I was told unless I wanted to put my deposit towards another purchase they were going to take a 15% restocking fee $70. There is no place written that states a restocking fee or was it verbally stated. I canceled my order within 3 days and there was nothing to restock. I filed a complaint with the BBB which they never answered. My boyfriend called the owner of Yankee Furniture and he said he would look into it and call us back, which he did not. This is unheard of. I work hard for my money and $70.00 for 'NOTHING is thievery.

We were really happy with the range of items to choose from and ordered great quality furniture for a really manageable price. When the deadline came for getting the furniture in, not everything had been delivered. Kyle arranged for brand new furniture from the store to cover us until the complete order arrived. Then they came back and redelivered still no charge.....removing the " loaner " furniture and completing our order. These guys are a class act and really covered our butts for our first rental. I wish we had these guys in Connecticut!

I haven't counted them, but we probably own 30 or more items from the catalog -- the child's rocker, several tape-back rockers, several arm chairs, the Shaker wall clock, 4 or 5 of the lovely ceramic lamps, a couple of dozen Shaker boxes and carriers, among others. We've also purchased many items as Christmas gifts for our children. Recently, our oldest daughter's home suffered a fire and she lost nearly all of the Shaker items. We salvaged the cherry floor lamp, but discarded the electronics. I requested replacement electronics from Shaker Workshops and customer service kindly mailed them out very quickly and at no cost. It was much appreciated. Since the company's purchase by Tappan Chair Company several years ago, the Shaker Workshops catalog has shrunk considerably, to our chagrin, and we sincerely hope that it increases its menu of items in the coming years. My wife and I love the clean, simple lines of Shaker furniture and the design and construction care shown by the company.

This is a multi-vendor shop which means there is a wide variety of items at varying price points. Books, tools, home decor, ephemera, art, jewelry, collectibles, etc. I don't think I have ever left empty handed.
