I've only heard good things about this shop so I finally decided to stop by. If you enjoy cashmere, wool, and camel sweaters in all sizes this is your spot! Finally a consignment with high quality sweaters in small sizes! The quality of clothing here is gently pre-owned, with some vintage brand names sprinkled throughout. I was excited to find a few of my favorite European brands here too. The prices reflect the quality, e.g. if you're buying silver you're paying for silver. I will say that the furs are a bit of a deal considering that they don't smell like they've absorbed 30 years of smoke the fur lays smooth, and still they have all their buttons. The men's section is decent too with more American vintage brands, made to last. Lots of fun silk ties and sashes, and plenty of sporting coats for all of your scholarly needs. The one thing I didn't like about this shop was the young customers! Loudly complaining about the prices, and minor defects in some of the clothes. Most of the items in this shop are statement pieces or items designed to last. You are not going to find prices akin to temu or shein for well made items! (With the exception of the $1 t-shirt rack...) This is a well curated consignment shop. Leaving 4 stars because I didn't get to explore the second half of the store full of home decor! A nice little consignment shop with friendly staff. It's a relatively small area packed with many items and you have to really sift through things to find some winners. End of season seems to be the time to go, as we did last week. Everything in the store was $5. This week everything in the store is $3 and the following weekend fill a shopping bag for $7. I picked up a Banana Republic blouse, J Crew skirt, and an Ann Taylor skirt for $5 each. All were in good condition. Not a bad deal at all! They do this sort of "clean out" at the end of every season to make room for next seasons items. In this case, making room for the fall stuff. read more

Cute thrift a few blocks away from the University. It's on the second floor of the building and the door is in the parking lot. It might be difficult to find at first. It's a small place with a ton of cute finds. It's a seasonal store. So during the winter months expect to find "ugly" sweater, jackets boots, etc. October will have Halloween costumes and trinkets. There's a backroom which they refer to as the $5 dollar room, but many of the finds I'm there will be less than $5. It's recommended stop on your way to Princeton. read more

Great place full of finds both eclectic and practical. My girlfriend and I are both twenty somethings in New York City and we consistently find better stuff (Levi's jeans, funky button downs, designers sunglasses, etc.) in here than in the hotshot thrifts in Brooklyn. Thanks, Nearly New! read more

This one star review was for the experience as a consignor. If I could I would give this business a five star negative review. I was given $22 for 28 brand-new looking items, including a lot of designer dress jackets, dress shirts, Calvin Klein and Michael Kors items, etc. As a new consignor, I paid a $8 fee to open an account with them. The poor results were a waste of my precious and limited time. I paid for a parameter on the street to sell my clothes and the store kept some of my hangers. Thus, I got paid less than $.35 per item. If I had knew this business will pay so little, I would have never consigned any items there. I would have wore my clothes until they will fall apart, sold them on other platforms (Poshmark, thread up, Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, etc.) or donate them to family and friends or a non-profit organization. The staff expressed an interest to consign twelve more designer items for the spring/summer. My answer was negative. This business claimed only five items were sold during the time period in which I could get a sale percentage. The entire process took around three months in addition to be cumbersome and unpleasant. During the selling process in-store, the staff (a senior female white associate and a white middle-aged man with grey hair) had an arrogant attitude. During the selection process, the staff initially "forgot" to account for three items they took. As I noticed it, they corrected the number of items they consigned. This venue has been selling clothes and accessories for women, men and children. read more

As a shopper, I am able to find decent clothing consistently. The prices are decent. As an experienced consignment shopper of this caliber, I prefer other shops (better organized and cleaner) but they aren't local. As a consignor, I think it's a rip off. I have consigned several items and have seem them disappear from the store within one season, but have received less than $15 at the end of the season. Their accounting system is ancient, and I no longer trust that I have gotten credit for my items. Needless to say, I have consigned for over 2 years and won't be bringing consigning here anymore. read more

A little displeased with my experience here. Drove 35 minutes after speaking with a woman on the phone, she failed to tell me, it is $7 to open an account and if your items don't sell within 6 weeks they keep your items with no option to pick your things back up. They also said they only sell "high end items". So to me, it seems a little shady. I feel they may price items a little higher and once it doesn't sell, they drop the price and keep 100% of the profits. I'd rather donate to Salvation Army than have this establishment make money off of my items. The ONLY reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the man working there was very nice. Yes! This place is fun, especially if you're into hunting for cool, random, eclectic stuff. Definitely a mix of thrift and vintage. I would say that the prices are on the expensive side of thrift but on the cheaper side of vintage. Memorable buys: vintage genuine white kid gloves, vintage dress from the 70s, silver cocktail tray, cute wool Eddie Bauer pencil skirt, art deco style glass-bead necklace, silk velvet J McLaughlin cocktail dress, vintage embroidered evening bag from Germany, white lace and fringe flapper dress. The staff is very helpful, very friendly. One time, they actually called a seamstress friend of theirs (right then and there!) to help make me something when I couldn't find it in the shop! read more

Came for the 5$ sale and the store is very disorganized and dirty most of the items were torn and damaged or visibly and smellibly filthy and unwashed, definitely not worth 5$. Ads say everything 5$ or less this week but it is not true as the only items in the store that were in good condition or worth anything were not included in the sale the ads were misleading. Definitely found some good deals here including $10 Hudson and joe jeans. However, you have to be willing to sort through all of the other stuff to find them. It looks like they get some good designer brands if you're willing to hunt a bit. While I was there they had a Moncler coat for $450 and a Barbour vest for $36. If you live nearby, definitely a place to check regularly to see what they have. Also make sure you take a trip to the back room where everything is $5 and under! read more

One time, when I lived in Princeton, I dropped off around 15 items of nice clothing, they were accepted and inventoried. Because I work in town then, I went back every week to see if they were selling. I never once saw my items on the racks -- several Polo, Ralph Lauren, Express, J Crew -- all designer -- so I thought they'd sold quickly. At the end of the season I went to collect my $$. Well, I got no money and was told NONE sold. I also asked for the invoice printout and they had NOTHING and claimed they had a glitch. I think the glitch was they simply lost my clothing. I'm giving 2 stars because I had some good experiences there. I think the manager (owner?) is super nice and the staff somehow failed. Needless to say my clothes are gone. I'll never go back or recommend consigning.. bad taste in my mouth, bad experience and lesson learned. So long. read more

Yesterday I had bad customer service. The clothes I was going to purchase were stained and dirty, and instead of working with me on price, the owner grabbed them away from me and said she would wash them and they would be out again next week. She lost a long time customer(20 years) and a good sale. For a few dollars, this was not good. She never gave me a chance to purchase. read more

EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE I went to the store after reading all the Yelp comments thinking that it would be decently priced but most things in the store range from $15 to $40. I even found a north face jacket for $87. Too expensive for a thrift store that receives donated clothing. Never going back. read more

Went today for the first time and fell in love! Amazing selection in such a friendly store! I spent a little over $60 and purchased two suits, four sweaters, two pants and a blouse! I'm hooked! I consigned many pieces of name brand clothing with this shop. Months later the shop owner told me that a couple of items sold and I will receive a payment three months later. After waiting for a long time, I never received any money. Don't be a consignor with this shop, they are very disorganized and treat their suppliers poorly. read more
