with a raised voice, "No, that's it - take it or leave it. If you don't want what's here - you can leave it." So, I said calmly, "All right, I won't buy anything" so I picked up my bag and poured what was in it onto the couch. She just nodded her head as I said kind of under my breath, "I can't believe this, completely wasted my time - never coming back to another sale of hers." As I was stepping out, she tried to call out "SIR, SIR!" and I just said walking out the door, "Nope, I'm out" and I hurried down the crowded stairs. I walked to where my car was and I ran into a couple people who were in the first group too and they had it happen to them as well. I then checked the time on my phone and it said 2:07pm. So, literally, I as well as others, were only allowed in that house for a little over 5 minutes. That was not enough time for anybody who wanted to buy things unless you knew exactly what you wanted. At one point when I was talking to these other guys, there were a couple other guys trying to go up the stairs and while I didn't hear this clearly, she yelled down from the top of the stairs that she would not let them in or ban them because she needed to keep the stairs clear for safety reasons. This was undoubtedly the worst estate sale I've ever been to in over 10 years. Never have I been told to leave after 5 minutes, nor not being able to look around again to even being told I basically can't buy more. And I wasted paid time off for nothing. I will never attend another one of her sales again. But please, don't let me discourage anybody from using her company for your estate sale. This is just for the customers who attend. Thank you.

I will say that the furs are a bit of a deal considering that they don't smell like they've absorbed 30 years of smoke the fur lays smooth, and still they have all their buttons. The men's section is decent too with more American vintage brands, made to last. Lots of fun silk ties and sashes, and plenty of sporting coats for all of your scholarly needs. The one thing I didn't like about this shop was the young customers! Loudly complaining about the prices, and minor defects in some of the clothes. Most of the items in this shop are statement pieces or items designed to last. You are not going to find prices akin to temu or shein for well made items!
