Green Key LLC Staffing Professionals on Research Boulevard is a wonderful company. I have worked…read morewith several temp agencies and I was always made to feel like a number and just a paycheck to those who were placing me. I chose to stay with Green Key because of one of their employees names Erika Silvey. SHE IS THE BEST. She cares about you, talks to you like a friend and finds jobs that she believes will be a fit for you both skill and personality-wise. She has found me one job that went permanent do to an excellent placement. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I had to leave that job so I turned to Erika again for help. Now, I am at another job which I love and fit in real well. If you choose to go to Green Key, I highly recommend Erika Silvey. Her work number is 301-584-3194. PS...I NEVER write reviews...but I just had to spread the word about Green Key and Erika Silvey. Kimberly

Cross-posting my review because my recruiter deserves more than one 5-Star review:…read moreI came to Green Key Resources with 2 years prior experience as a temp. I had contacted 7 local temp agencies, 4 didn't reply at all, 1 called me in for an interview then never contacted me again, and one set up a phone interview and then stopped communicating altogether. My Green Key recruiter, Erika Silvey, called me in for an interview right away. The interview was quite long and very thorough and by the end I felt like she had gotten to know me and what I bring to the table as far as my skills/experience/personality. Right away she got me a temp job at a management consulting firm that I was able to walk to. Her communication was excellent, from the first day to the last I felt like I could contact her with any questions or concerns I might have. I found the Green Key app very easy to use, and I preferred entering/submitting the hours I had worked on my phone, rather than filling in a piece of paper, getting a manager to sign it, faxing it to the agency, etc. After that first job ended, she said "I know you're looking for something full-time, but for now would you be interested in another temporary position until we find something permanent?". I really appreciated the acknowledgement that I was not interested in being a temp for 2 years (again). She also provided me with very constructive feedback on my resume and what she expected as far as updating it as I ended one assignment and began another. Fast forward ~1 month, quite happy to be working again (and making 50% more than the last temp agency paid!), and after 1 job interview she set up that went well but ultimately was not for me (they were afraid my commute would be too long), Erika had me placed at a local financial institution that ended up hiring me. She gave me good, practical advice as far as negotiating my salary and other hurdles as a potential new hire. Pay, benefits, growth potential, fit, and just overall job satisfaction are the best I've ever had and I would not have this great new career were it not for Erika Silvey @ Green Key Resources. 10/10, have recommended this agency/recruiter to many friends/family.

A recruiter reached out to me during quarantine regarding available positions at local pharma…read morecompanies. Twice a week she would call me with updates, usually very redundant about how the "manager" was going to send my resume over or make a call. I don't know that he or she ever did their part. Suddenly, I am no longer getting calls and no one is answering my calls even when voicemails are left. If I'm not fit for the position then have the decency to inform me ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU REACHED OUT TO ME during a pandemic. A couple weeks later, a different recruiter called me and warned me that the Rockville office is known for this behavior. Needless to say, I will NEVER consider using Aerotek as a staffing agency.

I asked why this information was not provided when I originally called (from a government/county agency), and was told she could not speak on the behalf of someone else. I was given a secondary number to call and a code to use. I said thank you and was hung up on. Here's a customer service tip. The second representative I spoke to on day two should have said, "I'm sorry no one got back to you yesterday, I'll find out who you spoke with and make sure they are aware of our process and procedures so this doesn't happen again. Unfortunately we are unable to provide the information you are requesting, but you can call this dept and they will be happy to help you and answer your question". AND WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THANK YOU, YOU SAY "YOUR WELCOME". You can even add have a nice day/weekend.

In 2012 I applied for an office job this agency was advertising and never heard back. No big deal,…read moresuch is the world of job hunting. Fast forward to now, six years later. Over the past few weeks I've received numerous emails from this company for positions that are not related to my industry. I also now live 3,000 miles away from the DMV area. I have responded to their recruiters that I am not seeking employment and am not living in the area, and to kindly remove my information from their database. After a few days I'll receive a reply from the same recruiter stating "I didn't hear back from you..." So starts the cycle again. This business seems shady or the recruiters are overworked to the point where they never check their emails or resources.

I received a job listing from the recruiter 'Laina Applegate' (I don't believe this is her name or…read morea real person at all) in regards to a position in Falls Church, VA. Oddly enough, the job description contained several sections taken directly from my actual resume. The 'to:' line included an email address that I purposely keep separate from this email; one that I make sure to never mention between each other when dealing with recruiters. When I asked how it was that they obtained the secondary email address, the recruiter magically disappeared and never responded. 'Laina' contacted me at 5:43AM and my reply came within an hour. I even sent a follow up email to 'her' not responding to such a simple inquiry. This isn't a company that can be trusted or dealt with in anyway. Report as phishing if your email provider allows you to and never send them anything personable to yourself--be it a resume, cover sheet, etc. The one positive review they have on Yelp isn't believable and is clearly fabricated.

It's been awhile but I'm back in the temp market so I looked up Graham, because I worked for them…read moreyears ago and they were wonderful. After reading the only review I've seen here, I was really disappointed, but then I saw that Amanda Krape was this person's rep. I realize that having pay delayed is a major issue and must have been very frustrating for this temp, however, Amanda Krape was also my rep and she was AMAZING. She kept me working, she was always in my corner, the pay situation was never any problem whatsoever. As a matter of fact, nothing was ever any problem whatsoever. Graham kept me working continually, everyone was always positive and helpful and supportive and that's why I'm looking through them again now that I'm interested in temping again. Don't let one person's rough experience keep you from considering Graham. I've worked through a number of temp agencies over the years - and Graham was the best of the lot, hands down.

My recruiter's name was Amanda Krape (hence the last name because she and the agency surely were…read more"crap-py" and incompetent). Graham, on my very first paycheck, deposited my paycheck into a closed account which I informed them of prior to payday. It took over a week battling over this issue, which they then, finally, made a payment to my correct account. However, this now meant TWO payments out there: 1) The wrong account. 2) The correct account. They explained they transitioned over to a new system and for some reason, the new system didnt recognize my new account. ????????? They asked me to contact my bank, get a letter stating my account had been closed, which was a hassle. I explained I would provide the correct paperwork, but that my going to the bank, meeting with them and traveling to their location was a lot in one day, but will do - they emailed to say my next pay would be withheld. They also disabled my Graham online account thereby making it impossible to view my hours (without the situation being resolved nor telling me). Talk about passive - aggressive #1. They failed to pay me on my FIRST pay day, by sending money to wrong/closed account. #2. After countless communications sent back and forth over a week, they finally wired me my money (does this sound like a stable company?). #3. Then, after realizing money was out there in cyberspace - withheld my paycheck, disabled my graham online account and I couldnt view anything - not even my hours from the previous week to calculate what I would earn nor the ability to see if my hours were verified and approved (it would have been my second paycheck). Yes, this company will be out of business within a year for bad business practice. To add insult to injury - I was charged a wire fee despite the fact it was THEIR mistake. To this day, they have yet to reimburse me!!
