He told me a water heater required 240 volts when it was a 120. That is a fundamental mistake somebody would not make who is an electrician. He told me to re-wire for a 50 amp circuit. The cost of doing that would probably be $4,000-5,000 on the low end if there was access. It made no sense. Not only did the prior water heater not require it (I don't know if he knew we could a warranty replacement) but there is literally no way to do it given the construction. I was forced to pay $75 for this assessment. I called the water heater manufacturer and told them the product was 240 and required all this power why did they send it. They were clear it is 120 and does not require all that power. I called twice to try to get an answer from this company. Nobody called me back. This service could be a scam. This is like a doctor mistaking a heart for for a kidney. The manual was taped to the water heater. The technician claims he ran the calculations. He did not. He didn't even open the manual. I also found out the person sent did not work for the company I called. This wasted my time and my money.

He set up an elaborate display with portable lights to demonstrate the effect of new lights. It was spectacular! Though the install took a bit longer than initially expected, the result was fabulous. Thereafter, Dale suggested that one entire area along the street could also use lighting. We had never even thought of that before, and he was 100% correct. Again, he set up a demonstration and it was wonderful. Now when we enter our home at night, it's a showcase! Dale was respectful and warm-hearted. We highly recommend him.

After almost a month of no forward progress Dale came out and walked my property. Again, he promised a written bid and then followed up with NOTHING. Overall, I was promised booking/ bid/information on at least four separate occasions after turning in all of my paperwork promptly with no follow-through. Seven weeks later and ABSOLUTELY nothing has even been received to date. It sure would have been much more professional and easier for everyone if you just said you didn't want the job! Over several days I engaged in 3 conversations with a Cabana salesperson. She recommended their house brand (Matouk) and assured me Matouk was a "best seller" and "Cabana carried nothing but the best". Over subsequent conversations it was clear that the salesperson could not answer basic questions such as "why is Matouk your best seller?" I prompted her to discuss thread counts and cotton types, but she was mostly stumped. She eventually admitted that she never used a Matouk product. I had the impression that she had never used a fine linen product. I eventually found a sell on the Internet with a tremendous amount of knowledge that made me feel safe in my decision. I also felt like I learned something, other than what is the "best seller". I spent 15 minutes on the phone with an expert and made the decision....that was a savings when you consider I got nowhere with Cabana in over an hour of discussions and research. I spent slightly more, approximately $1000, on the Internet than I would have spent at Cabana, but for my 12th anniversary I needed to be 100% certain that I would not be disappointed. I also felt better telling my partner all about the type of cotton, thread count, etc., rather than simply saying "happy anniversary, the Sales person told me it is there best seller".
