Runaway!!! In June…read more2013, Greenergy Professional Services LLC replaced my homes 22 year-old oil furnace with a geothermal system that includes an oil backup. Oil is a backup and is only supposed to kick in if the outside temp drops below 10-15 degrees. Matt Bryant was the only Greenergy contact I've had for warranty issues. Greenergy has regularly (2-3 time/year) been contacted because of issues with the 5 ton Envision Water Furnace and Lennox 'Signature Series' fuel oil furnace that they installed. Past issues have range from faulty thermostats, the furnace using oil when the outside temp was 50 degrees, an oil leak that covered my utility room floor and an on-going problem with water all over my utility room floor. Each time an issue has arisen it's required Greenergy to make 2-3 trips to 'fix' it which means I've had to take off work each time to be there! The water issue has been an on/off issue for the entire 6 years I've had this system and usually seems to at its worst in the winter months and, it is not as simple as condensation like you'd expect from the AC. It is water, and lots of it, leaking all over floor that can't be contained by a simple hose to the floor drain. As best I can tell, it's dripping through the furnace unit. I'm afraid of mold/mildew developing in my house, being electrocuted or creating a fire hazard as water surrounds the furnace. I am unable to use my utility room. Since 1/29/19, I've been regularly trying to contact Matt for service. His voice mailbox is always full so leaving a message isn't an option. Neighbors that recommended Greenergy to me back in 2013 report the same lack of response for their annual maintenance ... so I know it's not just me that's being avoided. Calls to the office number don't generate a response either. He does NOT respond and I am understandably pissed!!! On 3/12/19 I contacted Cincinnati BBB. They called and told me Greenergy's local office is closed and has been moved to Nicholasville, KY south of Lexington. I understand this is warranty work for Greenergy and not part of their fee based service work which is most probably why I'm getting no response. Customer support has gone from terrible to non-existent over the past 2-3 years.

I've waited awhile to leave a review, because I wanted to give them a chance o make things right…read more They replaced both an air conditioner and a furnace in my home. Their estimate was somewhere in the mid-high range and we hired them based on reputation as well. They finished the initial job well enough. However, the unit kept cycling off and on very quickly; they had to come out 2 more times before deciding that, yes, they should have enlarged the air intake to accommodate the units they put in. They fixed this and did a fine job on it. Fast forward to this spring and I am cutting the lawn. I bump the plastic slab they set the air conditioning unit on, and the AC unit goes flying across the slab, hanging on only by the refrigerant line; the unit is not secured to the base. I call their office and on the return call next day, they insist that the AC unit does not need to be secured to the base. Our unit right next to this one IS secured to the base. I am not pleased with them.

Unsafe Generator Installation -- Months Without a Safe System…read moreSynergy Home installed my generator this April. From the start: wiring errors, repeated outages, and multiple service visits that never fixed the root problem. July: Water from a faulty conduit leaked into my electrical panel, causing a burning smell and clicking noises. Kentucky Utilities inspected, confirmed the danger, and shut off power to my home. Synergy restarted it -- but still missed the cause. Weeks later, Generac had me do a manual load test. It failed again with the same burning smell. Only then did Synergy send a different technician, who finally found the real issues: poorly stripped wiring, a broken seal from conduit torque, and water intrusion. After months of safety risks, outages, and stress, Synergy's "compensation" was only a 5-year service contract... meaning the same company that caused the unsafe installation expected me to trust them to maintain it. I cannot recommend them
