This is my favorite part--there's no pretense at the Academy. When you ask questions, you get real answers. The school itself is also in a great spot, right off two main highways and within walking distance to several lunch spots (all of which are known to look out for new massage students, especially Grumpy's next door.) And I always felt comfortable inviting friends and family to come in for a massage because the facility here is so professional, with individual rooms for clinic massages rather than curtained areas in a larger, more public atmosphere. Clinics feel like real-world practice from the first day, and this helped instill me with the confidence I sorely needed before breaking out into the massage therapy world. Whether you come to the Academy for an education in massage therapy or a relaxing massage, you'll receive personalized attention from some fun and super down-to-earth people. This makes it so much more disappointing.
