I popped in for a summer/basil roll to carry out for lunch. I think a 3 year old must have made it! It was so loosely rolled that I had to use a fork to eat it as it fell apart and the stuff sprinkled on top was rancid crushed peanuts. The sauce was some kind of soy based liquid rather than the expected peanut sauce. A total waste of $7+! The service was cheerful and fast. I was looking for somewhere to go for a solo date night and saw this location and decided to stop to get sushi. Location: it's in a busy area but there is plenty parking. Service: There was no wait, I sat at the bar and the service was good. Ambience/Crowd: It's a family friendly establishment. Food/drink: I got two sushi rolls and they didn't taste fresh. They have a wide array of choices but the sushi didn't taste good at all. I can't recall which rolls I had I would come back to try other things on the menu but not the sushi. read more

Everything I have had from Green Ginger is average at best. Edible, and decently good but my eyes don't roll back in my head with foodgasmic bliss after every bite. I ordered the hamachi Kama the most recent time I went and it was burnt, dry and seasoned ever so slightly with something that bothered my taste buds. My salmon skin Handrolls were executed the way I asked for them to be but they were just so of... Crispy "nothingness". My salmon/avocado roll wrapped in cucumber was pretty good though, light and refreshing. There are other sushi spots I prefer over this one in the area but I do like that Green Ginger does have Chinese and Thai Food options because my husband likes that kind of food too. read more

Not even gonna waste much of your time... Just skip this place hibachi had no flavor. Fried rice tasted like an old black pepper covered rubber shoe... coconut soup and miso soup was decent, lobster was chewy.. Thai basil dish was decent as well. Waitress was great, manager made slick comment and seemed offended that we didn't like the meal but took a whopping $8 off the meal even though I didn't eat it and sent it back. How nice! Overall i won't return but if you're a gambler, give this place a shot! read more

The mango and sticky rice definitely NOT mango and sticky rice. The spicy edamame could have a little more flavor with some garlic added to it . The Thai basil lunch was an okay dish, but I wouldn't recommend a place like this to cook Thai food definitely ruined Thai food representation and the culture. The miso soup was fishy and the coconut soup was on point. The fried rice tasted like old molded rag... DEFINITELY WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS PLACE... the manager made a very smart comment and seems a bit rude... shouldn't be working in a place where you can't take "criticism" it look unprofessional. Green Ginger is great. I went to the Peachtree City Ga location. It's awesome! Second visit and both times were very good. Good drinks and the drink prices are reasonable. I got a 3 course meal. There are 3,4,and 5 course meals. They come with lots of choices of an appetizer, a sushi roll and a main course. I got hot and sour soup, gyoza (it had 6 pieces!), and sesame chicken. I was very happy with all my choices. My server Christina was very friendly and attentive. Oh and btw there's a robot cart that will bring your meal to your table. Menus stuck together and whatever was making the pages stick stretching as you pull the pages away, sticky floors, dirty glass by tables, silverware also dirty. Food was mediocre. I had the dynamite roll. It was drenched in eel and yum yum sauce. It was overbearing to the point it was nauseating. (Thank God for the Sake) The older ladies working here also need to work on their attitudes. I had politely said, "hello" with a smile and was met both times with silence and dirty looks. Mind you, these women are Caucasian and fluent in English so there was no language barrier. This place possibly has potential, but once was enough. Have now visited this restaurant at least 3-4 times and this time I was not a fan of the dish that I selected. When I saw panang curry listed on the menu under the Thai menu I immediately became excited.....I love indian and Thai curry. Unfortunately this restaurant is not creating the dish the traditional way. Curry dishes always have a thick sauce that sticks to the meat.....unfortunately this restaurant made it like a chinese stirfry. Too many vegetables, not enough chicken and a very watery (like a soup) sauce. The sauce did not stick to the meat/veggies and I felt like I was eating a soup. Very disappointing!!
