She hesitated for a moment, then looked it up on her computer. She stated it would be about $5000.00.He then replied, ''I was quoted that it would be about $2,500.00 And then she quipped,NO! IT WILL BE ABOUT $5000.00 FOR THE WORK.Her attitude suddenly changed. She became hostile and arrogent, then began to argue with him,as a patient. With that he said,''The document speaks for itself that I have.'' Then she stated''YOU KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE $5000.00.With that attitude he stood up out of the dental chair and cme up to the reception area, where I was waiting. The staff all looking on,and smiling, like chesire cats. Then she continued to speak dissmissivly in fron tof other patients. He and I left. Not only was it a very unfortunate issue, but a violation of HIPPA,By speaking in front of the entire waiting room full of patients. She said,Well you know dentists, and you can take $1200.00 off that. Then her comment was, YOU CAN STRECH THIS OUT,SO YOU CAN AFFORD TO PAY.He said,''it's not about the money.Your staff was inept,in not explaining any of this to me" We left immediatly. The practice felt like a MONEY GRUBBING BUNCH OF CHARLATONS.My husbands late mother, served 2 terms on the MN Dental Board. He knows that the board could sanction the Dentist, for such flagrant violations for HIPPA. Frankly I have been in discount stores with more finess than the entire practice.Never would we reccomend this ''OUTFIT!'' it is hardly a'' practice!'' There are so many hard working, kind dental professionals It is a shame they smear the reputation of DENTISTRY!

After pointing out three concerns with their current practice I was asked not to come back…read more 1. This is the first practice ever where I have had to pay taxes for a fully covered preventative service. This is not a normal practice. I was met with a lot of rudeness when asked to have this explained to me. 2. During an appointment we were asked if we wanted fluoride. I asked if my children has already had their one covered for the year, and was told no. Then I was charged for the cost, because we had already had it at the last appointment. When I called to ask, I was told it was not the offices responsibility to know what I had been billed for. Even though they billed my insurance. I felt I was blamed for not doing a better job of checking their billing practices, instead of them questioning whether or not that is a shady practice. 3. The final straw was a shift to only scheduling 2 months in advance even though we should be regularly seen every 6 months. When I called to explain that this practice-serving service I was told if I didn't want to have to pull my children out of school for an appointment I was welcome to call each week to try to get a better time. Did you know that recently I get it feedback and questioning is not always welcomed.

When she came out she was so drugged up it was terrifying . It was obvious she had been crying yet the staff never came to ask me how to proceed or inform me. Instead she told me how the one technician had informed her if she kept crying she would throw up and she would have to clean it up if she did. This was a scared 4 yr old child and that is how they dealt with her! Absolutely disgusting and I would never use a dentist geared towards children again. I switched to an elderly dentist who did not specialize in children and she never had an issue, he never scared her or hurt her. She was of course afraid at first thinking it might be like this place , but once she saw it wasn't she was fine. Thank goodness she didnt end up afraid of dentists forever.

This is the most expensive dentist I have ever been to. Furthermore, they are deceptive in the way they do business in order to extract more money from you. They do not inform you of costs up front, they take your child back to do x-rays and lo and behold, the x rays cost almost $200. This is confirmed by the fact that they do not want the parents in the exam room. They know that if the parents saw all that they were doing back there, they would object because who wants to spend almost $400 on a dentist visit just for cleanings and an X-ray? Their manner with parents is also demeaning. They speak loudly about your child's cavities in front of other patients. There is zero concern about privacy. I am never going back to this dentist and I recommend parents look elsewhere for their child's needs.
