We wanted to try some of the pastries they have in one of the sections, the girl said I'm not gonna charge you because the items are too old and they might not be good anymore. ( then why the heck would you even sell them???!!!) 3) some items are really overpriced. You can find them for cheaper price in international market I left buying only a mascarpone cheese and some honey. The honey was one of the most expensive honey I've bought and in terms of the quality it was probably the worst I've ever had. Don't get the thyme honey, it's basically water and sugar in the form of honey.

I also tried 2 of their cookies and they were so soft and melted right in my mouth. They even had a coffee shop inside too. On those days it's like I just picked it from my garden. The customer service can be exceptional. Most of the employees give great service. However, there is one employee who seems to get testy as she seems to allow her moods to rule how she interacts with customers. She seems to be selective too, as I've seen her treat some customers badly and others well on the same day. She use to be nice with me until one day she accidently short changed me. When I brought it to her attention, she denied it. I smiled and said, "Well it's only a few cents anyway. If you find your register is over at the end of the day, you'll know where it came from." I had given her a quarter; she counted it as a nickel. It's very immature and unprofessional and petty to hold such a grudge, thus I couldn't give 5 stars. But I don't let that stop me from enjoying the good qualities of shopping locally. We are blessed to have a family run produce market in our neighborhood where most of the service providers take pride in their quality goods. They even have a few organic options.

It's located where Presidente use to be on the corner of Chickasaw and Curry Ford Rd. First thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell of Fabuloso cleaner. The place was spotlessly clean, so much better than when it was Presidente. It's still the same setup, and they had a lot of great sales going on. Got a bag of onions for 1.99, Malta India was on sale for 3.99, They also had sales on a wide array of coffees. Like Presidente, this supermarket has a lot of Latin American products. I love that the Bakery had like 5 different types of bread available. Pan de agua, Cuban bread, pan sobao, etc. I will definitely frequent this market.
