We had a great breakfast. Look at the perfect layers of my eggs Benedict. We recommend that and the stuffed French Toast. Waitress was friendly and service was pretty fast even though they were really busy. Atmosphere is low key, more casual, but not too load which was great.

We went Sunday for brunch. It was great food, reasonably priced, and a welcoming feel. I had stuffed French toast, in the picture, my SIL had the Covered Bridge, and hubs had the Vermonster. All were very good. There's not a lot of seating so come early or be prepared to wait. Our meals were served with "real Vermont maple syrup," and it was delicious.

We had a fantastic early breakfast here this morning! My husband had the Green Mountaineer (2 flap jacks, 2 eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns). The portion was VERY generous - flap jacks were delicious, and everything else was good (but needed seasoning). I had the 2-egg breakfast with bacon, toast, and home fries. Everything was cooked very well, but needed seasoning. Coffee was good, and the service was excellent. To top it off, the bill for both of us was only $16! This is, by far, the BEST breakfast we have had around here.

Great food, price and service. Recommend saving room so you can try the maple bread pudding!

Twigs was pretty good! It was very cute, busy on Friday night, with live music. I had made a…read morereservation, but when we got there the front room was full and they only had seats in the back room which was disappointing because I have hearing loss and could not hear the music from the back room.!My husband and daughter could not hear it some of the time either. They said it depends on the song. I asked to be seated in the main room and the hostess told us that when something opens up she's would let us know so we could move but she never returned. When we left there were plenty of seats available in the front. We certainly would have stayed and had more drinks after our meal to enjoy the music. On to the food. We basically all ordered the same thing in a different form! Haha! It was the Vermonter where you got your main dish with sautéed apples and maple bacon jam. We got the Mac and cheese, the wrap, and a burger on a gluten free bun. We were impressed with their gluten free options and the bun was so good, my daughter was nervous it was not gluten free! It was! And she felt great afterwards. All the food was good, the drinks we had were good, and the service was good. The place was cute and looked like a lot of fun if you were in the front room!

I started with the French Onion soup that was just okay. It was nothing to brag about. Then I had…read morethe plain Mac n Cheese with a fried chicken breast that was cut into big pieces. I had to request a plate to place the chicken on as the dish had what looked like a pound of macaroni in it. It was overflowing and too big of a portion. The restaurant is in a great spot on Main St across from Taylor Park. The decor inside is original brick walls and a retro vibe. I sat at the bar and the bartender plus other staff were friendly.

Had a really delicious lunch. All three of us really enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was incredibly…read moreattentive and did a great job of keeping us updated on the status of our food. The only downside was it took a really long time to get our food. But, our waitress and food mostly made up for it! Looking forward to going back and giving it another try.

I have no issues with that I understand however the hostess giving an attitude was not pleasant. My mom and I came in and were told "the kitchen is backed up by 45 minutes so you can sit but it's going to be awhile due to staffing" We said that's fine and sat. However the people who came after use also did NOT have a reservation and were still served drinks before us. So we said something' to the waitress. The hostess comes over and begins lecturing " I told you it's going to be 45 minutes those people only got drinks they didn't put in a food order yet" So I said "Okay so why aren't we served or offered drinks like them then?l" And she proceeded to say "it hasent even been 15 minuets" So I said "Okay well those people still came after us and were offered drinks. You said the kitchen was backed up I didn't know the bar was the same as the kitchen" Then she huffed away needles to say the waitress was very nice and professional and the food and drinks were good. However you could tell the waitress was uncomfortable and not impressed with how the hostess was literally trying to argue. Moral of the story it's common courtesy to take reservations or who comes in the door first in the appropriate order. Next time maybe just say sorry instead of arguing with your guests about a simple mistake you were called out for. I cons from a family of restaurant workers including front and back of the house. You don't just skip whoever you feel like when they were there first. I will say the hostess came back and apologized which was a nice gesture however she shouldn't have acted like that to begin with
