A deli area in one corner, a full on meat seafood counter. We come up a usually on a mission for a few items but always leave with more. As I said, the store is small, but was well stocked with grocery items from not only the Phillipines, but from all over. Usually when I grab my coconut vinegar from an Asian market, I have a choice of one brand and either spicy or regular. M&M Phillipine Mart had several brands and I opted for a brand that just looking at their spicy coconut vinegar, I knew that I was in for a real treat. When I got home, I had to try a bit of it and it was so much better than the other brand. So, for the coconut vinegar alone, I will come here just to get that. The girl behind the counter was friendly and outgoing. I am guessing that she is the daughter of the owner because she said she sent someone to talk to her mother in the back. The summer rolls have shrunk in size last I recall but you get 3 pcs with peanut sauce (shrimp filled) for $3.50 - the non shrimp ones are $3. The snacks dept are priced reasonably. some chips/candies are under $2. The japan items are a little pricier. Staff here are friendly except for the cashier she has a little attitude when it comes to reprinting receipts. I bought 2 summer rolls - 4 chips 2 bags gummy candy and 1 box tea for a total of $24.
