Never washed them off. In order to verify, I asked the employee, and she confirmed they do not get washed. I definitely understand how soggy strawberries can get after being washed! However, I am very uncomfortable with the idea of not at least rinsing off some of the herbicides, pesticides, dirt, and insects that are on fresh strawberries. I'm sure I'm not alone. Be careful of the fresh berries!
