He approached us months after we first reaches out as it seems he needed money. My first red flag should have been that he needed payment upfront to get the materials. Not a good way to run a business. First - the grading is terrible. They laid the. Rick trim down first before grading anything and that is evident with the pools of rain water that collect all around our porch instead of flowing away and around the porch. 2nd - they didn't level or grade at all before the turf was laid down. It's bumpy and has kinda and low spots all over. Mainly right at the porch that. Now floods. He came back after it was done and I expressed my issues and was pretty much ignored with a "if it wasn't so hot we would have done better". For someone that claimed they wanted to get into home inspections, I'd expect better. We now are planning on re doing it with someone more capable and qualified. We did get a deal on the project but at this point I should have just paid more for the other guy. I give this two stars for the "deal" and the shirt time frame it took to do the job. Otherwise, I would avoid organ mountain landscapers unless you get some sort of guarantee of work. It's too late now to go back to them but with this years rains, it's evident we got a bad deal. We are glad to have the turf but the quality overall is sub par.

Living far away from my mother, she sent me pictures and it appeared that all she really needed was the actual hanging of the door. Her friend did a lot of work installing the track, but the door was heavy unfortunately and his back gave out on him towards what he thought was the end stages of the project. I called King of Kings Service, and Israel said he could swing by and finish handing the door the next day. He quoted a very reasonable fee as well! Well, unbeknownst to us, Israel walked into a bigger mess than we had thought. The track wasn't hung correctly as thought, so he had to come back out and spent a great deal more time than expected. My mom is on a fixed income, but Israel worked with her on the final cost of the project, and my mom couldn't be more happy with Israel or the new barn door he installed for her closet! Ok, I don't own a truck, and I needed 2 tons of sand for a landscaping/patio project in my yard…read more Last weekend, I networked with family, nad my nephew borrowed a trailer from his father so we could get a couple tons of gravel (had to go elsewhere to match the color I wanted), remove 2-3 tons of caliche, and get 2 tons of sand. Because I don't own a truck, and wanted to respect my nephew's time, I called all of the parties involved and orchestrated this perfectly. Gamboa's was to be the last stop. I called during the week, and asked the lady what their Saturday hours were, and shared why I was concerned (arranging teruck, etc.). She said 7-12. At 11:30 Saturday we show up, and they are locked up - no one around. My wife convinced me to call back Monday to give them a chance to redeem themselves. Quite honestly, I had no desire, I was irritated that I had to arrange for someone to deliver the sand, and pay the delivery charge because I didn't have access to the truck now. I had taken Monday and Tuesday off from work to finish this task, and this put me very far behind where I wanted to be. I called Gamboa's, and the same lady answered the phone. I explained what had happened, and she asked when we had come by. I stated 11:30, she then told me they had an equipment malfunction at 11:25 and closed. I stated I did not have a truck, and now neede dsand delivered, and asked to speak with the owner. She said he would call me back in an hour. During this hour, I called other places, and found a "plan B" vendor. About 45 minutes later, the lady from Gamboas called back. She said the owner was willing to take $4 a ton off the cost of the sand. She then proceeded to ask if I was going to pick it up. At this time, I reminded her I did not own a truck, hence the reason I called ahead, and that I had also reminded her of this less than an hour before. Disgusted, I went with the plan B vendor. It cost a little more, but they delivered the sand about an hour after I arranged the delivery. I have my wonderments if the owner is even aware of this happening, and if he is, how many times this sort of thing has happened before.
